The thing for me is Covid just affected the marvel team? Like i haven’t really heard Harry Potter team or Star Wars mention it. Like it would be one thing if it was a thing that all designers said but it seems to just be a thing said by the marvel team

So 2 interesting things 1. In a new ninjago set they have a mech riding a bike so I would expect that for ghost rider too 2. It sounds like from bricksets interview they forgot about marvels 10 year anniversary

Rumors that accessory packs were coming came out earlier but Nov 27th was when the rumors came out about what they were but this year I wouldn’t hold your breath for accessory packs for the first half of the year

I would take a look at what that account has posted previously before saying something is definitely real

Keep in mind too this could be just a custom colored hammer. I have seen these before in other colors and I would not expect avengers anniversary sets

So Avatar introduced a new bow piece where you can shoot arrows out and all I can think of is that Hawkeye (probably Kate too) using this. Maybe you can print on the arrow prices to represent trick arrows

Has the mako sub been revealed? I have seen a lot of people talk about it but I haven’t seen a picture of the vehicle yet

The previous UCS hulkbuster was put on sale multiple times before it’s retirement indicating that it did not sell well so especially at the price I think people can ask why, especially at $550 Granted there is a market for Hulkbusters which can be seen at how many hulkbusters Lego makes. But honestly this is one of the worst hulkbuster Lego has made I think if the set was actually well designed and it was priced better the conversation might be different

I think part of this has to do with what could have been. After how strong summer 2021 was plus with it being marvel’s 10 year anniversary and that not being celebrated. Like for me this is the most disappointing year of all time for Lego marvel with what could have been

I’ll put this out. Maybe the hulkbuster is a $300 set being charged a $500 price? Lego’s pricing hasn’t helped the whole debate

People like to shoot the messengers with rumors they don’t like. People forget lego loves to include a random iron man in sets He is creditable I trust him if that matters the hulk buster is probably going look much more like it’s worth $300-$350 then $500-550

Actually it gets worse. More and more stores employees are saying that they have messaged me saying it’s not selling in their stores. Maybe one or two copies at some stores but a good chunk are saying no one is buying it. Again it’s just initial reactions and not actual sales numbers but most stores seem to indicate avatar has sold better
