I went there today to check on some sale prices and well.... almost every thing is out of stock for online orders.... and if you go to the stores in the coming weeks, you will find empty isles and shelf's.... bummer in a ways, but at least we know it is a hot ticket item this year, too bad when you want to build a city and need a certain set it will 95% chance not be easy to find.... I wanted to do a color change with the camper for example and well even those are hard to fine at local stores.... This is why I hate the holidays

I realy like yours, but it is based on 6 wide... I had to make my transport for 7 wide so strutting the sides would then make it 9 wide for me and well that is my major problem.... Note: smart cars (compact cars) are based on 4 wide, but the new gokart style wheels makes them a hair under 5 wide.... I wish they did not stick out like they did, but I do not plan on putting the old style wheels on them any time soon to narrow the truck.... I did however like the complexity of the 7 wide build... was rewarding in the end for me keep bricking.... stay tuned. I have a upgrade in the plans for this later

yup even seen that the other day..... the mother was in the isle scratching her head looking at the three sets.... then she just grabbed the higher piece count one and set it on top of her megasucks Halo box..... Almost slapped her with a holiday micro lego bag in her face for that Sacrilege !!!!!!

if my calculations are correct this will take one full and five quarter base plates to complete the field. If this is so the the stadium may take twelve full base plates.... Holy cow that is a total of thirteen full and five quarter base plates.... If he completes this with major details and keep it correct, it may contain over 15-20 thousand bricks I will be forever impressed for this build if it is completed.... Wow 40 inches by 40 inches of building (not including the parking lot) keep bricking... this one is going to be interesting to say the least

I was working with what I had to use.... Trust me, in do time this rig will look as if it came out of a box or better... Those hinges that I have used are locking type. the others that I have tried have sagged and dropped and when I installed a lock stud it would tweak on the chassis rails and create a failure point... It may not look as clean as yours, but this can handle an 8 year old childs hands and not break too easy... As for the rear wheels, again I was going with the low boy bed... here in the states to move trains and heavy equipment on the highways they use a trailer with six duely axles in the back with small 15 inch wheels rated for high loads... it just keeps the bed as low to the ground as possible

That could be a problem up hills... or it could be like the Miami Vise movie....LOL All them cars just keep falling into traffic for a whole mile here it is with six compact cars and a MOC car.... seven total.... If I flush the bumpers and cram one more in it would take eight. I need more colors if you ask me... may make a blue one tonight PS... five cars came with a minifigure with brown hair... one came with black hair.... WTF?

hey I had the cash and I had the want..... if you cant put the cash on the roulette table, dont spin the wheel.... I just needed body parts my self... but the rares are a nice plus. dont get me wrong, if it was only one box on the counter I would have just got a handful. There was three boxes and well, it was on in my book.... when I picked them up the last time I took only 2 bags.... Because they only had 8 left.... But I do not hold respect for clueless parents that have no clue what they are buying. I know what I want and go there with a plan to get it. Take today for instance, in the lego area of TRU and having to watch parents looking at boxes of legos and megablocks and betterblocks (yes some had them all in the same cart as well....Ick!) and trying to figure out what they should get from box art alone.... At the same time I wish every one played with legos, but parents should listen better to their kids and buy the set that fits the bill for the child. Needless to say I popped out the credit card today and ordered a box finally...Shipping was a killer but Ebay will cure the over head on that one later when I sell off a buch of the commons in 4 months when they are hard to find.. Ya I may be greedy, but ethics only hold ya back and being that you only live once, Take advantage of the time and options you have in front of you... (live this way makes you a happy person in the end... But live the kind and giving way and you will just count your losses in the end and be unhappy)

went to TRU today to buy a box and they said no, only five per person..... I then asked if I could just walk out and come back in like 20 time and again he said no.... WTF?! thats total BS in my world, Money talks not ethics of some non lego person buying a lego product for his kid because it cost next to nothing.... leave that box to people that want to buy them for a reason... to collect them all.... I had enuff to buy the whole box and even slammed it on the counter with even a bribe and nothing... what is this world coming to?

But, wouldn't you know today, I drove by a real car hauler and it was almost right on... the difference was that the car that was over the fifth wheel (hitch) was parallel with the top rail... But I do like the latest version, so it stays like that.... By the way I picked up three more compact cars today... building the last one in a couple minutes.... making dinner out weighs legos I guess

either rewire the switch......or buy power functions...... also check out LED kits at hobby stores(non lego, but after a bit of work, your will pull it off)

Every large set in the last 6 months I purchased did not have that deal... I hate when the instructions come out rolled up on one corner and makes it hard to lay them flat... case in point, the City service station.... the main book was huge and well the book was bent right in half.... even after I took it into the bathroom and set it down close to the shower as I took one to get the book a bit damp and then placed it in the sun under four paper weights it still wanted to lift as I was finally assembling the set.... I too agree with this forum, I would like to see the instructions flatter and packed nicer as well....

series 4 mini figgs have side play legs it seems.... I know this looks like it is a computer aided pic, but it would be cool if that is the case and the legs will have more side play for better lay out for action scenes

here is a great idea.... someplace for a casino..... That would be bad to the bone... A biker shop would be cool... but with the older bikes from the 1980's.... small enuff that you could fit a good 8 to 10 in the front window to make it look real busy

Update: Yes I do believe this is as close to the real thing as you can get (in the USA Style) It now can fit up to 8 cars.... yep!

As for the cars width, I made the transport for the "Compact cars" (smart cars) primarily On a note to the others that gave ideas, I did take note... But I built it with what I had to use other then making it a rainbow trailer... I was going to use more tech parts, but Did not have the amount I needed... Also, that would make the trailer over 9 wide and every one knows that lego roads only allow 7 wide max...unless you make the wide load stickers... Then again, I never have seen a wide load car transport... I was going to make the transport with a mid ramp but got stuck with what I had made because it would have made a binding point on the lower deck..... I do plan on five more compact cars on the 15th of December... so stay tuned As it is like it is.... Keep bricking every one thanks again for the comments
