I walked past where they keep the discount lego in a supermarket, and found Ultimate Macy (70331) there. I wanted to buy the set before, then decided that maybe not, now there was a slight discount so I got it. Yay, I get to play with lego today, I thought... But I opened it and found that there's just too much stuff for a monday like this one. I think I have time for Macy and the Fortrex+Library which I got months ago... sometime next week when I have less to do, yeah.

I might if I ever happen by them, then again I might not because it's been few years since books last time and I had forgotten what this story does to me in the end. Got them watched now and I'd stomp around rambling and ranting how that wasn't like this... but I'm too busy being miserable about it. :'D And I was going to be all happy having watched movies and rewatch them while they are available and learn all the awesome quotes and watch all my favorite scenes and... I'm not crying! Maybe in ten years or so. Yeah...

The Lord of the Rings movies, they showed them on TV in here and it is currently on their online service. I have watched the first and in middle of the second. I may be nitpicking things slightly or maybe just a tiny bit more than that (books! BOOOKS!!!) while I watch... although they are very pretty.

I have been building the Temple of Airjitzu for the last few weeks... or more like neglecting it. Shameful. It's currently in two different rooms because I needed some of it out of the way.

I wanted to buy Skyrim and Tabletop Simulator for the second time because I think these kind of things are awesome ideas. But Skyrim was not cheap enough so I could not bother and then I was broke anyway so that was a good thing. The sale wasn't very interesting either since no more daily deals. Instead I looked at the games I already have and thought: "hey, I'll try that Civilization V I bought about four years ago" ...and now I don't feel like I need more games at this time. Just... few... more... turns. So I'm looking forward to the next sale.

I realized only within the last week or so that a minifigure's hand is a stud. After a year of elves sets.

I say Disney, as in not Princess. I read back few pages and saw a mention of Atlantis. Brilliant! My dream is Treasure Planet. I can't think of sets about it so much... other than the ship. There's a spaceship I would buy.

6253 Shipwreck Hideout. I randomly saw that in an ad and decided immediately that I had to have it. Which happened the same day. A building. A bridge. The girl! It was love at first sight. Then I collected all the other pirates sets, then other random sets from other themes... After 2010 I wandered off, until more pirates. It is my truest love.

No, that's the Friends steampunk subtheme... (from where my elves would commandeer all the airships)

Something along the lines of Paradisa that is not Friends/minidolls. :( I would buy all the sets with horses, those were my dream. And then, steampunk.

The four new Elves sets shall be mine. I got my previous order, the Doctor Who set (21304). Bringing along with it the little fountain (40221). As reinforcements...?

I built the three earlier dragons recently. They went to shelf right after so I don't have all that much. Some thoughts from when I was building: Starting with the water dragon I was quite impressed with it after I was done. Next the fire dragon, which then disappointed me with less posing possibilities. I'm planning to take away the second wing connectors so I can at least turn the wings around more, but the neck also is very limited in movement. I like that this one is bigger than the others. Earth dragon... no separate neck piece and not as awesome tail. Also two wing connectors again but that can be fixed. I'd modify them but I don't have the pieces. I'd take out the saddles and do something about the joints where I feel they don't move enough. I maybe wish that the grey pieces were black... But I'm not entirely sure about this yet. I do like them now that I built them and played with them a tiny bit, I didn't really expect that. Looking forward to the last two dragons, I'll be getting them soon-ish. And also looking forward to where this theme goes next even if it's starting to get bit overwhelming for me. I expected only two sets this summer, like last year, whew... I haven't looked at the show very much yet but these sets are so pretty.

I'm part hoping it's... something else since I was looking forward finally relaxing and enjoying my up to date collection for a while which is why I have been rushing to get them all. (Not there yet) This looked like such adorable small theme this time last year... I'm just so new to this all.

I saw the live action Alice in Wonderland. Mentioned to me by someone before, I was kind of dismissing it due to silliness, and not being familiar with the source material and I didn't like the Disney's animated one very much. So how did this happen? The one previous to that was the recent Alice Through the Looking Glass I went to see as I had an expiring ticket and my other options would've been been... no, just no. I was pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere and the prettiness and some time later when deciding on a movie on another event I gravitated towards Wonderland rather than the usual action movie. I enjoyed those cute movies. And got to admit to someone that they did tell me so!

I was going to get a ton of stuff done today, but after a LEGO disappointment I went to investigate other toys and so far I have found five catgirls in the Monster High doll franchise. So that's good, right? And now it's late already so I don't have to rearrange a bunch of sets today anymore... Uhhh it was pretty necessary to do some computer stuff too... I think I'm gonna go find a Monster High desktop wallpaper.
