Ok fine, let's keep the discussion serious if that is what you want! Well, then IMO they should just sell the crazy professor and his henchmen as a minifig pack along with a single time machine. And by time machine, I mean time machine and not some strange time rudder boat! That would be enough for travelling to other times and playing well. But why do/did we need this? Please enlighten me, I do not get it.

Ay come on it is weird, you gotta admit! :P Look, even I as a eurobricks user haven't got any idea as to what the heck it is all about, so why should children and their parents do? One shouldn't have to go to brickpedia to be able to figure out what a set represents, should one... Now if it was about time cruises t times that really had existed a long time ago, that would be different. But the only location that crazy team of adults and teenagers goes to is Weird-O-Town, a mash-up of all kinds of parallel universes humanity can think of. The professor is in fact a pedophile highly intelligent scientist with strange and peculiar special preferences. Okay, maybe I'm being a bit too harsh on the theme. Seriously, kudos to TLG if it was all an education programm of teaching younger children the art of interpretation... see, they do care about us, we do not mean only flesh money to them. @Sirens-of-Titan: That was a good one! Made me laugh.

No theme can ever beat the weirdness of Time Cruisers! I mean, just look at those images... Seriously, what is that? I'm actually quite interested in TLG strategy with releasing that line. Anyone here who's got a clue? I doesn't make any sense... Maybe I'll once pick up a set of BL - for the sake of awkwardness and creepy nightmares! Cheers!

Dude, you're my man! And my rock 'n' roll train... ♪♫♪ AC/DC is awesome!!
-
By all appearance Enpaz is soon branching into the Space theme! He ought not to, but those images look too promising even for him to resist... And no, I don't have any new pics, I am referring to the ones already deeplinked in this thread. Cheers!

Holy cow, that's awesome! Let's start off with the exterior. The building looks great. I love the car, it looks quite retro and is very creative! And I have to say that you did a very good job on the tree and the flower bed(s). The exterior: totally stunning! The SNOTed moving staircases are truly ingenious and look fabulous como todas partes de tu MOC! Sorry, got carried away. The plutonium storage chamber is hilarious!

A very nice little MOC! Especially if it's your first one. How did you do the cable? Is it a cut rubber band I see there? Oh no, is it from an electric lego brick? Enpaz

That's really good! Great foliage and very nice hut! And I love the intro pic, good job! Enpaz

I'd say build a small (ramshackle) shelter or shanty or cabin comparable to this one: clique-ici! in terms of size! Of course it should be much nicer in terms of quality... ... Cheer-oh!

Looks very good! The rigging (?) or whatever its called on the front (the thing made with 1x1 round bricks and a flex tube) is quite clever and "handsome". Constructive feedback: With so many sails, I personally find it would look better if you swapped the "skulled" sails with their plain red and white counterparts. So that judging from the sails it would be the BSB reborn! Enpaz

Really fantastic! The different colours are very cleverly mixed together and I love the shapes you created by combining angular plates with round ones! Also, you added loads of ingenious small details that make me really happy. You're building skills are very impressive! Your MOC actually looks like something TLG could have released as an exclusive. Man, how I'd love a "fairytale" theme with sets like your Pinnochio! Cheers!

A goat sounds fantastic! Imagine all those fairytale and fable MOCs you could do with goats... Enpaz

I'm terribly sorry then. The too made me make the false assumption. How irresponsible of you to try to trick a poor old man like that! I won't doubt your intellect ever again. IKEA and blonde babes... haha, that's a good one. So true, so true... Aaand what am I reading at the moment? A literary Advent Calendar of 24 short stories and a very good History book.

Great contest idea! Staff's really creative. I'll definitely take part in this one as I unfortunately in all probability won't get my Town Winter Building entry finished in time. Enpaz

What I like most of the new sets is definitely that awesome new plane which is, coincidentally enough, very similar to 6368 Jet Airliner from the mid-eighties. The new Canine (K9) mold with print is great too, although the previously-issued dog is a bit more classic. I still need to get that one in gray. (The Grimm) Also great is the (rather) small Space subtheme. The buggy and the space shuttle seem to be very cool. Well, the big base is also great but I'll most likely not buy it as I can already imagine the price tag! Cheers!
-
What do you mean by "pinstriped Indy"? The one in the gray suit? Because it's not actually pinstriped... Cheers!

Congrats to prateek, EB's first Arch Duke!

Go prateek go! 8000 posts are seriously much... -
Great job on the cupcake! What parts did you use for it? How in hell did you manage to create that realistic icing effect? You probably needed a lot of black round slopes, didn't you? Seriously, though, very nice photography! The scene looks really good... and somewhat vintage! Good placement of minifigs.
-
Thanks. What I like most about the MOC is the photography with those awesome vintage minifigs, to be honest! I'm not using any special camera... just an ordinary DigiCam: Canon PowerShot A590 IS The idea with Dark Tan is grand, thanks for the suggestion! I should include those parts in the order! Trans-clear doesn't look that bad in my opinion. It's just a test for realistic foam, though...

This is because I did not yet post a link! Pressing the 'enter' key made me create the topic too early. The pics arrive in 3 minutes. They are here now!

Ladies and gentlemen, today I'll present to you: Dead Men's Glory. It's my first fully-completed MOC since the sinister Dark Ages. Considering the limited selection of pieces I had at my disposal for doing this, I like it very much. I've completely run short of 1x1 tan round plates... calls for a BL order, doesn't it? Click for pictures! But let me warn you: clicking on the link takes you to a world of love and hate, rise and fall, rage and grace. Once seen it cannot be unseen! Actually not... but it does depict and evolution. A dark one! *scary expression* Comments are much appreciated! Cheers!

Didn't buy anything, but opened... 6009 Black Knight - really great set, certainly one of my favourite sets of all time now. The horse-mounted knight looks perfect and the medieval face along with the printed armor under his real armor gives him such a classic look... 8091 Republic Swamp Speeder - superb also! I'm extremely pleased with my Lego raid of today. The steering mechanism is very neat and finally, Barris Offee and my first ordinary Phase II clone are awesome.
-
I hope the issue gets resolved soon! That made me smile. :)

That does explain a lot. I was just throwing in some humble bits of humor there. Sorry if that wasn't clear! NO! I AM NOT FROM AUSTRALIA! I AM NOT PUTTING UP WITH THAT! Seriously, you wouldn't believe how often Austria gets confused with Australia. That's so annoying. "I'm from Austria" - "Oh, you're from Australia, niceee!" Cheers!
