  1. Thank you very much for the reply. I will build your AT-ST later this year when I got money from selling other Lego stuff and share some pics when have finished it
  2. I am really interested in building this MOC, Lego's own AT-ST is OOP and this one looks way better. The only two things I don't like are the missing top hatch and the very expensive price per piece for the 5x5 Scala dishes in LBG. Is there a mod with a hatch that you can open?
  3. I got the promo polybag from the German S@H, although I didn't ordered any Elves set. Maybe each country has different conditions.
  4. Where is that split, at the base where the 1x1's connect? Having the 1x1's connected is not different than using the arc in a different way like as a part of a building.
  5. Earth Blue is Lego's name for BL's Dark Blue. You can see it in this color list: http://www.peeron.com/inv/colors%C2%A0%C2%A0excellent
  6. Yes, I agree. I have only 11 left and want to pay less than 2 euros per piece. Eventually they will pop up at that price, but I have to check my email inbox often.
  7. Thanks to this and similar threads I started with bricklinking a Green Grocer. I sourced around 600 parts from my collection and after some bricklings order I have 1342 parts left to buy. My goal from the beginning was to build a really faithful GG with only a few subsitutions that don't impact the aesthetics of the building too much. My subsitutions: - Sand green bricks 1x8 with a combination of 1x2,1x4 and 1x6 bricks - Train windows with modern 1x2x3 windows with glass - Sand green hinge bases with DBG ones - 2x 16x32 baseplates with one 32x32 -Panel 1x2x2, Doorframes 1x4x6 with modern molds I won't buy the minifigs, because I have already tons of minifigs to populate my modular street. Also I'm getting the old versions of the tan arch 1x6, which are strangely very expensive in new condition. Luckily I got a like new looking used one already, still looking for another good looking used arch. Most headdaches give me the prices of the sand green modified 1x2 bricks with groove, still have 11 left to buy. The price for these bricks seems to go up even further, as the supply of new condition ones dries up. Do you guys think the prices of the grooved bricks will make a faithfully bricklinked Green Grocer financially unviable compared to a used real one in the future?
  8. Hi, I come from Germany. I found my way back to Lego in 2012 with the release of the Lord of the Rings sets. Since then I bought a lot of stuff. I am most interested into the modular buildings, Star Wars and Ideas sets. In addition I have a weak spot for the castle and pirates themes. I still have all my childhood sets, it was the right choice to never sell them!
