Good introduction. And welcome.

Welcome. I always wonder how hello was said on danish. Now I know. It has to be wonderful to live where the core of LEGO is, i assume is very popular over there. Greetings.

Thanks a lot j30spiff, really think it capture the battle feeling? I was a bit worried of not achieve it, but Im glad it can be seen. Thanks Silverface, the idea came after a class of history, at the begining it was intended for a Rome vs Barbarians, but it end this way. Thanks a lot TazManiac Really appreciate the advices, you are correct about the roman style for developing their forts, in fact it was a point where they exceled, among all other proofs of building techniques back in their days, simple yet functional. Im glad someone noticed the ram, truly i was proud of it. On the other hand my ladders will have to be redesign. Been honest the fort It has been tear apart, and the start of a new one has begun. In the future I expect to place it here. Just when i finish some university exams. Greetings.

Congrats to lucky winners And great to see so many participants

Well it surely improves its predecesor, just curious how kids non-fans of SW will react to a "demon evil guy face" I guess everybody knows who is Darth Maul.

Well after seeing the joust idea perhaps more of the prison escapes are necesary. Extortion, I feel you man... Same here, almost 250% of increase on price. We can always try buying online Honestly think thats what im going to do

Been honest the last wave it was ok, I give a 8-10 to all sets, but the outpost a 5. Here is a review of the prison tower wich i think is not <insert that tiresome argument>, in fact i have read some people prefered first than the kings castle. Not my case. http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=42034

Indeed the offerings in 2011 are better that we could have expected, civilian sets were demanded for AFOL´s in the MMV thought a little bit hard to get as was introduced in the market as exclusive. Hopefully LEGO will develop more sets as the Village Raids, as you say its primary core is children and I think gonna be a huge success, all sets IMHO are strong enough for this wave, just perhaps the kings chariot is the weakest, for there are no more things than a carriage and two trees for a set of that value. Well I think is the only one Im passing of buying it, not because I dont like, but I feel are better sets for that value, or to buy another copy of the Village Raid. Just curious how many do you expect to expend on this wave?? In my case and because Im a full time student, 1 Village Raid, 2 Prison sets, 4 Blacksmith sets = 150 dollars

Great work¡ Is indeed a tall tower. Really I like the colors used to construct the tower, maybe a little less black in addition of some brown to replace it, will seem more joyful and not so dark By the way good plot in there too. Im glad my humble MOC served as motivation.

Great MOC at first i tought of a computer generated but it is really impressive.

A stable with the place for all the horses, the messengers, the couriers, the armor for the horses, all its gear and a space to be for the stable boys and soldiers, and a more fancy room for the knights. Just cant decide if I want it for the Dragons or Lions.

Hey thanks a lot SirSven7 yes I have the Fort Legoredo, in fact it was the only primary set I used and had at hand at the moment. For the front part I want to do something more decorative, but at the same time functional, because a fort is a temporal practical structure rather than a permanent practical structure that can have nice add ups. Also about the grey bricks I think is a great change, when I finished the fort I saw the lateral parts and was like Meh¡ Really enjoyed more the back garden, and couldnt realize it was the contrast it gave the rock pieces, more than the vegetation. About adding a river seems pretty cool, just dont have much blue pieces. Just a couple, maybe 30, hardly a river. But Ill try to get those To be honest just have 9 Spartans, Im happy with the number. Greetings.

I agree.

I really like the MOC. on the inside is very spacious, think that is how is written. The colors are also a good mixture, and even relax the eyes from all colorful things you see on internet. And seems also not the only one that noticed, the face on the front. is like the castle can see the huge enemy army that aproches.

 We have a winner. Congratulations for your son. An AFOL in progress, I supose. We shall grow in numbers, and dominate the world.¡ Well maybe not, at least our LEGO world, muahahaha Continue the post, when your friends at birthday tricks you with the presents, they give you puzzles and you think is LEGO. Good for them only once they did that joke

Hi again, i have resized the pics, hope this time the size is correct. Sorry for the large pics, before, wasnt aware, that brickshelf didnt resize them by itself. Also thanking the comments. Yeah I have to improve on my photo skills, maybe with a tripod would be better. And what will you improve to this design, as I said, is one of my firsts MOC´s in a long time, so maybe Im a little rusty. And lack of good concepts of design, I like it, but definetely think could be improved Please feel free to comment. Just be nice or Ill send Leonidas after you¡ Nah just kidding.

Yes, it seems so. I prefer it this way, is more like a king on a trip, not using all his gear, because he feels secure... Well perhaps in a future set the lion knights will have to rescue him for his selfconfidence. That would mean new sets for Kingdoms Oh my¡ thinking on new sets, when i havent yet get those from this year.

Hello first topic that shall post with one of my MOC´S. Im still a rookie but will like any feedback and advice from you. And hope you like it. The Dragons attack¡ Defenders to their posts. Our spartans fight in less numbers. The assault continues. The battle rages on... A breech is opened, Dragons inside the fort... Quickly to the gate¡ Stand your ground. Lion Cavalry on its way. Will they arrive on time? Bonus Meanwhile, in the quiet garden behind the fort, the pig enjoys its food. Oink, oink, he doesnt know whether the Spartans or Dragons are victorius, he will be part of the fest, and not as guest.

I agree, in some of Sirens of Titan there can be seen a usage for the cheese pieces for a roof, with outstanding results. By the way, the sets with these photos look even better, the mill seems more big than the one seen on the toyfair pics. Well the prison seems smaller on the other hand, but i dont care that much, has a nice amount of minifigs and the so precious knight. Off topic, great MOCs. Sirens
