  1. Nice! I wonder what will happen when formula * racing converts to electric motors. Will they have speakers to emulate the roar for the crowds! Clive Sinclair was well ahead of his time with the C5, or rather, technology has been held back since the 80s to profit from oil and car manufacture.
  2. Oh, what a shame it's in such a bad state :(
  3. Although I found it in a sorry state (snapped in part), I've never seen an underside like this. It looks like a genuine Lego piece on the top (has "Lego" on the knobs). Is this an old connection type or just badly broken? Judging by the amount of dirt on it, it's certainly mid 70s, if not earlier. Either way, it's heading straight for the bin
  4. Don't use parcel force when importing from America... insist on using *another certain* parcel company who invoice you the legal charges plus their fee after you've received the item. You pay what you're legally entitled to pay, then write a letter/email stating you're not paying the fee that was levied on you without your consent. Thanks for the info on bricks and pieces - it certainly fills my quest for the harder to find pieces - they sure ain't cheap though!
  5. I don't know about bricklink, I'm currently looking at brick owl
  6. I'm looking to buy some additional pieces, and for grey I see, dark grey, dark stone grey, light grey, medium stone grey - what colour should I be choosing if I want to buy pieces for a classic space kit which Peeron lists as being "OldGray"
  7. What's "plan B" if p.a.b. don't stock the colour of a piece you need? Ebay isn't really an option as it's just a few select pieces I want.
  8. Whilst searching through my old Lego box, I found two windows which are not compatible with Lego, and feature "+" knobs instead of "o" knobs. There's no brand name on them, and I don't have any other pieces of this shape. They date to mid-late 70's - 80s. Any ideas?
  9. As a complete newbie to modern-day lego build, what's this about builds being illegal / legal? Who polices these builds? I didn't expect the Spanish Lego Inquisition!
  10. Wow, thank you! Now that I see it, I remember building it up and playing with it! See, I thought the sticker would be the key, but I didn't know the name of the piece!
  11. Hi, I've been going through my old box of Lego from my childhood, and found this truck - it dates to late 80's / early 90's, but I just can't find the set anywhere! I've gone through all the sets I could find on Bricksets for the years 88 - 91. Judging by the fact there's a tow bar on it, I'm guessing there's a missing trailer that maybe I have the parts for somewhere. A little help would be appreciated!
