  1. I forgot to comment of the great build you made for the 3rd round, because the story took all of my attention, but now I can delight with it properly. I have to say I love the ilusion of curves used on the upper windows, great perspective trick. The chimney is cool too, I would like to see some smoke to add realism. The roof color is odd for Nocturnus yet I enjoy how it enhances the whole building. The part of the sewer is very clever and the detail of the skelleton on cage adds to the creepy atmosphere. Great job my Lord.
  2. I´ve finished my buil for Albion. Link for the thread.
  3. The Explorer´s Stable a construction on the inner sanctum, the quarters for the explorers provides the best men to undertake missions requiring dexterity and skill concerning tracking, exploration, search and protection of roads. The stables can be considered a minor construction compared with those for the Flights of Dragons and actually are, because their task is different, but undoubtedly its horses are superior to many that you can find the length and breadth of Historica. The explorer´s forces originally were mostly avalonians of the provinces, this has changed under the command of the half-elf, Arfelan, since have joined its strength both as forestmen and wood elves making their diminished once numbers, again to become a force to be on consideration. Every Lord of Avalonia each has at its disposal the services of a few explorers to patrol their lands, although it must be said that the highest concentration of forces are scattered both in the Enchanted Forest and in the plains bordering Kaliphlin. Explorer´s Stables Brickshelf. Comments and Criticism are appreciated.
  4. No. 19 Explorer´s Stable
  5. I agree the stud on a mold figure is what gives that characterization according to Lego, besides it can be useful as other mentioned for attaching purposes.
  6. Sounds very exciting and promising this 3rd challenge, and the whole story of Historica is reaching another level. With the introduction of these characters and the future quests for the ancient shrine.
  7. Forget about the set, I prefer the wonderful review.
  8. I specially like the back of the Balrog, besides its size is not as enormous I would like to be, it is ok, and I guess with some printed parts and a good palette of colors added to a bigger design will do the job. I also like the bridge and the stairs, I would not include the tomb of Ballin nor the entrance to Moria in this set, as I think the scenes there should be better with the Watcher and the Tomb something as TLG has already done. Overall great job and keep them coming.
  9. I`ll take a pic tomorrow, my battery is discharged at the moment.
  10. Nikutai Arfelan remains too.
  11. I love the size of it, the partially ruined and the nice details on it. Great selection of colors and minifigs too. I specially like the dino.
  12. Wow it is huge¡ I like the dinosaur.
  13. Phew¡ Now I know I´m not alone on the waiting for next round.
  14. Haha Recently I saw a similar about engineering. This one is better.
  15. I want to congrat rogueang too, amazing job with the index. I have just finished my building for the capital, explorer´s stable. And waiting with exciment this new round.
  16. This is going to be great¡
  17. I think some of those idea sets could really come to life, I just expect Lego to do a similar distribution of minifigs as for the fellowship, so we dont have Bilbo in every set, which would be better to dont have multiples of him, similar to what happened with POTC and POP that in every set there was the main figure. (By the way there is a thread about posting ideas for sets http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=63804) but surely with so many threads sometimes we misspassed them. So for the next 2 years we could expect perhaps 7 sets per wave, with that quantity it could be covered the basics for Middle Earth and the movies.
  18. A nice sober design, I like it.
  19. I think the piece next to the torch if removed will allow what you want.
  20. I think it could be The One Ring piece just in other color.
  21. It would make sense, since the Monster line has a much simplier type of building. But who knows?
  22. I actually think what a real challenge would be is the Bombur minifig. I understand why people want a BP with only one faction, but you have touched a point very valuable too, if they make BP of a single faction, only US, and some countries in Europe will have them at hand, I prefer the two factions battle packs for that way, but will like for the added build, a tree, statues, or something useful for landscapping instead of the catapult or cart they usually tend to put on these sets. And for the fans a funny video on the web.
  23. I was expecting Jamie to present it, but I thank Astrid did. You have to love the elevator, that is an enormous surprise, the amount of interior detail is amazing, the pics show so many you can only stare and admire, and the video actually shows the dimensions we may have suspected about it. The size of the building is huge, am glad is that way as the town hall should be an impossing view on a city. Overall I like the pack of minifigs and the new printings, the spaceman shirt is my favorite. PS. I laughed with the amount of comments refering to Astrid, I hope Jamie shows her this thread.
  24. This was such a great event, at the end I was chearing both William and the Golem. I expect the elves as operators of the golem will return safely to its clan. And thanks for this great games.
