This was a good review! The shoulders are a bit wonky, but the design is actually really cohesive for the most part, and I love the legs. They have that deer hind leg look to them. I know they might not be everyone's cup of tea and they are a bit gappy, but they personally don't bother me. I mean, to me it just solidifies his place as a mechanical freak of nature. XD

I think all of the sets look really good... all except Ketar and Pohatu. I don't know what LEGO was thinking, but THREE different shades of brown is just... no. Never do that again. Choose a brown and stick with it, because otherwise one of the browns begins looking like it belongs in the toilet...

Nice review. I think Tahu's going to be my favorite. He just looks so... godly. :D I'm also happy about that new Technic piece. Ball and socket can get old when its all you're doing for years and years, and I like a little bit more complexity when building from time to time. I don't think that the leg coverage is all that much of a problem, I think that the new Technic piece and Skull add-on pauldrons look cool on Tahu, but to each their own. The 2016 Tahu fixes every issue I had with the 2015 Tahu. His arms were difficult to pose and play with because the shoulder pads would get in the way and go all over the place and I'd just have to pose them back constanty, not to mention the back swords would move all over the place. His mask is also an improvement, as it looks more gruff and angry like it did back in 2001. The vents also stand out better. Finally, the swords aren't so freaking giant, there aren't exposed torso ball joints, there isn't a big gap in between the arms and the torso that was only filled in with a black technic piece that was used to connect his sword holsters, and his lower legs aren't colliding and making posing hard and awkward due to having bell-bottoms.

I prefer the more detailed look. Smooth and sleek just looks boring to me, I like intricacy and depth. Think of it this way: you got the type of sets you wanted this year, I get the type of sets I want next year. Equality.

That's assuming everyone into constraction will buy the Star Wars sets which isn't true at all. Some will only buy BIONICLE, and using the Star Wars sets as justification not to give BIONICLE more sets is just wrong. That's like deciding to shorten the amount of sets Ninjago gets because there are other system sets. Different themes attract different customers and no customer should have to suffer a smaller amount of sets just because there is another theme using similar parts. Your wallet should not dictate what others can and cannot get. :P

I'm just going to say that lava appears to already be a subcategory of fire. Tahu literally manipulates and controls lava in the animations before rescuing the PoF. Just pointing that out, he didn't need the help of any other element to create a giant spout of lava. :P Edit: I'd also like to mention that Onua already creates earthquakes and fissures as well. I'm pretty sure the beast names are either fluff or are meant to represent the elements in their most unyielding and primal forms.

Sounds like misinformation and assumptions are spreading. The animations ARE a weekly thing. They are released on the LEGO YouTube channel every MONDAY, just as LEGO had said it would in the video description of said animations. The animations that have been coming out early on Friday for the past two weeks or so on the BIONICLE site were not meant to be seen at that specific date and if memory recalls, they were hidden to anyone navigating the site like a normal human being. I just wanted to clear this up.

Since the new chest armor add-ons won't have printing, I wonder if they'll have some sort of design molded in? If so... what would it be? I mean, I guess they could leave it plain, but that would be BORING.

I'm probably going to turn my current Toa into parts, and then display the 2016 Toa, because it sounds like they'll look more aesthetically pleasing. I'm also happy about them getting new masks. Tahu's current mask is so.. square, and the eyes. Ugh, the eyes are very meh. An update is much appreciated. XD

Posting leaked content on a site affiliated with LEGO could harm the site, LEGO, and the person. It's best to find an obscure forum or a trusty scapegoat to distribute the pictures so the sites reputation isn't hurt. That's how leak outbreaks are found most of the time. BIONICLE fans have a knack for looking in obscure places to find information anyway.

I'm not sure if its been asked but how does Onua's mask look now? Is it sleeker like his '01 mask or..? Also, I can't remember if I ever got an answer to this one, but does Lewa get a more dome shaped mask and retain his trademarked smile? More importantly though... The scorpion has good looking tail... right? I hope its a yes...

OH! Okay cool. Does she seem to have a secondary function like an adrenaline mode of some sorts? Also, can you give me a slight idea on what the creature heads might look like?

Hook scythes would be pretty sweet too. I imagine a lot of serrated teeth on the top and a wicked wavy curve.

I'd actually be more curious about Gali's weapon myself. I don't see what they would replace the battle ax or harpoon with, or even what they'd do with Pohatu and his boomerangs. It's easy to know what Tahu and Lewa would get though, they probably get swords of some kind because, they like swords. :P

I'll only ask a few more questions and then I think I'll be done. Thank you for spending your time answering these questions. You're quite kind. The rest of my concerns: 1.What's the color scheme of the scorpion? 2.Is Pohatu's new mask still like Photok's or is it more akin to his original Mata mask now? 3.Are the Toa different enough compared to their 2015 counterparts to justify purchasing all of them all? 4.Is it possible for Kopaka to slide on his shield? 5.Is Umarak Toa sized or Titan sized? On an unrelated note, someone asked if you were "Illumakuta". XD

Thank you very much! On the subject of the Toa, what do you mean by more basic color schemes? Are they not as bright and flashy or are they super consistent? Also, does Tahu keep his bell-bottoms and weird movable golden sword wings? Those are things I've been hoping would disappear. Edit: And is Lewa still a wrinkle face? XD
