  1. When's TLG going to give us the rest of the classics? Still waiting for a Stego. And a Brachio. C'mon LEGO, give us a Brachio set with the jeep, from THAT scene. With a moulded Brachio, I'd pay a pretty penny for that, and even more.
  2. I don't know the show, as I rarely watch Netflix these days. But one of the figures looks just like director Taika Waititi. No disrespect to whom the figure is supposed to represent. Just saw photos from the set and thought the figure was a dead ringer for Waititi. 🙂
  3. My top 10 SW wish list is: (in no particular order) - New Admiral Ackbar (Return of the Jedi) - New Nien Nunb, moulded head (Return of the Jedi) - New Grogu (more along the lines of what he looked like in the Holiday Special, but with olive green skin, like Yoda) - Ahsoka Tano modelled after Rosario Dawson, with trans-white lightsabers - Aunt Beru - Squidhead - New Mon Mothma - New General Madine - Snaggletooth - Kuiil I used to have quite a long list, but luckily, with some patience TLG has delivered most of them over the years. 😄
  4. Which of the old Disney comics characters would you mostly like to see represented in a future Disney CMF set? Having gotten Goofy and Pluto (ouch, a lot more expensive than I had thought) in addition to series 1 and 2, I've now just got a few more that I feel that I need. The ones I would really like to see are: - Gyro Gearloose - Super Goof - The Duck Avenger - Apprentice Mickey - Magica de Spell - Black Pete - The Phantom Blot - One of the Beagle Boys I also wouldn't say no to a Goofy with a red sweater/black vest and a blue hat. But if TLG were to add Grandma Duck, Gladstone, Gus or others, I would still definitely buy them all... :-)
  5. You know what, you're right. Additionally, if you put his head on Chandler's blue shirt and black vest torso, that's pretty much exactly one of his outfits during his Muppet episode. 😄
  6. I'd love to see the Warriors three. Thor's universe has been lacking in terms of minifigs and sets, so I definitely think there's potential there. Odin, Frigga, Heimdall, The destroyer, frost giants, the above mentioned warriors, not to forget Sif. I'd also dig it we got Jane Foster, Erik Selvig and Darcy Lewis, but not holding out hopes for these latter ones, realistically...
  7. I already have my Mark Hamill in Empire Bespin gear ready to guest star :-D. I don´t know of any other guests that exist in minifig form as of yet…
  8. Cool, thanks Xavhyr! 😄 And about your follow-up chris6507, I haven't seen the movie yet. But if he's not all that angry, I might get by with the head I have. It's similar to the one Xavhyr has uploaded, but with a dark brown beard/moustache and eyebrows and a veeery slight smile. So, I'm looking forward to the movie, and for this reason alone, I hope he smiles at least slightly at one point...! 😆 Btw, after trying this change to MJ/Michelle there's no going back. I also swapped out her light grey hoodie with the green jacket Joyce from Stranger Things is wearing, which I think is more appropriate. Although the shirt inside the jacket should be dark grey and not red/yellow stripes, I think this is something this MJ would wear. The jacket at least should be ok as she's wearing one in the movies. Going from this...to this! :
  9. Just discovered these. And wow, these series of figures are amazing. Bravo!
  10. I really really hope the rumours are true and Muppets are indeed getting their own CMF series. It would be a longstanding dream come true. I do however think Janice might get a place here, as I think TLG will aim to get more diversity if they can.
  11. Just realised the new Friends apartments' Janice hair is the perfect hair for MJ/ Michelle Jones/Zendaya's character. Tried it too. IMO much better than what TLG has chosen for her thus far in the Spider-Man sets. Btw, does anyone have a good face replacement for Shang-Chi's Razor Fist? I've used Mr.T hair for him, which is more appropriate than the one the figure ships with IMO (without having seen the film). But struggling to find an appropriate face with the right facial hair AND an angry frown. Ideas? Very nice! Señor Scratchy is adorable, lol! I've used the golden pieces for Croc Loki's crown, but actually liking your use of the green binoculars here. Hmmm... I might have to steal that idea...if I'm allowed.. :-)
  12. I would loooooove to see the Muppets. Not sure if we can get them in a CMF series, but a set similar to Sesame Street? The scene/theatre with various characters? I'd pay a pretty penny for that.
