Not a bad start at all. Good put on scenery with the troops. You made a good solid fundation for the building but perhaps a little more combination between colors on the wall, timber section and roof, will benefit the overall of the MOC, other little advice, something Ive learned on EB is that the more detail on the field is better, you could improve it, with some rocks and more vegetation. Again nice building.

Dr Rod's Nocturnus Embassy in Hykerbia, Mitgardia.
Niku replied to Dr Rod's topic in Guilds of Historica
Interesting roof design, and such a great quantity of tiles used. I like the pics with light enhances the feeling of lava and polluting swamp. -
I agree, the size made able to integrate with other figures on a scale wich Lego couldnt.

Wow with 64 studs long not counting the Uruk packs it will be a long set.I love it even more¡
-
Yeah and those curtains are not fashion style and do not combine with the red drow tower. I have to agree with sok117 she is very pretty.

It is amazing the quantity of detail you put on this build, and nice techniques used, great build sensations with the gate, main tower and vendors posts. One of my favorite embassies.

A lovely build, is so natural it seems real. Excellent job.

Yes they are. A nice approach to Middle Earth and introduction to main characters, full of charisma.

And between these two? Last time I asked here wasn´t sure about BoA from PoP or VMR from Kingdoms, with the advices of some I got the one from PoP and I am very happy of that choice. I got a few days back the MMV so for the next months before LOTR theme appears what, between the two you mentioned, is worthier? On one side I am a Castle guy, I love the joust for its unique design, useful pieces for MOCs and good integration with my collection. (Also that connects with the Kings Castle is a plus) On the other side, Pet Shop would be my first modular, wich is a theme already accept, I wont be able to complete, but I will like to give it a try, the pieces and minifigs not sure if they will serve that much for what I usually build, as I said, City is not my main theme, but from what I can see on the pictures is a great and fun build, seems to have interesting techniques and can be put on an office desk as an ornament. So please anyone with some advice to this confused guy wich likes both sets, but definetely can only get one (still on college)

I love the roofs, very impossing. And the interior is so full of activity. Well done.

The judges (been drow) must have fled just with the presence of Artorius, such is their fear to him. I wonder what the outcome of these games will be?

Yay another review, gonna read it now.

I love this turn of event Interesting MOC a little scary, but great at the same time.

Never on this life. Well 130 dollars for the pieces received and the great set, plus wonderful minifigs is right to me. Although I remember it was said costed 120 dollars and were 9 minifigs. I would have prefered that version.

Theoden minifig is amazing, forget about the Uruk, I reconsider this to be the best of this first wave. And yes the exploding wall is fantastic, the interior of Helms Deep is good too, I love Rohan banner. The Uruk Hai army is growing more on me I planned to get one or two, but four would be more accurate. Also I think the small axe of Gimli on Moria set is printed.

My favorite minifig of this line is the Uruk Hai with helmet, armor, shield and weapon is just fantastic, closely followed by Gimli, Haldir, and perhaps Theoden. Helms Deep is great, and with a lot of detail, and possibly nice features too, like exploding wall, a jump from the lateral door, the union ramp between the wall gate to the inner wall. This will have to be a must buy. But I ask only 8 minifigs? Overall I like all baddies even Gollum. To make a recount we got two wraiths, Shelob, Gollum, nice quantity of Uruks (9 or 8), a pair of goblins and a mighty troll. Goodies: Whole Fellowship + Haldir + Theoden and rohan soldier.

Woah thanks for these better pics.
-
I still prefer Helms Deep to have that honor, but Moria is better than I expected. I want it too. I don´t know how I am going to pay for all these sets on the quantities needed. By the way, you beat me again, but just for a min difference.

You are right. But what NIP stands for? New in Package? New in Production? It is confusing to have two prices next to each other.
-
I was coming to post the pics. But hey you were faster. I agree with Superficial Username that suit is going to be my first mech, so I am excited about it. I think the price is 25.99

141 at the moment but yesterday bought the MMV so 149 on a couple of weeks.

Nice work, I like the colors used. I will have to try the top of the wall with the round pieces, gives a good feel and look to the whole structure, and also I like the rock formations very firm built on a rocky base. Greetings.
-
I see you will repeat on the top 5¡ It is very good embassy, I like the wooden towers, have a realistic timber look, the largest one resembles a lot to the one on Durnovaria, wich I love to see the continuity. And of course the interior is priceless with so much detail.

I like the forge, I count 3 armor pieces perhaps we could get 4, that is a lot, I guess the Atlantis helmet will replace the uruk helmet because it is a prelim, but then I love the rock base detail. Thanks for the pics. And by the way I would suggest first to watch the movies then read the books, I did that way and enjoyed it a lot.
