well, yes :) look at the names of my cities: Ust Natha, Menzoberranzan, Ched Nasad, Twisted Tower of Ashaba etc ;) My Drow moc started long before GoF, and my main inspiration was my most favorite game - Baldur's Gate (1&2:) If you go to my brickshelf account, you will see a lot of minifigs" folders, full of AD&D creatures (look, it is a beholder in my sign:)).First game that I've made was insiprated by "Mazes and Monsters" (read: "dungeons and dragons:)) film with Tom Hanks ;) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f-7vw_pT9tM&feature=player_embedded#!

Drow were thinking they could pay few of the guys from other guilds to settle in Nocturnus, but we all know that we would finish hunting them at the end, and we do not want to spend money like that - we should start hunting them immediately :) By the way, guilds of historica made me a lot of new friends with same interest in medieval fantasy and lego, and some of those guys helped me got my hands on a lot of bricks ;) Also, involving in here made me build more then I usually would. And I also like to compete, even do I haven't won anything (yet, hehe:) I so much enjoy the competition and challenges. I loved the competition in arena, even though it was totally random:) So, I hope it will continue ;)

well... Destruction does not have to be massive... it also does not have to be physical... Or, elemental can be born in the forest, so you two could show that - making of the elemental. I remember some PERFECT water elementals that you made for some moc, near the waterfall, a feast or something. And, not all elementals are bad - I suppose it depend on the summoner ;) Or, an elemental could be independent (living) being. A bird, or a bee, just add fire or water, or mud or electricity. A tree, rocks as a part of a hill, vines, flower elemental, etc. And it does not have to 48x48, it can be 12x12if you wish it, so it would consume less time. A births of elemental dragon (brass, gold, or blue (water, you know the drill:) so, there is no excuse for not being one of the challengers in challenge 4 ;) And Drow will wipe the floor with Avalonians in this challenge, and if none from this guild enters, it will be a hollow victory ;) But it will be a victory, drow or nocturnus will triumph on challenge 4! ;)

So, my dear guildsman, what are you cooking for the challenge 4? I do not see any teasers ;) And the Drow are presenting the city of Waterdeep, an old coastal watchtower, with two elementals, magma (fire) and water. It will be between 1 and 2 m high, on a 48x48 baseplate. But no pictures ;) There will be A LOT of water, at least ten waterfalls, same amount of ponds, some creeks, streams, in one word, a lot of water :) But, with all that water, the thing I like the most is a stone work (and not rocks, but stone of the buildings. I have only 11 more days + 1 for photographing and removal of the background. Not enough :) But, it never is, isn't it? :) I will give you one teaser, and that are tentacles of the water elemental (only small part:). The round building to the left is a part of the scenery, but not nearly finished

Ahahaha :) checkout my "Waterdeep" (for challenge 4) Same concept (different construction), all in all, great minds think the same (notice how I noted that I have a great mind in a single sentence, on somebody else's moc?:)) Kidding aside, great concept and presentation, I love big mocs with water

Yup, mine too ...but, as every villain, she is gone right? Ahaha I just remembered one episode from StarTrek Voyager, they are playing something in holodeck, have trouble, bla bla, at the end, they win taking care of the bad guy. And the game closes with "The End?" In other words, you can do practically anything you want My new character, for example, is going to rule the world. If she can not, she will burn it to the ground, if anything is left after the elemental mayhem (but I have with good authority that elementals will attack Drow cities also, so... we will see what will happen;) In short, let your imagination go wild :) If anybody has a problem with what you are building, you come to me, and we will squash their city, as an example <--- this goes only if you are not some good-doer, in that case, better stay out of drow lands (and all lands are Drow lands :) You confused us with vampires ;) And our great minds invented perfect protection from sun - umbrellas ;) So be afraid, be very afraid of a fashion strike from Drow with an umbrella - If you do not believe me, and watch "Resident Evil" and you will see that the world was destroyed with umbrella :P :) Btw, boys and girls, how are you progressing with challenge 4?

Storm is the girl I am looking forward to, especially if it is a Halle Berry version (darker face, white eyes) I would also love that sparkly girl, made out of diamons (that looks so hot in a last movie:)

so, at the end, we did get everithing I said (more or less:) ;) black face (she-robot), wings, the only thing missing is tiara ;) ...who knows, maybe isn series 9? My favorite - man-bat; monster-fighters sets were to expencive for me, minifigs on bricklink also; and I do like this black one more ;) nothing's change, TLG is going in the directon they set a year before, and I like it ;)

wait,I am in Europe (Serbia), and we hade lotr sets for quite a while now, I would say more then two months? maybe even longer... the price is another subject...
