The LEGO Batman Movie Set/CMF Rumors & Discussion

I wonder if Robin's can of Shark Repellent would work on Orca. -
Well you could use them for that, but I'm pretty sure he was referring to the Fantastic 4 (Ghost Rider head for Human torch, and arms for Mr. Fantastic). Too bad I don't really see it happening unless Marvel gets the movie rights back.

It's also missing Chef Joker, and Roman Soldier Batman. -
Is that Thanos chromed, or did they just make it look shiny for some reason?

Since some people are getting the November sets so early, there is probably a decent chance that some of us will be able to get the January sets just in time for Christmas. -

Have you tried logging out, and then logging back in? Maybe that will get rid of it. -
Are these on Aliexpress yet? I haven't seen them there.
-
Has anyone else been getting their Aliexpress packages with a label on the outside that says "Made In China"? I've gotten a few that had this lately, and I've never seen it before. I was wondering if maybe there was a new law or something that required it.

Here's KOPF set you missed. JLB did Naruto set before too, but they were a lot different from these.
-
I tried to place a few orders yesterday, and it said the payment was declined for security reasons. I tried it again this morning with the same card and it went through, but for a while it said they were awaiting verification, and now they all say they are awaiting shipment.

Yeah, either that or KF needs to hurry up and put more of those big figs up for single sale.

I'm not complaining, this will help to ease the pain my wallet is gonna be feeling next year. -
I got my horror movie figs yesterday. Chucky does in fact come with short legs, and not the long ones that were in the renders.
-
I'm pretty sure this isn't the first time POGO has put out new figs before the official ones were released, maybe they've an inside man working at Lego.
-
It's based on a kids superhero show called; Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir, it airs on Nickelodeon in the US.
-
Did Chucky actually come with short legs? The renders I saw show him with normal legs, but the customizer they took them from actually uses the short ones. Also those base plates are the same style that Xinh uses, so I wonder if they are the ones who actually makes them.
-
I would definitely recommend the brick built ones. The ones from SY or Elephant brand are probably the best ones out there. You might be thinking of Sluban, they've got a Three Kingdoms theme with some Chinese castles and other structures.

I got them, they're about as good as you'd expect, if you've ever bought an LEBQ set before(i.e., not that great). I suppose it will be a little bit different for everyone, but you can see mine came with some mismatched limbs. Also some of the hand sockets were so loose that the hands couldn't even stay in, but I switched them out with some spare ones from a different set, and those stay in much better. The Pokemon are just two molded pieces that clip together. A couple of them won't stay stay on their stands, because their feet peg-holes are a loose fit. Like I said it's probably gonna be a little different for everyone. If your just buying the set for Polywhirl then maybe these defects don't matter so much, since Polywhirl is one of the best figs in the set in my opinion.

That Venusaur comes from a Ionix set released a couple of years ago, and the Palkia is from an older Mega Bloks set that was only released in Asia.

Remember we can't do links anymore. Just do a search for "Single Sale Ninjagoes New Marvel Comics Ninja", and it'll come up. I really hate it when sellers use very nonspecific post titles like that...

It's DLP9032 btw I saw SY622 (the new one with Beast and Cyclops) on single sale. Its listed as "IN STOCK 1 Pcs Super Heroes Assembly Batman/Falsh/Antom/Captain America Minifigures Action Figure Bricks Kids Toys Figures" It's a bit more expensive than the usual single fig price, but I'm guessing that has something to do with the minibuilds they come with.

That'd be nice I got into buying bootlegs just in time to miss these two, and the Scarlet Spider that was from either LELE or LEBQ. Thankfully Lego has finally done an official version of him though. Are the JLB figs on single sale somewhere? I've never seen JLB figs on single sale before, and I wouldn't mind a yellow/gold Batman but I'm not sure I want it enough to get the whole set of 6 figs.
-
These are pretty awesome. I wish that Lego or even bootleggers would do these types of characters with those giant minifig clocks, or whichever verrsion of the minifig you used. I wouldn't even care if there was a big clock display on them, i'd still buy them. Unfortunately though they just stick with the core characters who have no justifiable reason for being huge. I think it was definitely leading in the community section of the boards, but I can't speak for the rest of the site since I'm never really there.

I'm good with Reddit, but I really hate Facebook

Yes technically customizers do violate copyrights, but most companies let it go because they usually aren't produced at the same scale as bootlegs are, and 9 times out of 10 they are made from official parts. Unlike bootleggers who make copies of existing stuff and sell it as their own. Personally I don't have a problem with either one, because I think a lot of copyright laws have been blown out of proportion, but that's a whole other issue I'm not getting into... From what I've seen customs usually have a quality level that's just as good or better than the real thing, while bootlegs seem to vary. It took a bit of convincing before I got myself to buy bootlegs, but I promised myself I wouldn't ever go after customs. There's just way to much going on with that market, and theirs no way my budget would keep up with all the stuff I would want.
