To me the idea of having no licensed sets is just as restricting as you might feel licensed sets are. If that makes sense.

Weirdly i'm not so much against the sets but simply minecraft itself. It's really frustrating that a game which, let's just say divides the gaming community strongly, can make it's way in to official lego sets by popularity alone. It doesn't deserve it. I don't truely believe that but I can't describe it any better. Take this for the ignorant biased opinion that it is.

I don't know aanchir, I find this a really hard post to write, not because I have fabuland love doubts or anything, but just because I don't really see why it needs to be made. I just think you've taken afol concerns of today and applied them to something irrelevant. I don't love lego because it applies to some rules we've made up.

Thanks for the update. I generated an lxf file from a bricklink inventory and it gave the 30367 brick a kind of partial r2-d2 decoration. I don't know if it's just me. Also, something in this inventory is generating an lxf file that won't load. Sorry I couldn't be more specific. It might be LDD's fault and not yours.

Maybe i'm stepping out of line here, but to me it doesn't seem like the argument is that people don't want accuracy where possible, but it all stems from fallenangel alienating everyone and causing the default opinion to turn away from him.

I always considered the first half of quest of time to be more in the spirit of the games than the movie, so not necessarily out of place.

I really like it now when each face has a few colours with an interesting design. To me, gradients have gone too far. But it's also just hit and miss, sometimes there's a great head with loads of personality, and sometimes there's clone wars heads that comprimise everything to look like the show. But as far as accessories go, I quite like the difference in detail.

My IFS had instructions in a bag with a piece of cardboard. Oddly the sails were left loose so they got a tiny bit bent at one corner. I'm not sure when you got your IFS but it would be weird if you got yours after mine and it didn't have the same thing.

From what I understand, if you misuse it, it becomes untrademarkable, or something like that. Much like photoshop has become a word that sometimes doesn't even refer to photoshop.

When you put 4095 standard in to 4460 roof tile the stud dissapears as if it were a brick or plate.
