  1. Here, from page 11 of this thread. Hard to say whether the head is printed or not, but I suppose the eyes will be - that has been the trend with new animals, hasn't it? What is clear even now is that the bear is a completely new mold, not a recolour of the ice bear.
  2. I find it funnier that it says "Ages: 6+" on a wedding cake decoration Based on the pictures in the blog the dress looks kinda stupid from behind with the cheese slopes and whatnot, and I'm not a fan of so markedly narrowed hips either. But still the figure is good enough that I'm certainly hoping it won't be too expensive on Bricklink.
  3. Admittedly it's a misprint and only the slope piece and not the whole dress, but shouldn't you also acknowledge the existence of red trimmed variant of Governor's Daughter's dress?
  4. The trees are built with a new 2x2 round plate with arms up on four sides - nice!
  5. I admit I was probably too harsh when I described all the new animal molds as "quite useless" or something like that. It's a bit hard to remember that these really are in quite a good scale with normal minifigure world. As such, especially the bunny might be actually quite passable, much more than the comparatively huge Belville one with printed eyelashes. According to some earlier rumour (probably from Mirandir?) the horse is a new mold with a removable 2x2 part like this instead of the normal 1x2 brick. I wonder what the saddle will look like - is there really none in this wave?
  6. The Black Pearl is coming already in 2011 and we've known of it more or less as long as of the other sets of the PotC theme, so it doesn't really count, as the question was about 2012 releases. But this is first I've heard of any "big new exciting set" in HP theme? I'm pretty certain there hasn't been any such buzz in Eurobricks, at least.
  7. Wow, a bunch of very good-looking sets - has TLC finally got it right? I really think this theme could be a big seller among the target group and even outside of it. It looks so much better than Belville. AFOLs will never forgive the abnormal cutiefigs, of course, but there's much for us too. A lot of new molds for example. It's a shame that all the animals (except butterflies?) will be quite useless, but it was already known from the earlier Asian leak. On the other hand, there seems to be some new flower molds (or maybe old Scala ones, never seen those in real life?), and all in all I'm happily surprised by the amount of greenery in the sets. My favourite set is 3315, but 3065 is close behind. 3933 is great in that it goes against the "Girly theme" stereotypes, but personally I don't find much that would interest me in it - I'm a Castle sort of guy, after all. It's quite clear that TLC is really pushing for this theme, just looking at the amount of sets etc. Come next year, I'm sure these will be found in more or less every shop that sells Lego (and maybe some that didn't).
  8. I think it looks to be quite well in scale with the minifigs, bears are bloody big, after all. It may look a bit large compared to Lego horses, though. It's probably nearly as tall (at withers) when walking on four legs.
  9. Wow, that looks great! The front legs do not seem to be movable, but even just the hind legs give the bear some nice posability. And a big-ish(?) tree and rocks - I may become a temporary City collector next year! Just have to sell all the accompanying policemen and criminals to some kiddo.
  10. I don't think the Forestmen are a viable option as long as current Lion and Dragon Knights are going on, as the Dragon faction has reserved the green colour-scheme for themselves, and they have even been seen doing highway robbery. Of course they haven't clearly understood that you should rob only the rich and give to the poor, but still it would be too redundant. Someday I would like to see a new forestmen subtheme, but their time is not now. One subtheme I would like to see would be some barbaric seafaring northmen, new less-wacky version vikings, robbing the fertile coast of the Lion Kingdom. Sailing and ships have always been underrepresented in Lego Castle. This could also continue Lego's attention to civilian side of medieval world - besides the longboat loaded with warriors and the Lion Knight warship, there could also be a small civial fishing boat and a bigger merchant cogg. A nigh impossible pipe dream? By no doubt. But now at least could be a could time for such a wave, if PotC will not continue in 2012 and before the normal Pirates are revived.
