  1. Cedric is definetly the best, but all of them will still prove useful in MOCs or Brickfilms. I hope to see more. Lord Embo
  2. After flicking through the 2011 pictures and rumours thread, a question began to bug me. I'd like to know peoples' views on the 2011 Star Wars sets we've seen final pictures for; in other words, which is your favourite 2011 set with pictures and why? If I could make this a poll, I would. Anyways, my favourite has to be the T6 Shuttle because it comes with 4 Jedi I don't have, one minor one and Shaak Ti, who finally gets the Lego treatment. It is also helpful for my Clone Army and a Tipoca City MOC from the first two episodes of Season 3. It would be even further away from the others if it came with Quinlan Vos, but Anakin will do as I don't have him yet. Two sets that fall behind are the Bounty Hunter Gunship, which would be first if Aurra Sing didn't have the terrible hairpiece and also Mace Windu's Jedi Starfighter, which falls behind because of Mace's CW face. So, what about your favourite? *EDIT* If you don't like or plan on buying any of the sets, please don't bother posting about it here; it is wasting space that could be used by peoples' votes. Lord Embo
  3. When will we get final pics for the T6 Shuttle and the Bounty Hunter Guship on the first page of this topic? We have final pics on here for all the other first wave sets, but not these two. Well, most kids won't know anything about the OT or the PT now, but will know about The Clone Wars. So, until the films come out in 3D in 2012, we'll probably have to endure sets from The Clone Wars, I'm afraid. Remember, Lego is aimed at kids, and it is crucial that the kids actually know what it is by watching the films; I persuade my kids to watch the films every 3 weeks or so, so that they know all about it. Lord Embo
  4. I thought the same thing when I saw the prelims. Can't wait for 2011. Mind you, who can? Lord Embo
  5. Darn! I was going to ask the same question! But yeah, these decals would be greatly appreciated, especially for Cedric, who is one of my favourite Harry Potter characters. Of course, they would all be useful one way or another. Lord Embo
  6. If Ahsoka does die, it would make more sense because it would show more of Anakin's anger and lack of patience, which in turn was his ultimate fall to the dark side. So, I'd say it's 50/50. Whether Lucas and co decide to kill her is yet to be seen, but it would be the way The Clone Wars connects with RotS, which is important as the other Star Wars films connect to it one way or another. Lord Embo
  7. Minus the first two episodes, Season 3 hasn't lived up to expectations. The plot that everyone thought would be about Aurra killing Ahsoka has just been demolished by the latest episode, though I can't wait for Episode 9 and the one with Saesee and Delta Squad in it. Lord Embo
  8. Thought so! Thanks for final confirmation though, now we know they might also be in a set in the near future, but that depends on what happens in the episode they and Saesee appear in. Lord Embo
  9. That was the point I was trying to get at. It was just a suggestion. Besides, who doesn't want Ahsoka dead? Beside, MIA could very well mean Ventress died, though it isn't confirmed as of yet. I personally don't like Ventress or Ahsoka that much, except from their Lego counterparts, which are actually very accurate. Also, I was adding to a discussion already began about Ventress' fate and the fact that Lucas may change it in the near future. Lord Embo
  10. Some of the ideas suggested in this are interesting, while others are either entirely unknown to me or something that would be pointless in Lego. Someone should make a post(or two, depending on space) naming all the themes that have been suggested in this topic but not been made or are going to be made in the near future. Then we could keep track of everyone's suggestions. Lord Embo
  11. To me, they look suspiciously like Delta Squad, though that might just be my desire for them in a Lego set making me think so. Sorry about the double post, but there is a question I have for everyone that I want to know peoples' opinions on. The question is: Which two sets that we have final pics for are you most excited about, and most likely to get? My two have to be the Bounty Hunter Gunship(Embo is my reason) and the Battle for Geonosis(for Rex and new Luminara). I would have said the T6 Shuttle if Quinlan Vos was available with it too, but his exclusion is quite annoying for a minifig collector like me, but I actually don't have an Anakin yet, so I don't mind getting one. Mace Windu's Jedi Starfighter was another one I considered, but it falls behind the Battle for Geonosis because of Mace Windu's CW face; it makes him look rather old and just looks weird in general, a problem that plagues many minifigs from The Clone Wars subtheme of Lego Star Wars. What are your two? Lord Embo
  12. What countries are you referring to, Brickdoctor? Is it the UK and US, or do you speak of other countries? Lord Embo
  13. A simple idea I thought of to how The Clone Wars might conclude: Ahsoka is dueling Ventress somewhere in the galaxy and is cornered against a tree. Ventress cuts off her lightsaber hand just as Anakin shows up. Anakin is searching for Dooku and had recieved intel that he is on the planet. The rage bubbles inside him. However, as he tries to get involved, Ventress pushes him with the force into another tree some distance away from the fight. Lightsaber drawn, Anakin charges, but as he charges, Ventress ruthlessly impales Ahsoka with both her lightsabers. Anakin stops where he is, almost about to explode in absolute fury and grief for his slain padawan. Ventress turns to Anakin, laughs and says, "Once you're dead, Skywalker, my ascension to the Sith will be completed!" Anakin and Ventress engage in a duel and about 2 minutes in, Anakin cuts one of Ventress' lightsabers in half, and the duel continues. Anakin begins to get more ferocious and Ventress begins to realise that she is at a disadvantage. During a saber lock, Ventress uses the force to push Anakin again and Ventress laughs and walks away. Sprinting with the force, Anakin impales Ventress and watches as she dies and says her final words, "Curse you, Jedi scum!" before her life ends. Meanwhile, Dooku, sensing Anakin's presence, escapes off-world and hides on Utapau, debating with Sidious what their next move against the Republic shall be. Back on Coruscant, Anakin is standing at Ahsoka's funeral pyre, asking Obi-Wan what he should do now, but his master doesn't respond as he is meditating, trying to learn more about the events leading up to Ahsoka's death. Tell me what you think of it! Lord Embo
  14. I hope so. I want to get at least one of the sets and review it before anyone else gets the oppurtunity to do so. Also, they'd make stunning Christmas presents if they are available by then. My kids would love the BPs! Lord Embo
  15. Once dust gets on Lego, it's very difficult to get off again unless it is a set that uses the SNOT technique. This difficulty comes from studded pieces and how much they get in the way. So it makes cleaninig the bricks seem quite pointless; the dust generally returns, unfortunately. Lord Embo
  16. It's actually called R7-F5 according to Wookieepedia and Brickipedia, and the latter states that TLG put the name R7-D4 on it due to it being called that in a somewhat inaccurate source. Lord Embo
  17. Sorry about the double post, but I have a few more ideas up my sleeve: Minifig collections like the Collectable Minifigs, but no Chinese plastic! I hate Chinese plastic; it is the bane of my Lego collection minus stickers. Minifigs of the collection: Cedric Diggory(3rd Task) Fleur Delacour(3rd Task) Madam Maxime Ernie Prang Lily Potter and James Potter(ghosts or normal, I wouldn't mind either) Gilderoy Lockhart(flesh) Amos Diggory Cornelius Fudge Fred Weasley and George Weasley(Quidditch) Ron Weasley(Quidditch) Cho Chang Luna Lovegood(Ravenclaw uniform) Tom Riddle(flesh) Xenophilus Lovegood Barty Crouch Jr Cedric Diggory(Quidditch) Moaning Myrtle Lord Embo
  18. Does it? Sorry about my ignorance on that part; I don't understand French very well. Lord Embo
  19. Is this yours? Or is it off the internet? Delta Squad are in The Clone Wars along with Saesee Tiin? Hopefully that means they'll appear in a future set. If it does,! Lord Embo
  20. I don't know if this counts as bumping an old topic, but UK instruction manuals also have colour errors for some reason. It makes building certain sets quite annoying in my opinion! Lord Embo
  21. Oh. I hadn't heard or seen either of these; I've been busy on here for the last few days. But that is really good news! Lord Embo
  22. Even if Saesee Tiin doesn't appear in series 3, I'm not debating his release; his minifig looks cool and it's a good sign that we may be geting lesser-known characters in future sets. Like I said before, too bad Anakin has replaced Quinlan Vos in the T6 because I quite like him inspite of his lack of appearances in the movies or the Clone Wars. If he does appear, hopefully TLG will consider putting him in a set. Lord Embo
  23. She and Ventress should both be dead by the time The Clone Wars is finsihed, though it remains a mystery when that will happen. Lord Embo
  24. I didn't say it was! And it actually isn't; I just like this vehicle/droid from it as well as some of the Jedi introdued within it. Lord Embo
  25. How about a battle-pack style set with the 4 champions of the Triwizard Tournament? There would be 4 versions; one for each task and in their school clothes. Champions Set 1 (School Clothes) Minifigs: Cedric, Harry, Viktor and Fleur. All wear school clothes. Champions Set 2 (1st Task) Minifigs: Cedric, Harry, Viktor and Fleur. All wear 1st task clothes. Champions Set 3 (2nd Task) Minifigs: Cedric, Harry(double sided head, affected by gillyweed and normal), Viktor(normal head and alternate shark's head) and Fleur. All wear 2nd task clothes. Champions Set 4 (3rd Task) Minifigs: Cedric, Harry, Viktor(Bewitched) and Fleur. All wear 3rd task clothes. Some other ideas: UCS Azkaban with removable wall in same shape as in OotP to reveal internal structure of cells and corridors on the top floor. One piece of wall for each part of the triangular top can be removed and are all the same shape. A piece count of over 4500. Minifigs: Sirius Black(prison clothes), Sirius' Animagus form, Barty Crouch Jr(prison clothes), Bellatrix Lestrange(prison clothes) and 3 Dementors. Original Order of the Phoenix Battle Pack Minifigs: Albus Dumbledore, Mad Eye Moody(no peg leg, printed left leg with most black and bottom silver), Frank Longbottom, James Potter and Lily Potter. Gryffindor Quidditch Team Battle Pack(PS) Minifigs: Harry Potter, Oliver Wood, Fred Weasley and George Weasley. Slytherin Quidditch Team Battle Pack(HBP) Minifigs: Vincent Crabbe, Gregory Goyle, Draco Malfoy and Miles Bletchley. Hufflepuff Quidditch Team Battle Pack(PoA) Minifigs: Cedric Diggory, Malcom Preece, Anthony Rickett and Herbert Fleet. Ravenclaw Quidditch Team Battle Pack(PoA) Minifigs: Cho Chang, Roger Davies, Jason Samuels and Grant Page. 4 Privet Drive(CoS) Minifigs: Vernon Dursley, Petunia Dursley, Dudley Dursley, Dobby and Harry Potter.