  13. I never considered getting a tumbler, but this 40€ one is amazing! Will get it day 1 for sure. But it begs the question: Will TLG make any more minifigs from the "Dark Knight Trilogy"? I would love it if a few could turn up in the next DC CMF series. Imagine Bane, Catwoman, Ra's Al-Ghul, Gordon, Two-face, Joker and Scarecrow (despite them being in these new sets) with the detail and attention of the new Marvel CMF figures. If not, the fact that they've made these new tumblers, as well as legacy MCU sets, could perhaps mean that we may see more minifig-scale TDK sets down the line? With Batman being as popular as he is, why not make more stuff from Nolans Batverse? Heck, I'd love to see more sets from the 1989 movie too.
  14. TLG has improved most of the MCU minifigs over the years and continue to do so, though with notable exceptions. Hope this is the case for Shang-Chi as well. So hyped for it, but won't be able to see it until it catches home video as covid is so rampant at the mo. I expect them to considerably improve the Shang-Chi sets for the sequel, especially if this movie becomes a big hit. Hopefully we'll also get new versions from the first movie, like you mention here, as with the Spider-Man sets. :-)
  15. Can't wait to get Jerry Seinfeld's hair in black. Think that'll be a great, more accurate hair piece for Ian Malcolm :-D
  16. Thanks! Much appreciated. I didn't even know these existed. Now I can finally get a more decent Cap :-)!
  17. Cool! Whose legs did you use for this one? Been looking for blue legs with brown boots but never found them...
  18. What do you think the chances are that we'll get another classic Jurassic Park set in 2022? I'd love for them to finally make and release the original jeep. Plus I'd love to get Muldoon and the lawyer. (Though I admit the latter perhaps isn't as attractive for many others in an action set). I'd also love a moulded Brachio. But I'm slowly coming to realise that that'll never happen...
  19. I dig that character too, also in LEGO form. My only wish is that they'd included her glowing blue eyes on the alternate face. But I guess we can't have everything :-) I haven't seen the movie, but from the trailer, it looks like TLG didn't even try with these sets. Most of the faces seem inaccurate, and the hair and face for the guy with the blade hand is totally wrong.
  20. They got the new cms series on shelves in local stores today. Grabbed 10, got only 3 duplicates, pretty happy about that. :-) Can't feel the bags anymore due to covid rules. Will bricklink the rest as soon as local sellers put them up for sale. In person, I have to say these figures are amazing. The details are ridiculous. Now that TLG has shown what they really can do with a cmf series, I hope they step up and give us detailed figs with leg printing et.al for the main Avengers also at some point. The Scarlet Witch is great. Of course, I would've ideally wanted the crown to be dual molded, but it's no biggie. Gave her the dark red skirt from a previous version of Wanda to make it even more accurate. Didn't get Loki or Captain Carter, two of my other favourites, can't wait to get them! Wondering when Marvel cmf series 2 is out. Seeing as the MCU pours out new content continuously, isn't it a good bet that we'll get the next series pretty soon? Once a year seems like it's not often enough due to the amount of shows Marvel is making. Especially if they do only 12 figures every time. They'll have to much to cover. If they release a new series in February/March of 2022, they have Hawkeye and presumably She-Hulk to take from. Not to speak of a plethora of unused characters from previous shows. Personally, I'm hoping we'll get Agatha, Billy and Tommy, Zemo (with mask), US Agent, Moebius, Miss Minutes, Hunter B-15 and Kang down the line. One can only hope... :-)
  21. Thanks for your thoughts guys, guess I have to save up if I do want the original Trike. As ouch it's 'spensive....!
  22. Finally got Nedry, Malcolm (w.injured leg), Arnold and Hammond!! Everyone together at last, hoorayyy! :-D Here's hoping they'll do Muldoon, Gennaro and a young Wu sometime in the future. I also wouldn't mind a minifig mr.DNA, though not sure quite how they'd pull it off with the helixes. Question: Does anyone think TLG might bring back the original colour scheme for the Triceratops (with original I mean Dino Triceratops Trapper set 5885), as I'm currently looking at getting a Tric. for my collection. I like the patterns from the new one (75937 Triceratops Rampage), but not the colours, as I'd like them to be more Jurassic Park-accurate. The old one had better colours in that respect, but it's now almost prohibitively expensive on the Bricklink and Ebay. TLG did bring back the T-Rex (from the set T-rex tracker 75918) in the newer junior set (10758 T-rex breakout). So, in your expert opinions, do you think we might see the brown Triceratopses from TLG again?
  23. I'm astounded how happy one can get from getting a new minifig. Been wanting an official TLG Jack Skellington for years. Finally got it, and it's superb!!!! Wondering if there is any market for more Nightmare before Xmas minifigs beyond Jack and Sally? Would love to get him in the Santa suit, plus the Mayor, Oogie Boogie, Zero the "dog", Dr.Finklestein as well as Lock, Shock and Barrel. (This year, the TLG's been soooo good to me. Besides Jack and Sally, we also saw an updated Biker Scout as well as Cap's helmet, which have all been on my wish list for eons. And it looks like we're also getting minifigs from the original Jurassic Park - hurrah!! A good time to be an AFOL, though my wallet is not as happy. :-P ) Simply couldn't wait - grabbed a fair few blindly from the new minifigs set in my nearest toy store today. And luckily got the ones I wanted the most. But also many duplicates. Will go to a store where feeling the minifig packs is allowed on Thursday and get the rest. :-) Can't wait to get Scrooge McDuck!
  24. I love them all! Glad we’re getting them. I think they’ll sell like hotcakes and think there’s no reason not to expect a series 3. Don’t know why they waited so long with this series, perhaps they wanted a go at the Disney minidoll sets first. Like many I’m surprised they went for the b/w Mickey and Minnie, but I actually prefer this plain grey version to the ideas silver edition, as it looks more accurate. Been waiting for Nightmare before Christmas minifigs for years, and I’m SO happy!!! Though it puzzles me why Sally didn’t get plain black eyes OR big white ones, like Donald and the Cheshire cat for instance also got larger eyes than the standard lego eyes. But no biggie. The side and leg printing is so amazing for this series, hope they’ll keep it up :-). Predicting Goofy and Pluto will come in the next wave, as well as Lilo and Sleeping Beauty for continuity’s sake, Beauty and the Beast, Moana and Winnie the Pooh, to mention a few. First though, can’t wait to get hold of series 2!!! :-D
  25. Thanks, nice coverage. I'm amazed that they included Wizard of Oz in this series, although I heard that they're making a tiny cameo in the movie - I have yet to see it myself. It makes me think someone high up in TLG is a massive WoO fan, as we've now gotten more minifigs from this one movie than say Captain Marvel or Thor Ragnarok, to name a couple of recent rather major movies. If you include the two flying monkeys and the witch from the Batman Lego movie, there are now as many as 7 minifigs available from WoO. As there may not have been a proper opportunity to make a big standalone set from a movie as old as this, someone has made sure we're getting the figs, spread out over several different sets/series. If they now include the wizard of Oz himself, the good witch and a munchkin or two in a later LEGO movie set, it'll be pretty much complete. It's already outstanding as it is that we've gotten these 7 figures. The yellow base idea is awesome. Does that piece even exist in yellow? Here's hoping for more WoO figures, as well as more old movies having their characters snuck into existence this way :-)
