  1. Palmdale, Palmdale East, and Lancaster are all showing up as "In Stock" on the DCPI search. Did you punch the number into the price scanner or ask an employee? Try giving an employee the DCPI number, say there isn't any on the floor and ask if they would please bring them out. - MJ
  2. Some good news and some bad news about the minifigures Target is receiving: Good News: I found the same display as seen in the video at a Target in Pacoima, CA during my lunch break. Good News: All 120 minifigures were present and accounted for - they opened the box right in front of me, so it was completely untouched. Bad News: Here's the breakdown of minifigures in this display: Bee Girl 4 Medusa 3 Sea Captain 2 Painter 10 Librarian 3 Paintballer 10 Revolutionary Soldier 9 Grandpa 5 Sad Clown 11 Mechanic 10 Roman Soldier 12 Tomahawk 12 Baseball 7 Trendsetter 4 Warrior Woman 7 Skydiver 11 That's right. 2 Sea Captains. I manhandled each and every packet, double-checked the bump codes at the bottom of the packages to see that they matched up, and in case someone is thinking I probably mis-identified a few (and that is always a possibiliy,) I bought a full set of 16 plus a few extras and every single one, upon opening, was the minifigure I thought it was. Plus, the people who came over to see what I was doing and subsequently bought figures based upon my IDs all received the correct figures. Now that I think of it, I should have taken a picture of the packages laid out on the floor with the post-its on each pile. :) Employees must have thought I was insane. And, lastly... Bad News: No sign of Mr. Gold - MJ
  3. Found them in Valencia, but they weren't on the floor. I gave them the DPCI and they brought them out from the back room. Good luck! - MJ
  4. Found 'em at Target in Los Angeles today. DPCI # 204-00-1044 Didn't have time to work the "touch & feel" method, so I bought 25 and ended up with: 4 Mechanics 1 Librarian 2 Roman Soldiers 3 Tomahawk Warriors 3 Revolutionary Soldiers 4 Painters 5 Paintballers 1 Baseball Player 2 Sad Clowns - MJ
  5. Yep, they are in the USA. Right now, Toys-R-Us is your only option (at least, that's the only place I've heard of them showing up.) If you have a Toys-R-Us near you, give them a call and ask them to do a search for UPC # 673419163002. Then they will be able to tell you if they have them in stock or not. The Lego Stores have a release date of September 1st for these. Good luck! - MJ
  6. I had the opportunity to open a full, brand-new, still sealed box of Series 8 today. I can confirm the contents as being: Robot - 5 Conquistador- 4 Bavarian - 3 Cowgirl - 4 Football Player - 4 Diver - 3 Skier - 3 Trade - 3 Fairy - 3 Santa - 4 Man Bat - 4 DJ - 5 Cheerleader - 4 Thespian - 3 Pirate - 5 Alien - 3 Here's the order they were in the box. From my experience, the boxes come packed the same, so perhaps this will help you locate the figures you want (this only works if you are accessing a box that has not yet been rooted through.) Row One 1 DJ 2 Cheerleader 3 Conquistador 4 Conquistador 5 Alien 6 Bavarian 7 Robot 8 Robot 9 Robot 10 Pirate 11 Man Bat 12 Trader 13 Man Bat 14 Trader 15 Cheerleader 16 DJ 17 Cheerleader 18 DJ 19 DJ 20 Robot Row Two 1 Football 2 Skier 3 Skier 4 Diver 5 Santa 6 Santa 7 Thespian 8 Bavarian 9 DJ 10 Cheerleader 11 Pirate 12 Conquistador 13 Fairy 14 Fairy 15 Robot 16 Alien 17 Pirate 18 Bavarian 19 Conquistador 20 Pirate Row Three 1 Diver 2 Football 3 Football 4 Football 5 Alien 6 Skier 7 Fairy 8 Man Bat 9 Cowgirl 10 Pirate 11 Diver 12 Man Bat 13 Santa 14 Thespian 15 Santa 16 Thespian 17 Cowgirl 18 Trader 19 Cowgirl 20 Cowgirl Good luck! - MJ
  7. Howdy, folks! I'm in the USA and I have some Team GB minifigures for trade / sale! I have: Gymnast Weightlifter Boxer Equestrian Karate / Judo woman Archer Runner I am looking for a tennis player (Team GB) or I am willing to sell the figures for what I paid: $4 each (a friend picked up a bunch for me and $4 each is what they came to after shipping to the USA, etc.) Thanks for reading! - MJ
  8. No worries - I stopped by a local Toys-R-Us on the way home last night and lo & behold! A box of Series 7! For anyone who needs it, the UPC number for this series (in the USA) is 673419162982. - Joe
