Thank you fot the nice review. It is now common that heads are not placed on torso's, but before 2005 it was as usual already placed on the torso.

I also known these figs as Maxi-figs. They were introduced around 1974 and became in production until 1982? They were first a great succes, But I think they became less populair after the introduction of the minifig as we know it in 1978.

What a beautifull moc! I like it very much. I love the remade groundplate with brooke and some sand alongsided it. I also like the tree with foliage very much and the treasure room is nice too.

I once filled the sink with water and put a pirate rowboat with to town citizens in the water. If you do it carefull, it floats.

Thank you! I'm also happy the dutch team won, but the game itself was not a beauty to watch. In earlier years the team tried to play a nice game, but not always won with that tactic. Now I think they look more for results, even when it's make a boring game.

I read in the Dutch newspaper "Algemeen Dagblad" this morning that the England-U.S.A. in lego is made by the German Fabian Moritz (19). He has now also made The Netherlands-Denmark. Edit: link to his page Link

I am for the Netherlands, which is quite obvious, but I saw on german tv a supporter with the same black and red lines on his face as the tribal hunter / Indian from the minifigs line. Good for a moc

Very nice! Although I'm one of the few people here that doesn't dislike clowns or is even afraid of, I'm also not a big fan of real ones, but this one is a very nice fellow. I love the hair and it's maybe also nice for women figs with curly hair. The horn is a good addition to an old early 20th century car. The face can even be used for a (sw) alien. For all clown-haters; Imangine a planet full of clowns. (evil laughter. )

@ Lego Hero: last week, when I tried to buy all minifigs, I didn't had already, I forgot the diver. But I want him too, he looks nice enough. @Natelite: I read somewhere else about the smell, and some people thought it was of the ink on the instruction inside. I found some of the pieces also a bit less quality, but I like the figs so much I will accept this. And I'm afraid Tlc don't make a new wave 1 with better quality.

When I first read about this not-knowing-what-you-get idea from the minifig packages, It was obvious the special minifigs would be populair. it was obvious, some figs would be more populair then others and some Afols With Money would buy much of some sort of figs. Also that some afols don't want to get, or get to many of some other minifigs. So it was obvious some people tried to break the code and generously give the information to the other Afols, so you can pick the minifig you want. Strangely Tlc didn't think about that. Now they heard of the great demand and the broken code, they stop with this code. I'm not an important economist, but could it not be a better idea to make the packages to see through, so you can see which figs inside and also made more figs? I think they would also be sold like warm cupcakes. (sorry, dutch saying, because I don't know the english version of it.)
