  1. MOC = My Own Creation
  2. Impressive army of minions! The carriage with the casket and the flagbearer are awesome. I like the high level of detail you put into this work! "Warhammeresque" hits the nail on the head.
  3. I didn't have a real story around that scene. I only had a very cliché-background in mind, about two noble families which are at feud with each other and therefore their children have to meet in private. My only light was the sun and my camera is that from my mobile phone. I read the tutorial you told me and I hope that I can arrange some better lightsources for my next MOC. I'm happy all of you like my vignette.
  4. Thank you Walter! I'm glad you like it. I bought nearly all my plant pieces via Pick a Brick in one go and except a few palmleafs I have none left after building this 16x16 vignette. Because I love heavy vegetation, I thought it would be worth a few Euro for my creations.
  5. I sure was, especially because the minifigures of the castle and a lot of other parts are in a very good shape, even after all these years! By the Way: I just posted my first MOC. I hope you like it and leave comments.
  6. Hello EB Members! This is my debut MOC after 20 years without LEGO, so don't be too harsh on me. I really had fun building this little vignette! Secret Meeting under the old gnarled Tree: Front View View from the Left Detail View I hope you like it!
  7. Thank you for your kind regards! I hope I can show you my first MOC soon.
  8. When I read the title "time machine" I immediatly thought of the time machine from the 1960 movie. But yours is a really fresh design, I like it very much.
  9. Awesome mechanic suit! Reminds me a little bit of this beast:
  10. WOW! The new Alastor Moody looks amazing.
  11. My Top 3 Minifigures of the 4th Series: Garden Gnome - I love the beard and the torso, but i would prefer a lantern instead of the fishing rod. Viking Warrior - Nice shield, axe, helmet and torso. I hope the beard of the series 3 Fisherman or the Garden Gnome will fit with the helmet. Musketeer - Awesome minifigure with a lot of cool parts.
  12. Amazing! I just looked through all four of your marvel threads and I am totally fascinated by your creations. Captain America, Victor Creed and War Machine are my favorites.
  13. I really hope this rumored Windmill will be part of 2011 Kingdoms Lineup. I like the already released Sets, especially the 7948 Outpost Attack and the 7952 Kingdoms Advent Calendar, but for my personal flavor there is too much focus on battle. Some smaller civilian sets would be fantastic.
  14. I really love the detailed look of the building, especially the icicled roof and the awesome walls on the ground floor. You picked a very sad but lovely fairy tale indeed.
  15. I joined the EB community today, but I read this forum for weeks and all MOCs I saw from you in this time are outstanding in every aspect. Your creations are so detailed that you have to take a closer look to actually realise they are made out of LEGO.
  16. Awesome MOC! I visited the "Haus des Meeres" a few years ago when I was in Vienna and I can say that you really catched the look of the original building. Impressive!
  17. Hello EB Members! I was a big LEGO fan in the early 80's but lost interest when I grew older. Now I have a daughter in the same age I started playing with LEGO and seeing her playing with the good old bricks, brought back my passion for this hobby. I've collected all the minifigures from the Minifigure Collections 1 and 2 and bought some smaller sets from Kingdoms, Pirates, Harry Potter and City. I even found parts of my 80's collection in the attic, including the 6080 King's Castle, but sadly most of the grey bricks turned into yellowness. By searching the internet for old instruction manuals, I somehow found this forum and browsed through the awesome MOCs you have here. Now I daily check this place for new inspirations . My favorite topics are the historical themes, especially the castle and pirates lines as well as some licensed themes like Harry Potter and maybe the upcoming PotC. I am not patient enough to build really big MOCs (and I certainly have not enough bricks for making them ) but I started to build a 16x16 vignette and I really enjoy to fill it with details. If you have any questions feel free to ask. I am looking forward to being part of this community!
