Fabulous warrior beauty contest Fabulous warrior beauty contest Gather here and gather all! Welcome to the annual Drow Warrior Beauty Contest! Come and behold beauty of the warrior angels from all around Historica! YOU CAN ENTER YOU HEROINE NOW just by posting her picture in this thread :) Contest will be held later in September, so take your time (we decided to move the deadline because of the holidays (Drinking and hunting holiday for the Drow, or "Days of Lloth joy") in the glorious city of Drow, Guallidurth All can enter, old, new and future members of Historica (i.e. whole Eurobricks can enter:). Please enlist your beautiful female warrior by posting her picture (preferably in armor, mage armor, or anything else she likes to wear when she goes on hunting, warmongering, village pillaging, hero questing, just adventuring or justice enforcing days :) Fearsome eyes with lovely curves of muscles, power, grace, strength, stamina, style, everything what makes heroine a heroine. Note that beauty is not universal, and orcs for example have different opinion on what is beautifull :) Also note that if you do not have any female faces - that is not a problem - use any minifig face, and imagination :) Dwarfs are bound to give some extra points to the bearded ladies :) Girl can do a litlle showof - some skil with blades, poetry, yodling, whatever she can do and impress :) Rules: - post a picture of your FEMALE warrior (mage, scout, druid, assassin, lady, knight, queen, demon, mermaid, what ever you like:) and name her. A history or a poem of previous quests is something greatly appreciated (but not necessary:) - anyone from Eurobriks can be part of this contest, not just Historica members, but it would be great if you would enlist in one of the guilds:) Guildleaders can (and must:) also participate. The only one who will not participate are Drow under my rulership, because they are the most beautiful of all the beautiful races, and others would not have chance :) - at least 20 of contestants must enter if contest is to be held Winner: Winner will be randomly pulled using this analogy: I will ask/scare into/bribe/blackmail/sweet talk moderators, admins and similar beings from all other Eurobrick themes who did not participate, and each one will get a pair to roll dices for (similar as in arena:) The winner will go to the next round, and so on until there is only one left. It will be totally random :) So everybody have equal chance Prizes: - "Goddess of beauty" title (if you want it:)))) - some amount of gold darics for the guild - a 20 6x5 white leaves from the tree from Waterdeep - one sealed bag of Darth Maul shirtless promo minifig - a BrickTW set in red including hair, armor, weapon and shield in red, and helmet and bow in trans red :) - and maybe something else, we will see ;) So! Come to the Guallidurth and show us the beauty of your Warriors! ahahaha well :) it is a well know fact that Drow, living in dark, do not see so good :) I;ve missed that good, if I do not get bored with it (honestly:) I will make thumbnails for all ;)

well, we could share the work ;) One could find all the mocs, second could code them, third could resize the pictures, the fourth one could write the comments? :) or, two people per team to do every one of this things ;) Any volunteers? :) The people from guilds could also agree among each others and highlight few of the mocs that they find extra special, so the people who are not from Historica could enjoy them without searching

I'm just reading the first page of Historica Guilds and there are SO MANY of great mocs there - and then I've started to remember all the moc that were before, and how many really incredible mocs have this little game of ours made ;) We need an index page, with thumbnails :) And it should be time chronology better then per guild chronology :) And if someone has some free time, a few words about the moc from the mocs thread ;)

I do not think that is a good idea, that puts guildleaders in position where they have to explain every decision and score, if they be leaders, let them be that all the way, and we will have to trust their wisdom and ...I am searching for the word, when you are not bias :) ah, "nepristrastnost" on my language :) In any way, the point of the guilds should be playing, building, making fun (pillaging Avalonian villages is SO fun, you should try it:))), and I think that strict scoring system would ruin that. Evidently, the highest scoring guild is the most active one, and the lowest is the best one (heh:) ok, the least active one. So, activity in: making fun, merrymaking, building, presentation, inventing stories and events (like arena, archery, political advertising, song writing, commerce and similar) are the thing that actually bring points. So, if you want your guild to prosper, make an assassination point on your guild leader (instant-Nocturnus:)), make some type of game, discover new area/race/artifact, write a story, adventure, have a baby (there are NO new babies in Historica!!:))), make a war/friendship act/ bounty hunting trip and keep on doing that until your guild is in lead ;) Scoring should stay privilege for the guildleaders. It is ok to replace guildleaders if you have an antagonist capable enough and army strong enough :)

you'll have to pay a lot ;) and some time in the mines. but not a lot, a year or two, it will fly ;) and then the slave girls, but more about that later ...do you have any gold? magical items? dwarven alcohol? tickets for the nex games in the arena?:) and you have to enslave fellow avalonian :P

nope, it's summer, and nobody likes summer in Nocturnus - and we all mitigate to the sea, where the best parties are held by lizardmen from labyrinth - and who can build with all those magic coctails and slaves dancing around?:) Nocturnus needs a boost of somekind, and the only thing the Drow can think of is to conquer it all, and start rebuilding from the scratch :)

Beauty IS terror to every Drow :) Just imagine the hell that Drow fire angel is going trough: spring time, trees are blossoming, birds are singing happy, calming sound of waterfall and good mood allaround - oh, a horror. I think Drow from this outpost are actually happy that elemental attack occured :) And about the action, that Drow playing cards is doing some serious action with those aces ;) And about tall-nes - I am not that tall (184cm), but I do use a chair here and there ;) In this castle cloud can be detached, so it is easy to put it on withouth a chair. About the price - all 1x1 and 1x2 trans clear are from two PaB cups that I acquired trough friends from Historica - 15$ each + something more for the shipping. So, not hundreds of dollars, less then 50 :) And I haven't even used them all :) All other trans 1x1 are acquired trough the same way About the scale: here are few pictures with my little helper; she is 180 cm tall at this moment she said: "ok, enough of possing, can I play a little?" and "This cloud could be better, let me show you" :) I think I've been blessed (like you said, Siercon & Coral), because she does not like lego so much, but she always buys me sets for birthdays, new years and similar occasions; and when the deadlines are close, she helps a lot. Even though our converstion goes like this: She: "Ivan, what are you doing?" "I am looking at girls on the internet" "No, you are not, you are looking at lego, admit it" :))) with new pictures, if someone wants to change the height guess, go ahead :) btw, if two of you guess, you will not split the prize, you will both get full amount ;)

Thank you, dear friends ;) I must say that this castle would not exist if it were not for the historica members whom helped me buy trans bricks via PaBs Also, I will build in large scale again only when I have enough bricks for such diversity in landscaping and nature. until then, plain red walls - nope, never again ;) Next thing I will build will be a large chunk of rocks with tree (or castle or temple or all above:) on to of it, in a lake, with a bunch of waterfalls falling from it (that chunk of rock will be mushroom shaped) And today, when my little helper comes, I will make a video, and a picture of her standing near the castle, so you can get a sense how tall it is (actually, I was not going for heights, and I reduced it height for more then 50 cm, because it was not looking naturally check out a bunch of "construction" photos in Construction album, when moderated, there is a lots of stuff in there:
