For as big as the new UCS Millenium Falcon is, it is still smaller than some other models. For example if you own the Mega Blocks USS Epnterprise, that model is both taller and longer than the falcon. Other buildings in the Lego range (for example ninjago city) direct the eye to it a bit more. I think my worry is that if not displayed properly, the Faclon won't look nearly as impressive as other models as it can't be shown off to its full glory.

Yeah, that's what I said

I bet on one side of the box it will show the empire strikes back Falcon and on the other side of the box it will show the force awakens Falcon. I would say about 8 minifigures then. Han, Leia, Chewbacca, C-3PO. Possibly Old Han, Rey, Finn, R2 D2 or BB8. So I think 8 to 9 minifigures. last night I did say it would be cool if they gave us a blue jacket Han, I guess my hopes did come true :)

My guesses as to the minifigures: Original Trilogy: Han, Luke, Chewbacca, leia, R2-D2, C-3PO New Trilogy: Old Han, Finn, Rey, BB8, Maybe: Darth Vader, Old obi wan kenobi, Lando Or variants: Han (ep4) Han(ep5 hoth), Han(ep5 blue jacket), leia(ep4), leia(ep5 hoth), Luke(ep4), luke(ep5, cloud city) just a few ideas thrown out there, would be cool to see the characters in more unusual uniforms, such as blue jacket Han, the one he wore on cloud city. There was that rumour that they were adding Mynoks and he was wearing the jacket at that time.

If it is clone wars then it is likely from that "LandIng in point rain" episode. That had Mundi and Barriss Offee appeared in that genossis ark, -
I assume the box will weigh a bit though. It has been said that the box will be massive and like other large sets it will most likely have partitioned areas for the peices, yet more weight. The instruction book is huge too. So it's not just the pieces that we have to add in, it's the box and such as well. Yours also had 1,500 less pieces than the new one as well. It could all add up.

I'm sure you have such a big collection. I'm sure you are also very knowledgeable and have so many insider connections to the point where you constantly get banned for lying. I'm sure you are a troll with only a few sets .

I've heard that it will be about $750. That's about £580 for us Brits. This is not as bad as a price as I thought it was going to be but still very expensive. I could be wrong though.

Not realy, the new 2018 one looks a bit of a jumble. A lot taller and less dome shaped. -
LEGO Star Wars 2018 Set Discussion - READ FIRST POST!

I was looking at the ki Adi Mundi/Barriss Offee set and was particularly interested in the clone troopers. I was looking at the box with the Barriss Offiee/cloaked figure on, not the Coleman Trebor one and the clone troopers helmet looked a bit weird. I know it's blurry and possibly me being hopefull but they looked a bit like the clone troopers from episode 3, the ones that killed ki aid mundi. The helmate I am imagining looks a bit like the one in the picture I have attached. To add more fuel to my theory, as I was uploading the picture to go allong wih this text, I saw the black shoulder guard thing across the right chest piece (left hand side from our perspective). This is like the black shoulder/chest printing on the actual minifigures on the box. So maybe this theory isn't completely stupid. Maybe? lego did do that Utapau troops battle pack with that one exclusive helmet so this practise of a new minor mold has been done before. But maybe it is just a regular helmet and I am seeing things. Hard to tell when it's a collection of hard to see pixels. What do you guys think of my theory? SIDE NOTE: Ki Adi Mundi looks like his torso is cream with a brown printing. I suspect we will recieve an episode 3 style Ki Adi Mundi like we did with the yoda's starfighter set last year. -
Does anyone think that they will discount the LEGO UCS Slave 1? Maybe a £20 discount? If so it would cost only £160 plus with 3x vip points it also gives you over £25 worth of vip points. That seems like a very good deal to me. They said they will discount the TIE Fighter and since Slave One is older then surely they want to get rid of that stock?

I was also wondering if Lego could make a minifig scale millennium falcon. Skip to the results bit if you don't want to check my working. So I did some calculations: The real Falcons length is 34.75meters in length. The average width of a person (shoulder to shoulder) is 18 inches (0.4572m) Therefore you can fit a person roughly 76 times along the Falcons length. To translate this to a Lego minifigure we will use feet (take up 2 studs). I know this is not the same as a shoulder width and therefore the minifigure scale falcon estimate will be a bit bigger than it should be. For it to be scale, as previously calculated, a minifigure/person should fit along the length 76 times. Sine a minifigures legs fir allong 2 studs then it is (76 x 2 = 152 studs across) Results So for this new falcon it should be 152 studs in length to be minifigure scale. I found on brickapidia that a square 1 x 1 plate with 1 stud in the middle (duh) is 8mm. That would be (152 x 8 = 1276mm length or 127.6cm) The last falcon was 84cm long So to get it to scale it must be 1.5 x the size of the last falcon to get it to scale. That would mean it should have 7675 pieces to be minifigure scale. Minifig scale = 7675 Actual = 7541 Remember though, it doesn't take 1.5x as many pieces to make something 1.5x as bigger. You can just use bigger planks for example. Also remember that my minifigure estimate is slightly bigger than the actual to scale one, so the minifigure one would be maybe 1 or 2 studs smaller than I am estimating. So in theory you could have a roundabout minifigure scale falcon with maybe a small but detailed interior space for that amount of pieces, it would be a squeeze but it could be done.

Is this $800 price tag confirmed or only rumoured? That would give it over 10c per piece. Surely for these larger sets they will aim to give a lower price per piece like in that new ninjago city set. Even the old Falcon was 9.6c per piece. In an ideal world it will be nearer $700 but maybe $750 for 10c pr piece. I would start to get a bit iffy on buying if it were over 10c per piece.
