I liked the cartoon, but I'm more of an Indiana Jones fan to be honest.

Zelda would be great. EDIT: And Halo Legos.

One thing I liked about the classic sets for themes such as Town, Castle and Pirates was the simple construction they used. They didn't have all those fancey pieces, just simple ones that made the sets much nicer to have on display and more detailed. The newer ones today seem so bulky and lack detail. The castles are probally the worst. In the 90s they looked like castles. Today most of the castles look like a single wall with giant curvey pieces stuck on the sides. Plus instead of having swords and motorbikes that are to scale, we have these giant cartoonish looking things. Also the minifigures. Back in the 90s, you would have the smiley face. What made the smiley face so good was that there were so many variations. One would have eyebrows printed on. Another would have a moustache. Another would have a stubble. Another would replace the smiley mouth with female lips. They were basic, but it allowed for much more flexability for mixing and matching. They could be used for almost anything and just the different colour of a beard was enough to make 2 figures seem like two completely different people. Now most themes have these cartoonish looking faces with big cheesy grins and anime eyes that is impossible to use for much else. While the newer pieces being made by Lego are making liscened themes like Batman, Star Wars and Harry Potter even more better, they are really making the generic standard themes worse. Does anyone else feel the simple, basic construction for the non-liscenced sets in the 90s was much better than the current trend of simple, one wall <insert that tiresome argument> sets with all the fancy new pieces?

The new Sith Infiltrator looks horrible. Just when Lego was going so well the past year or so they give us this.

Who's the girl with the pink outfit and 50's hairdoo? This castle looks a lot weaker than the previous two. In fact I still think the very first is the best of the lot. Hermione also looks very manish for some reason - mabey the new lips. If the sides of her hairpiece were longer she would look better too.

Hermione's new hairpiece would be better if the sides were a tad longer. It doesn't look right how they are short but the back is very long. Besides that it looks way better than the old hair. The old one was like the girl wearing it hasn't brushed it in a month.

Are the battle droids in the MTT going to be painted like in the Battle Droid Carrier/Jedi Defense sets or not because all the Toy Fairs so far have shown the pilot droid with a plain blue torso, and the security ones with plain red.

I might get it as long as it comes with an interior and some minifigures, otherwise my current Falcon is good enough as a display piece.

Would someone be able to upload the pics on Imageshack or Photobucket? The Brickshelf gallery is being modded and I have a feeling these new pics are about to be removed. :(

What about Silent Hill? I'd love a Pyramid Head minifigure.

(2/08/07 - HOLLYWOOD, FL) - Anna Nicole Smith died Thursday after collapsing at a hotel and being being rushed to the hospital, one of her lawyers said. Officials at the Seminole Hard Rock Cafe Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Florida, say she was unresponsive when she was taken from there to the hospital. A spokeswoman for the hotel says she checked in on Monday, and was supposed to check out tomorrow. Witness reports are that CPR was in progress at the time. Smith was reportedly accompanied by her companion, Howard K. Stern and a bodyguard at the time. Anna Nicole has been in the news for much of the past year, as she's involved in paternity battle over her baby girl born in September. Her 20-year-old son Daniel died in the hospital just three days after the baby's birth. Most people first noticed Smith when she married Texas billionaire J. Howard Marshall. He was 86 years old and she was only 26. Soon after, Smith was everywhere. And after Marshall died in 1995, her reputation as America's most famous alleged gold digger seemed secure. A California court awarded her $450 million from her late husband's estate, but Marshall's son Brian appealed in Texas and won. Stay with ABC13 Eyewitness News for the latest on this developing situation. (Copyright

Does anyone find it strange that in 9 years of the Star Wars liscence we have only had one version of Padme available in only 2 identical sets being the podracer ones? I mean we have had a million Luke, Leia, Han, Obi-Wan, Anakin, C-3PO, R2-D2, Chewbacca, Jar-Jar and Qui-Gon figures, yet hardly any of Padme. Now granted Padme in The Phantom Menace wasn't anywhere near as popular as Princess Leia, and that with each new prequel her popularity decreased, but she still has a decent sized fanbase. Yes even if 90% of them are young girls and horny men with a fetish all things Natalie Portman. But she was still a lead character and the fact that Lego has never been shy when it comes to their movie liscences with Leia, Mary-Jane, Catwoman, Hermione etc but haven't released another Padme since 1999 is pretty sad. Who else thinks Lego should get more Padme Amidala figures (but still keep those Leia's commin' - you can never have too many of her!)
