Well, I messed around with the thing a bit and came up with this. I thought the weird bits on the shoulders were very reminiscent of the original Stringer's weapon, though they might do better replacing the axes.

Well, based on this, I'd say they offer a pallet of ten possible colors, which at least some of the elements can be set as.

For those that are MOCists, yes, you're correct. (Granted I own twenty Squid Launchers, and I can't recall ever using more than eight at once.) What's the person who buys the set for display or play supposed to do with something they don't like? And honestly, I'm running out of shelf space for useless crap. I'm not sure what spiny pieces you're talking about. I wasn't referring to any specific part or set. However, I don't see how removing unwanted elements from a set can't theoretically improve the set. Even assuming that Lego plans what each set will cost prior to their design, the consumer is still going to feel cheated by the unwanted elements occupying a space which could have been filled by more desirable ones.

That's not the point. If I have to sell part of something I purchase then there's something fundamentally wrong with that product.

I don't like paying for things I don't want.

I count 25+ of the newer style ball joint in red on Witch Doctor. <3 There also appears to be a combination of a ball joint and friction pin holding on the wolf thing's back armor.

Way to dig up a topic from four years ago. How did you even find it?Anyway, I'm rather partial to translucent colors myself. Those aside, I prefer basic colors like the standard red, blue, green, etc. The darker ones tend to be far less common and photograph poorly, at least for me.

Very relieved to see that the holes in the armors pass all the way through the pieces. It provides a far more versatile way to attach them to things without having use the socket or bring stuff off the front. Not real sure what to think of the new hand molds. What exactly has changed?
