  1. You make a good point, I guess the best thing for me to do is ask the Lego store by me if they got any Millennium Falcons in stock before the VIP Release date, so maybe a couple days or a week in advance. I know the set is expensive, but that also doesn't mean that it won't be sold out on the first day.
  2. Since we are discussing about the VIP Release, has anyone ever went to a Lego Store the first day VIP Access came out for a set and they had none in store? I went the first day to pick up the VW Beetle for everyone and they had none in stock. I am a little bit worried if my Lego Store won't have any in stock on the first VIP Day. I may have to wait a couple hours before the store opens.
  3. Because the set will be around 7500 pieces I am going to look at different sets that were released this year and multiply the piece count with a number and a decimal in it like Lego has been doing. Not sure if the mext tease may be about number of pieces or number of bags though.
  4. I still believe that this is going to be the UCS Millennium Falcon. It seems very unlikely that it will be a Huge Creator Set because of the size of the box and instructions that we know about so far. The Millennium Falcon is one of the most iconic vehicles in Cinema and releasing a Massive set that a lot of people missed out on would be great for collectors. I guess I could be wrong, but what other set would be sold for a high price like this one.
  5. You know I used to think that the orange on the box were just explosions. However when I look at this X-ray of the instructions it makes me believe it is the sky of Bespin and the Dark colors around it are the clouds with the falcon flying away. I also think that could be Cloud City on the upper right corner of the page.
  6. The Falcon will be revealed on September 1st and will be released for VIP Members on September 14th.
  7. I hope the UCS Falcon is not a remake of the previous one. There are so many new pieces introduced in the last decade and I hope they used them in the mee version. It is also going to be designed by the same person who did the UCS Slave I so I am sure this one will have the same amount of detail as that one. There was also a person named Shewie over at Brickpicker who said he saw the set on a computer screen and said it's glorious. He couldn't give out any more information about it since it still hasn't been released by Lego.
  8. I hope that is not the case. I think a $800 playset would not sell well because its target is to collectors and they can get the money to purchase it. I've been saving my money up since the beginning of this year and it would be very dissappointing if it had no exterior to this supposed 7500 piece set. This set is a day one buy for me as long as it is minifigure scale and if the exterior is more accurate than the previous version.
  9. Yeah seriously, the one droid that I want as a UCS set. I would love to have a model about the same size as the BB-8 set coming out
  10. I am fine with dropping $800 on a Lego Set, it is expensive but you would also be owning the largest Lego Set ever made.
  11. I will camp outside of the Lego Store overnight if I have to.
  12. If it is really 7500 pieces I am certain there might be a part of the Falcons interior. The Exterior is what I am looking forward to the most for a Display Model.
  13. Yup, hopefully this piece is used for the Falcon. On the other hand we really need this piece just for the Window part of the cockpit. I would be totally fine with the other half of the cockpit being brick built.
  14. That is pretty interesting. I think all of the re-sellers are probably worried about the cost of the original UCS Millennium Falcon if they believe a new version is coming out this year. I still think that the cost of 10179 will still be pretty high for nostalgia reasons, but fans of the ship would like to get one at a better price and hopefully a new model rather than a re-release.
  15. I would love to see those pictures... when we get confirmation of it on September 1st of course. I have heard it will either be a re-release of the original or a new update UCS Falcon. Of course with all of the new pieces introduced in the last decade it would be wise for Lego to make it much more accurate than the previous set.
  16. Hmm, that is pretty good to hear then. They may be trying to push this out as soon as possible then before Lepin produces the same product. I wonder if September 1st will reveal the whole set or if they will say that it will be coming out in 2 weeks. As much as I like pre orders, I want one this year.
  17. You know a guy hmmmm. I wonder who that can be.
  18. Lets just hope that there will be a Lego UCS Millennium Falcon. This definitely confirms that some big Lego Set is going to be announced in September and since this guy has designed the Slave I, I would find no problem of the long awaited rumor to be true.
  19. Yeah seriously though, it would be nice to get a Bantha in an upcoming Star Wars Set. We have already had two versions of the Dewback in both versions of the Mos Eisley Cantina. Maube it has something to do with lego molding issues.
  20. As far as interior goes I am fine with it being the same idea as the last one. However the gunner seats and the cockpit should be updated to at least look like the movie version of the ship. Also it would be nice to have the hallway going into the cockpit to not be some random bricks stacked behind the characters.
  21. If the new Lego UCS Millennium Falcon is smaller than the last one then I will not be picking it up. I don't really care if it is $800 and has an interior or not, but I want one that is more detailed than the 2007 version of the set. I think it would be a stupid idea for Lego to slap a ucs logo on the box of a New Millennium Falcon set if it is not minifigure scale.
  22. So will the BB8 set be released September 1st or will it be sold as a d2c set later in the year? If BB8 was sold in September as a UCS set then it would be very strange to have the UCS Falcon to be released the next month, or at least around the 15th of september for VIP Members.
  23. I think having a new UCS Millennium Falcon for only 4000 pieces wpuld be a stupidly bad decision by the Lego Group. I know that is false information for sure since there are many people who get reliable information saying over time that it will be over $600. Lego knows that the market for a new UCS Millennium Falcon would be based on those who missed the first oppurtunity. Also there is no way the Lego Group could pull off a minifigure scale Falcon at only 4000 pieces. The last one was over 5000 pieces and proved to work fairly well. I don't mind a new one not having an interior, but if the rumors are true that it may be over 7500 pieces for the set then it would be a shame if Lego did not try to fit in a little bit of an interior inside a new UCS Millennium Falcon. I will still buy a UCS Millennium Falcon as long as it is around the same piece count as the last one or even more than that. Who knows though, there is a lot of speculation on its price and the number of pieces that will be in it. I would like the price per piece count to be $0.10 but even $0.12 a piece is fine with me.
  24. Wow, if that is true it must either have a better design on the outside, an interior, or even both. I hope it is a redesigned Falcon because it could look so much better. Its too bad it may not be over 8000 pieces if it is really $800, but then again they would make it cost way more than that
  25. Another fake one. As irritated as everyone moght be about this I am sure this will be a trend on this thread for the next couple of weeks. I just want Lego to announce a pre-order for this set if it is over $600