  11. But do you know more than the rest of us? It is true that the there was no Heroica sets listed in All About Brick's rumour list, which seems to have been confirmed true by the same games appearing in Spielwaren-lippe website (LEGO SPIELE Mini-Taurus, LEGO SPIELE CITY Alarm, LEGO SPIELE Kokoriko). It is possible (if not probable) that these rumours and leaks simply omit Heroica, which is somewhat in a category of its own among the Lego games. More importantly, all these games are very probably January releases, and there's still the whole summer wave that we know next to nothing about. Regarding the latter half of 2012, Elsbuck, Seldaan and Barresh mentioned in an official S@H description are much stronger clues than most other themes can boast about.
  12. There's also an earlier topic on the Heroica Storage Box. But this official description, which I hadn't seen before, seems to confirm that the three locations mentioned on the borders of the map should most probably be upcoming sets. Awesome!
  13. Close enough! Shouldn't have trusted on Google Translate on that one, but when should you trust Google Translate anyway? But who bakes in a garden either? Well, apparently Stephanie. Yeah, I'm obviously hoping that the theme is somewhat minifig-compatible (except the cutiefigs) too. Though sadly at least the animal molds, judging by the earlier leak, seem to be seriously incompatible with normal style of Lego animals - even more so than many of the Belville ones. Maybe the buildings and food and so on are better...
  14. Probably not that much interest on Duplo Princess here, but posting the set list nevertheless, coming from a web site http://www.spielwaren-lippe.de, first discovered (at least on Eurobricks) by Mesonak here. LEGO DUPLO PRINCESS Schneewittch. Hütte [snow White's Hut] 14,01 € LEGO DUPLO PRINCESS Dornröschens Schlafgemach [sleeping Beauty's Sleeping Chamber] 12,14 € LEGO DUPLO PRINCESS Aschenputtels Prinzessinnenkutsche [Cinderella's Princess Carriage] 23,36 € LEGO DUPLO PRINCESS Aschenputtels Märchennschloss [Cinderella's Fairytale Castle] 46,72 €
  15. Strange. Oh well, you can always go to the main page http://www.spielwaren-lippe.de and type "Friends" to the search. :)
  16. If you had searched for Ninjago on the site, you would have ended with only 35 results ;) In original German: LEGO NINJAGO Jays Donner-Jet Gewicht: 0.425 kg 18,58 € LEGO NINJAGO Schrein der Venomari Gewicht: 0.113 kg 7,32 € LEGO NINJAGO Lasha Gewicht: 0.104 kg 9,20 € LEGO NINJAGO Fang-Suei Gewicht: 0.102 kg 9,20 € LEGO NINJAGO Kais Feuer-Bike Gewicht: 0.28 kg 13,85 € LEGO NINJAGO Samurai Gewicht: 0.102 kg 9,20 € LEGO NINJAGO Ninja-Flugsegler Gewicht: 0.001315 kg 74,34 € LEGO NINJAGO Coles Tarn-Buggy Gewicht: 0.62 kg 32,52 € LEGO NINJAGO Snappa Gewicht: 0.103 kg 9,20 € LEGO NINJAGO Starter Set Gewicht: 0.202 kg 18,58 € LEGO NINJAGO Schlangen-Quad Gewicht: 0.892 kg 46,46 € LEGO NINJAGO Rattlecopter Gewicht: 0.426 kg 27,87 € LEGO NINJAGO Training Set Gewicht: 0.331 kg 18,58 € LEGO NINJAGO Kendo Zane Gewicht: 0.104 kg 9,20 € LEGO NINJAGO Fire Ninja Kai Gewicht: 0.102 kg 9,20 €
  17. I seem to recall that there was some set listing posted on this thread already, but I didn't bother to comb through all the pages. Anyway, Mesonak posted a set list of upcoming Dino theme here. It is from some German toy shop. The same shop also lists other 2012 sets, like LEGO Friends (someone else is probably typing this same list at the moment): LEGO FRIENDS Tierklinik [Animal Clinic] Gewicht: 0.759 kg 37,06 € LEGO FRIENDS Schönheitssalon [beauty Saloon] Gewicht: 0.434 kg 23,16 € LEGO FRIENDS Traumhaus [Dream House] Gewicht: 0.001319 kg [sic] 65,04 € LEGO FRIENDS Emma's Sonnenterrasse [Emma's Sun Terrace] Gewicht: 0.055 kg 5,47 € LEGO FRIENDS Emma's