  1. Well, if I'd have to combine the rose and the glass piece, I'd build a "Le Petit Prince" MOC. Seems different minds work in different ways.
  2. Thanks for the nice review, I'm really looking forward to the other sets' reviews!
  3. A few thoughts I had while reading the review: The flask was available with the S4 Crazy Scientist figure. The Agents laptop doesn't need to be resurrected - it's in the 7066 Earth Defense HQ set too, so it's absolutely "alive"! I think it could have been placed in this set, too. I'm glad to see you noticed the similarity with the Doctor Who figures! I haven't seen anybody else (besides myself) who noticed it. Unfortunately, I find them superior to the minidolls - their heads are compatible with minifigs (mostly, my Silent's head doesn't fit well on a minifig), their hands are movable and their legs can be moved separately. The minidolls' hair-interchangeability is pretty cool, but I'd preferred a version with the DW bodies and the minidoll heads. (I didn't have the chance to compare them "in flesh" 'cause Friends isn't available here yet. Could you post a picture with Olivia and the Amy Pond figure?) Printed blackboard? Hip-hip-hurray! This exceeds all my hopes. Thanks for the nice review!
  4. Wow, I must say this calendar is much better than this year's official City calendar. Congrats! If I may ask, how much did it cost? (Approximately, ofc.) How many pieces aren't available in S@H? Thanks, Tom
  5. Congrats for all the winners! I'm a bit sad 'cause I'm in the unlucky 20%, but I would like to thank CopMike and Siegfried for the excitement during the whole month. My first thing to do everyday was to check the calendar. Thank you, guys!
  6. Lord Vader wishes Merry Christmas to every resident of the Death Star!
  7. 5) Dumbo scene - Clown, Ringmaster and Circus Clown Entry (Build by Oky) - 3 points
  8. 7) Godzilla Entry (Build by Yatkuu) - 1 point 22) Pharaoh Queen Entry (Build by Dan Church) - 1 point 35) Godzilla Entry (Build by Cecilie) - 1 point
  9. Legostein - all 3 points. (There are others I find lovely, but I can't express how fascinating the alien bartender is in any other way.)
  10. Wow! I love all of your minis, but this is outstanding! Congratulations! I'll clone it and put it next to the original. :)
  11. Do you have any plans avout continuing this theme? I really liked the idea.
  12. Wow. Just Wow. Masterpiece. How much pieces does it use? Where can I find your Jazz?
  13. Are you searching for this?
  14. Guess you're lucky: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=58350&st=0
  15. As far as I know, it's Mega Bloks: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=57955 Sorry. :-(
  16. Thanks for the welcome! Thanks, Brickdoctor, I knew about the reviews in Community, I really liked them. I plan to get some Oxford sets somehow...
  17. Nice build and nice article! I suppose I'll try to get the MBA sets somehow.
  18. I think they have visors, if you look closely where the top and bottom of the visor should be, you can see the top and bottom lines of it.
  19. Well, my name is pretty easy to dechiper for anybody who knows hungarian. Tamás is the hungarian version of Thomas, and is also my given name. My surname begins with "Pe". So my name should be "tamaspe". We hungarians use our name "backwards" as opposed to most other nations - we use our family name at first, and our given name at second place, so my name is "Pe... Tamás", hence the screen name is "petamas". Hope you enjoyed today's lesson about different cultures.
  20. I'm a 22-years old university student from Hungary. During my childhood I played a lot with Lego, but when I entered high school at 12, I found less and less time for the little plastic bricks, so I packed away my collection. I rediscovered Lego approximately a year ago through the blog kockagyar. ("Kockagyár" means "Brick Factory" in hungarian.) I'm interested in nearly all Lego themes, but when it comes to buying/building, I mostly do Space. My favourite faction is Blacktron (both incarnations) but I own at least a figure from every theme which came out after Futuron. I also like the "real space" sets like Launch Command, Space Port and City Space. I really love Collectible Minifigures, they brought me back to buying Lego. My favourites are the sci-fi and circus sub-themes. Oh, and an interesting bit: I'm always curious about clone brands, I have a few sets (Enlighten, Bricks, Sluban, Zaphyr Knight, ...) and I plan to get more, 'cause I always find some interesting techniques in these little things.
  21. I don't know if it belongs to here, but I found a Blacktron I rebuild of Alien Abduction on flickr:
  22. Wow! I really like this turret, especially the controls. Can't wait to see the rest.
  23. Hi, I found a few compatible/clone reviews in the forum which aren't listed here: Enlighten Air Gun Character Building Doctor Who TARDIS Mini Set Hasbro Transformers Kre-O Megatron Globo Buggy
  24. Wow, I'm impressed. I loved SP III and the whole "Space City" idea, and combined with classic 4-wide Town it's an even better theme. I'm looking forward to seeing your other Futuristic Classic Town MOCs!
