  1. Yes, It is above and to the right of the bottom most Soyuz. Looks like 2x2 Round Tile with a printed grill
  2. So, some information from the new picture. Size without the Soyuz/Progress 39x84 Studs +-5 Studs. Part count probably isn't as big as one would expect. Probably less than 800. Modules use 4x2x6 Half Cylinder (Cylinder is 4x4x6 all up). This means that most modules should fit in the Shuttle Adventure with some modifications to the cargo bay (Removal of the Grey 2x4 mainly). The Russian segment is accurate although one Soyuz/Progress is missing. The US section seems to be missing the PMM (Going up on STS-133) and the Quest Airdock. Both these should be easy to add if required, although it might require some shuffling. The Solar panels look good, and can rotate. The radiators are marginal, in real life they are Dk Stone Grey... The inclusion of solar panels on some of the Russian modules is also a nice touch. And finally, I wonder if it is balanced on the Truss. It would be a good place to hang it from.
  3. Thanks for the new links, with the Hi Res ISS I have almost wet my pants :P If NASA is saying it is going to be a part of the line, then it probably will be. Let me digest the new image for a bit and I will post some commentary
  4. After a "epic" first post, this is a little more subdued. I have been lurking for a while now, but after finding that picture (and basically having a heart attack) I decided to join. My main interests in Lego are Technic and City lines (inc Trains). I try an only buy Technic as my room can't stand a full size Lego city, but with the new space sets, I can't resist. As you can probably tell, I have a major interest in space flight, most of this hobby is satisfied though Orbiter. It would also seem that I have succeeded in a goal of mine, which is to be on the front page of Eurobricks, and it is completely by accident, Honest! Thanks again for the welcome and hope to talk to you all again.
  5. Thanks for the welcome! I would not expect a shuttle with this set as it looks to be in scale with either Shuttle 2011 or Shuttle Adventure. Some guessing at the size leads me to believe it could be 45 x 96 studs to 67 x 143 studs. (Based on the core being 4 studs in diameter or 6 stud in diameter) Also a Lego piece from a shuttle set (Adventure?) went up on STS-132. I have not been able to find additional information yet. As for speculation, if this is a real set (I am not 100% sure it is yet) then a March release date is likely (Sourced from other threads about 2011 sets)
  6. I joined just to post this. Poking around from the NASA side of things (Spaceflight is my second hobby). Found this page: http://www.collectspace.com/news/news-110410a.html And it revivals, a large Lego ISS. Looks to be up to the current specification (Not hard with only 2 major components remaining). Edit: As far as I can tell it is in the complete configuration. I am not able to confirm that all items that are docked to Node 1 are present, but it seems all others are present. Includes some Soyuz and Progress spacecraft, and the 2 arms (The main one and the one off Kibo) I hope this will be an official set, it looks to awesome not to be :P And now we know what shuttle will be flying, probably.
