  1. Oh, was afraid of that. Well lego has done mistakes before (at least I believe they were concidering screening time, like when they brought Boolio into a set instead for example that snaillooking guy who had considrable more screening time, or the mole from R1 who were just seen a few seconds), but at least if the character has a name and can be recognized in the movie, it's okey. But when it's like this, I just feel disapointed. But then it also really make sense why the change to Finch Dallow later. Wonder what the percental division is between generic not really existing pilot and Finch.
  2. I just wished that most lego buyers (especially parents and other relatives) were aware of BL, then we would get rid of this megablocks repetition of main characters 300 times
  3. Question: Have lego identified this figure afterwards or somebody have identified the character by any name? sw0861https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?M=sw0861#T=S&O={"ss":"SE","iconly":0}
  4. If i would have collected ST ships, probably would have gone for the Resistance transportation ship, but I don't. They should have spent 10 € more for some interior space. But still, in best case they would have done something similiar to the U-wing, which wouldn't have been enough anyway. Im not sure there will be anything more then a couple of BL purchases, but we will c!
  5. Well even if most 20-30 years old have less economical demands which are created by family life, they earn less and also my experience is that many are in the dark ages until they actually get kids and thats how they come back to lego

  7. Yeah but there have not been a non-remake since like Assault on Hoth, and they have actually repeated more of the UCS then they have unique ones. I just think it's getting silly the lack of innovation and thanx bro!
  8. lego dont have insane secondary market prices. Relatively speaking in regard of course. Just to mention art or music.
  9. So a Shuttle? If it's true that is pretty much dissapointing I must say, we never seem to get something new in terms of the larger fall UCS, but since I gonna take my parental relief rest of the year from now on and only get 80 % of my salary, it might be good not to be tempted for something that expensive
  10. Well I think there is a pretty big problem when there is no pictures and nu search function. Honestly I dont see how this site is giving a better overview then the real B&P site
  11. Oh, didn't even consider I could call today coz it's a saturday, lego customer service operate daily in some countries? Here in Sweden the operating hours is only from 9-17, monday to friday if there is no special number I cannot find.
  12. Why, have you read somewhere that they don't store old molds? Because for me there is no logic to count a new mold for something which isn't indeed new
  13. I have never tried to call in an order, but I can try on monday. Never have seen so many animal molds available though, probably order around 10-12 different ones, but the sting ray, mountainlion and the white shark was not available, so do you mean that it's possible to get those not listed on the website if you make a call?
  14. lol yes, but good work though ;) and when it comes to molded heads, the decline is even worse
  15. 4-Loms piece was not new last year, battlepack from 2017 wasnt it? Cant visualize a rebel trooper with a new mold, pls remind me which one that was?
  16. Im thinking of the possibility of another Amazon exklusive
  17. Most characters at least having has some kind of visible shoes that are not the same colour as the pants, just having plain one coloured legs just looks unsufficients realistic to me. Still cheap not to add anything. Not talking about Luke here, just in general. Well that could be an excuse to anything lacking in official lego sets, just bricklink and swap it a better suitable part of your choice, it's gonna cost more money and time then if lego did it better from the beginning
  18. I don't agree, in that case just plain sweathers and t-shirts could also be no torso printing. I actually switch all non printed parts to any printed part that could fit, thats how much I cannot stand it. I think it's more or less like with all other remakes. The young kids would wantit, since 2015 was too along ago and most of them will not simply be aware that there were a similar set in 2015, as their parents. Maybe they will lose slightly on sales from some AFOLs who usually buy remakes (but not when they are this similiar), but this they might still save in production cost, since they change the set so little.
  19. At least you got the right theme. I was in my kid lego age from late 80ies to mid 90ies and I only wished for pirates and castle, but I think I got most town/city lego, because apperantly my desires were translated to just lego after my parents explained to friends and relatives what I wanted for presents. And there was no simple way of trading and changing back then so I just got stuck with shit I didn't wanted. Atleast my father is almost like a hoarder, so I saved all my boxes and instructions from that time, so got pretty good money for them when I sold them 3-4 years ago (financing my SW lego purchases instead).
  20. You guys have commented so much lately so it has taken some time to scroll through (haven't had the time last few days to spend 1 hour on EB, but now Im done) As many of you others have said, I do think this is the best wave in some time. Would call it great though if my preferences are mid-to large location playsets, which tend not to be frequent in SW lego. But concerning that there were less remakes than normally and a decent line up of mfs, I would still call it pretty solid. Have an AT-AT but need one more, so will probably pick that one of later, together with the Razor Crest. The only set I probably will rush for is the Night Buzzard, im to eager to complete my KoR collection so probably will be a day one purchase if it doesn't look much worse when detailed picks are coming up. Also would like to wait abit and saving my money for the reveal of the new UCS/MSB. Really hope there is a location playset this time. I believe you, funny enough that the new Death Star duel came just one day after the discussion of unnecessary make-overs. They actually did change it less than they normally do, so with those few changes (what we can see atleast) a brand new packaging just seems like a waste, I doubt they took all old duel sets, open the bags changed a few pieces and threw them in a new box. I means would it have hurt to just re-release the exact same set again? Thinking about the environment too. Just beeing puzzled about this No im not saying they shouldn't have them on the shelves, just keep the same version much longer, or put back the same version of it after a few years. Not saying they never should update sets, but they could easily reduce it by 50 %. I would rather say some would buy specific, rather than some would buy anything. Still the waste majority of kids and parents just want anything star wars. They might of course have a preference, but if that one is sold out, or even not existing, they just buy something else. I think that also goes ofr most people in here. I mean it's not like I would refrain from buying anything SW lego just because there is no MSB cantina or Yavin IV base.
  21. You know what I think, most kids or adults who actually buy the sets for their kids, they just buy anything from the theme that the kids want, just something that the kid doesn't already have. Do they like lego, they like lego. Only if more or less all lego sets look like totally shit (like the TLJ broken ATST), they would go for something else. That is my experience and that is why I don't really understand why lego re-release more or less the same sets over and over again, MF, landspeeders, x-wings, battlepack speeders etc. Because if they also have some people (kids or adults doesn't matter) that want to collect new settings and vehicles, then they would sell more with at least some variety instead of the same stuff over and over again with some minor modifications. They would save money just keeping the same construction or just change the figures or colour of some pieces if that is different from one triology to another. Why redesign and waste money every each or second year on redesigns if the waste majority of the buyers have no idea and the next generation of kids would just settle with any SW related build. I just dont think it makes sense. I understand that there are developments over a ten year period but some objects just get redesigned to often. It's just seems unnecessarily.
  22. Unfortunately most kids can enjoy anything, that is why there is so incredibly many crappy childrens program
  23. I agree, worst calendar in a few years. I only appreciate holiday figures, like the white Chewie that you mention that can fit in an authentic Star wars environment, in which Star Wars setting can I display a Vader with a cardigan? Totally useless
  24. I would love a Ewok battlepacl, but like you said, it looks like it's grasped in the air
