I never had Lego when I was a kid. I've seen kids with Lego but I myself never played or built anything with Lego when I was growing up. Fast forward 30 years or so, and I was researching for toys I can buy for my then one year old son. I decided to get him a Duplo Deluxe train set (one with the motorised engine) and then a Duplo Thomas & Friends Starter set. Even at that age of one, my son just loved playing with the Duplo bricks and the train sets. So I decided to make him from scratch a train table and painted it with Lego colors. And then I set my foot for the first time in my Local Lego Store and I just fell in love with the Star Wars sets and the Green Grocer! From then on, I start buying sets after sets after sets.

A year later, my son still spend a lot of time with his Duplo bricks and train sets. I am hoping he will continue to have interests until he is old enough to move on the smaller Lego pieces.

Anyway, I am a full-time Senior System Analyst, a part-time Web Designer, and a full-time family man. My wife and I have a 2 year old son who is very active. At the end of the day, whatever extra time I have (mostly just a few minutes), I try to spend it building the sets that I bought.
