My daughter loves TRU, so this set was a must for her birthday! I'm sure we will expand the store section to make it much larger as it is fairly small.

This is my first year getting a LEGO Advent set since my daughter is now old enough to start enjoying LEGOs and I'm very excited! The sets and minifigs aren't the best, but having a Santa will thrill her for sure.

I have the older, smaller one that came out around 2000 or so with the brown pieces. I must say this one is much nicer looking with being all one color and with more detail!

Got a free Ben10 set today when I bought the TRU Semi Truck set and City Advent calendar, and I can't imagine paying $15 for such a thing, even if I was a fan of Ben10! For $15 you would have recieved about 20 pieces that don't resemble LEGOs in any way. :( Might just give this to a kid on the neighborhood...

This set makes me wish I started recollecting earlier! Definitely getting the Winter Bakery this year, and I hope they keep up the tradition!

I got the city calendar locally at TRU in Tulsa, OK, but have to order the Kingdoms one. My four year old is going to love them!

I was going through all of my LEGO sets the other day and had a few pieces that didn't go anywhere. I was able to identify most of them using the instruction .PDFs on LEGOs site. Actually found out I had a SW Landspeeder, the one with the old school jet engine pieces. :) I have one of the brown 2 piece "rocks" that has a yellow-green crystal in it, and I can't find the set it came from! None of the sets I looked at jogged my memory. Maybe the set is older than what they have scanned? I know it was from around 2000 and was a small set. I looked at all of the miners sets and nothing rang a bell, and I don't have any other parts to help me out.
