Dear bionicle lovers, I looked today in the dealerscatalog of my local lego dealer and I am sorry to say that lego wrote something like the beginning of the end of the bionicle saga. They wrote that it was a long story with many hero's and to make a tribute to the greatest hero's, called stars. Every of the six sets from the beginning of 2010 has a golden piece, when you collect them all you can give one of them a golden armour. As how I read it I think 2010 or 2011 will be the last year of Bionicle, so I will warn you on time.

I'm afraid it will be a disaster. It looks like it has too less building ways. I was by my local Lego dealer and I could take a look in the dealers catalog so I looked good for details and this is what I saw 8083 Hoth rebel BP; 1 trooper is more a commander and the other two are normal troopers, they have a new or different coloured (tan) hat with the new goggles from the set from this year, the vehicle is not bad, the pilot has the grey moustaced face as have the commander. 8084 well, you already saw better pictures 8085 freeco sp.; I still can't see If Anakin or someone else is inside, but the fig on the right is for 95% a Talz guy 8087 imp. fighter.; Has a tie pilot and a stormtrooper 8088 Arc fighter.; Has Kitt Fisto, A normal pilot with a new helmet, Captain Jag with a new helmet and some orange printed on his face, an astro-mech with a white body and a green head with the name R4-P44 8086 is already found over the whole internet and it looks like the set with luke's landspeeder is not for the netherlands or not for the netherlands in the first of the year. Well, a cowpack would be nice (and not that guys from Knights kingdom 1 ), 2-4 cows with a farmer and a stall or milkinstallation (where they milk the cows), a place where they make butter and cheese, an Orchard with apples and a farmer, Sheep with dog and farmer, Goats, a vegtable garden Maybe some woodland to use by the farmer, A Haystack, etc. A nice farmhouse would be fun, there are many styles in europe. Only in a small country like the Netherlands there are already 4 different styles for farms. So they maybe can make an universial farmhouse. Brickforge made in 2007/2008 cows, pigs and sheep, Although Afols already asked some years for this. After this Tlc released in 2009 cows and we get now pigs too, So I think we maybe get some sheep.

I'm going as usual. This time with two friends of mine. Last year: Many mocs, Meet and greet with Lego designers and their lines (for example Mark Stafford and Agents line), Big overpriced Intertoys lego store, Pick a brick, Legoshop @ home, Old sets, Building competitions, Duplo corner, Belville corner, Jetix music tour, Overpriced Snacksshops (so make some bread and take it with you ), Big zoo from some one at The bouwsteen, etc Someone asked what Belug was = Belgian lego users group. I saw also people from England, Germany and France.

I would call this an Epic Fail. Even If we get POTC sets in 2011, which could be nice, but apparently more expensive. It would be a good idea to made a soldiers ship for next year and a bigger pirates Island/Fort/town. An addition to the soldiers fort of this year would also be nice, or a soldiers battle pack. These strange, economics decisions are far from logical. (I hope this is not a dutchism)

A modulair zoo line with a lot of sets that could add eachother to a zoo (like the first harry potter sets) with Bears, Zebra's, Camels, Elephants etc a shop, which sells something like flowers or bike's or a real bakery (croissants and cake) or a butcher (sausages, chickenlegs) Something to eat, a restaurant (we now have the new pizzaria) or more like a little stand were you could eat something for fish or chips and Fish and Chips Oh, a postoffice would also be nice

Thank you for the nice review. 50 us dollar is (IMO) a steal for this set. They were only here for sell on shop@ home and they were around 60-70 euro I thought.

Thank you for the nice review. This one of the most wanted sets for me from agents this year, but TLC has decided to not sell this set in shops in the Netherlands as is the great set 8970 (inferno's mech). Strangely enough they let shops sell 8969 which is almost the same as 8634.

It hurts my eyes, but what a great moc!