Designstudio [Emma's Design Studio] Gewicht: 0.11 kg 9,20 € LEGO FRIENDS Stephanie's mobile Tier- rettung [stephanie's Mobile Animal Rescue] Gewicht: 0.107 kg 9,20 € LEGO FRIENDS Stephanie's Backspaß im Garten [stephanie's Garden Backspace] Gewicht: 0.054 kg 5,47 € LEGO FRIENDS Stephanie's Cabrio [stephanie's Convertible] Gewicht: 0.192 kg 13,85 € LEGO FRIENDS Abenteuer Baumhaus [Tree House Adventure] Gewicht: 0.325 kg 18,53 € LEGO FRIENDS Mia's Welpen-Häuschen [Mia's Puppy House] Gewicht: 0.107 kg 9,20 € LEGO FRIENDS Olivia's Ideenwerkstatt [Olivia's Idea Workshop] Gewicht: 0.113 kg 9,20 € LEGO FRIENDS Caf [Cafe] Gewicht: 0.528 kg 27,79 € LEGO FRIENDS Die große Hundeschau [The Big Dog Show] Gewicht: 0.332 kg 18,53 € LEGO FRIENDS Andrea's Musikbühne [Andrea's Concert Stage] Gewicht: 0.114 kg 9,20 € 14 sets! English translations by yours truly, with my miserable skills in German.
  18. I don't think that the fantastical aspects of Castle theme could really merit a theme of their own, especially from financial standpoint. It might feel different enough for medievalists/fantasy fans, but the themes would overlap a lot in the eyes of average buyers - and most retailers, too. Either the better selling theme would quickly eat out the other (back to the starting point) or the sales of both themes would suffer because of lesser visibility/availability. Even now Lego has so many themes that the ones that aren't pushed aggressively at the moment have quite little shelf space left for them in most shops.
  19. Really? Just when I'm leaving to Lapland for a week. Bugger. On topic, today I bought what I suspect will be my last Series 5 fig, a second Evil Dwarf. Before today I've bought two lizard guys, one cave woman, one ice fisher, one zoo keeper, one gladiator, one graduate and two Cleopatras (and of course the first dwarf... and accidentally one gangster too, but I sold it to a friend of mine). Cleopatras make quite fine clerics, by the way, when you change the arms from yellow to white and choose a different head and hairpiece.
  20. But how is that squishy? Well, I suppose it bends a bit when pressing the beard and the hairbraid towards each other, but I wouldn't call that squishy.
  21. Surely you mixed those up? The dwarf has no squishy parts, unlike the cavewoman with her hair, which makes her one of the most easily identifiable figs.
  22. Today I bought and built the Mill Village Raid. Such a beauty! And those goats are just too adorable, aww. I really like all three peasants, too. Great prints! Contrary to my earlier plans, now that I've built the set myself I think I will use the barn as the public warehouse of my village - it's too big and grand to be a barn of some single farm, in my opinion.
  23. Just change the head inside to a black one and it works (in my opinion) quite well. It's a bit cartoony, of course. Red or transparent red head may work too, haven't tried yet.
  24. Unless the upcoming girls' theme bombs pretty badly, I don't think there's much chance of seeing Disney princesses as System minifig products. If the Duplo line does well and TLC wants to broaden the license, the new cutiefigs would be a more natural way to do that, both esthetistically (sic) and considering the shared target group. Of course, the girls' theme could bomb... but even in that case, I wouldn't count on TLC people to suddenly turn their heads completely and see the normal minifigs as the most suitable medium for capturing the girls. They have adamantly avoided that option, obvious as it is, since Paradisa. It is not a coincidence, be their reasons right or wrong.
  25. No more Heroica sets? Hopefully there will be! Also, there already exists a Lego game named Minotaurus? Summer House sounds nice, if rather similar to Log Cabin?
