Hi all, This is my first topic and I would like to ask everyone to count how many Lion and Dragon minifigures you have. I was reading classic-castle and found the Crownies thread rather interesting. Comeon, let's boast how many Lions & Dragons we all have. I'll start first - 28 Lions & 23 Dragons PS: I am having Xmas holidays and have nothing to do at night, so I started this thread :D

Any reviews from Europe, since it's released there already??

I'm wondering whether PotC sets fit with classic pirates more, or with medieval Kingdoms more. The mill tower uses the same stickers walls from King's castle and Cannibal escape uses brown like Prison Tower Rescue.

Where are the 100 pages for this thread?? Awww... seems that there are not enuf fans for Kingdoms or Castle in general, what a disappointment.. Haha, just joking, maybe everyone is enjoying Xmas and New Year. There are only 4 sets for 2011, and they are small sets. I think I'll buy 4x Blacksmith, to get that blacksmith and structure; 4x ambush, to get the trees; 2-3x prison, to get the horse barding and more bricks to extend my prison tower; 2-4x mill to build up my medievel town.

I guess no one was really seeking out the minifigures set, as compared to the Kingdoms 2011. In any case, Kingdoms should have at least one more wave in 2012, because they haven't give us a Dragon Knight's castle yet. But I hope there will be 4 or more waves this time round. In the 80s & early 90s, classic castle and pirates have longer cycles. It makes the theme more valuable and complete. Another thing, they can't just give us 2 civilian sets and stop there. We want to build a whole medieval town, with medieval farms and shops. I prefer to think that the mill and blacksmith are just the beginning of a medieval civilian theme. You see, MMV is more connected to the Kingdoms theme than the 2007 Castle theme. Reason: If you look at Kingdoms Advent Calendar, you see many of MMV's minifigures and accessories reappearing. The existence of the 2 Castle soldiers appearing in MMV doesn't mean much, I would say that TLG doesn't want to reveal Kingdoms' design at Jan 2009. So, I am guessing & hoping that TLG will make Kingdoms a longer theme, with more civilian sets, maybe some TRU exclusive sets and one more 10xxx set. Seriously, I can't wait till July. My 4x (King's castle) wall needs to surround something, I can't have a magnificent castle wall without anything inside to protect. Maybe, just maybe, we shall be able to find another Trade catalogue in June 2011, that show us a Winter wave for Kingdoms. I shall spy on my regular shops for future leaks. Oh man, I'm obsessed!

I'm so happy that you guys are as happy as me. I was very surprised that as I flipped the famed retailers' catalogue, I saw 4 brand new sets for Kingdoms. So the guy who saw the mill at the Lego fair was right. Actually I secretly took a video as I flipped the pages. Will post it on YouTube and post later when I get home.

Ninjago fans! There are a few more confidential sets. I saw them in the retailers' catalogue. There's a Fire Temple, quite awesome!

No pictures yet. Among all the themes in the retailers' catalogue, PotC sets are the most pictures barren. I think the Black Pearl has a set number 4148

Dunno if anyone mentioned this. I got a chance to view the Retailers' catalogue just now and saw that most PotC sets are coming in July 2011. None of them are ships. But the Black Pearl is coming in Nov 2011. No picture for the Black Pearl yet. I'm getting so excited about PotC, hopefully they can mix well with classic pirates.