  9. Say, Masked Builder, would you mind posting the 12-digit number from your receipt so I can punch it into the TRU computer & see what stores near me have the new minifigs? - MJ
  10. Lies? No. A typo? Perhaps. I called three Lego Stores yesterday and I'm assuming they issued a notice because they all said the same thing, give or take: the "April 16th" on the Store Calendar flyer was a typo. The Lego Stores in my area (Southern California) get their shipments on Monday so, if they WERE going to have them available for sale on April 16th, they would have them already. Which they do not. But two of the three stores I called suggested trying back on Monday because if the sets arrive in-store on that day, they are sometimes authorized to sell them early, especially if other stores (I'm looking at YOU, Toys-R-Us) have them for sale, too. So take this info as you will - if your Lego Store gets its shipments later in the week than mine, you very well might be able to purchase them on April 16th, but I heartily recommend you give the store a call before heading over there. - J
  11. I haven't yet waded through all the other entries, so I hope no one else has done this one already... As for what's inside, well... you've seen CREEPSHOW, right?
  12. Here's your one-stop info post to help US residents track them down: The UPC number for Series 4 is 673419144995 The Toys-R-Us SKU for Series 4 is 578074 The Target DPCI for Series 4 is 204 00 0463 Note: No one has reported finding them at Target yet. I stopped off at Target and had them run the UPC number. Series 4 is in their system (hence the DPCI number) but they don't have them in their warehouses or distribution centers yet. Give 'em about two weeks to start trickling into Targets. Good luck, everyone! - Joe
  13. Ah, well. Thanks for the info! - MJ
  14. Might I ask who is selling them at this price? :) - MJ
  15. Hey, would you do me a favor and double-check that barcode number? I asked them to run it at Target and they told me the number was too long - a UPC code is supposed to be 12 numbers, not 13. - MJ
  16. I'm assuming Target is going to get these to put in their Easter section. After all, Series 2 was put in with their Christmas stuff and Series 3 was put in with the Valentines Day stuff. Then again, I could be completely wrong! We'll see! Either way, I'm very much looking forward to 'em! - J
  17. Unless they put them in boxes instead of bags, or unless they start packing figures without identifiable accessories, it will always be possible to identify the figures. I didn't use the bar codes at all for Series 1, I went by touch, and correctly identified the bag's contents every time. - MJ
  18. Oh, I don't know about that... buying a couple at $3.99 each isn't THAT tough on the wallet, but consider these numbers: A whole box at $1.99 each is $119.40. A whole box at $2.99 each is $179.40. And a whole box at $3.99 each is $239.40. The cost REALLY creeps up on ya. I'd sooner wait until they show up at the Lego Store and buy them there. Hopefully, others will do the same and show Toys-R-Us we're not going to play their games. This is why stores go out of business (K*B Toys, anyone?) And considering there aren't even three full sets in one box any more, I don't see buying an entire, sealed box as an option anymore. - MJ
  19. I REALLY hope the Toys-R-Us warehouses get choked with Series 3. I was willing to accept the $1 price increase since they were willing to let the "buy one, get one 50% off" sale apply, but to double the MSRP is unforgivable in my book. - MJ
  20. We're also missing the invisible man from the 'classic Universal Monsters'. Would love to see that in Series 5. He could have two heads - one all bandaged up, and the other clear transparent! - MJ
  21. Series 3's Code has been cracked over at From Bricks To Bothans! To use this barcode sheet, all you have to do is feel the “bumps” on the bottom back of each bag. The black dots shows where the bumps are. These codes are from North America and there are currently no details whether they are the same for the rest of the world. Let us try to build a sheet for Europe or at least confirm that for Europe the dots are the same as for the US. Source: fbtb.net
