(MOC) Aliens: Ripleys Powerloader + Alien-Queen + more
misupix replied to misupix's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
Thanks for the nice positive feedback! I'm still proud of this MOC (it still has a special space in my showcase). It's a shame that Ideas rejected it..... Keep your versions coming, I love to see different Legoaliens emerge ;o)- 36 replies

I recently watched the Mad Max Movies again........so I couldn't resist trying to build the V8. I think I ended up with a slightly "Beefed Up" V8 Interceptor. What do you think? So many nice ideas and modifications in this thread. Thanks Took some ideas and worked in mine, too. Wanted to share my AT-ST: Added another joint to allow more leg movement. Tried balljoints first, bit that didn't proof stable enough.....so came up with this solution. Another pose... ...whide strides... This is my Interior, the pilots never forget their Ghetto-Blaster! Family-photo with the Mini-Version. Comments and imorovement-ideas welcome!

I wanted to share some changes on the legs of the big AT-ST:

I finally completed my quest for the famous star-wars vehicles and added the nice new 75153 AT-ST I imediately modded it to fit two pilots (like we all do ;o). Then I thought, why not accompany it by a smaller version and got the 75130 Micro Fighter............but didn't like it very much. So I started to change it..... After several hours came up with this result: (Which doesn't have more then maybe 10 pieces of the 75103 left ;o) AT-ST x2 01 1200 by misupix, auf Flickr It has three leg joints and a swivel head. AT-ST x2 02 1200 by misupix, auf Flickr Here's a shot comparing the proportions: AT-ST x2 03 1200 by misupix, auf Flickr And another family-portrait: AT-ST x2 05 1200 by misupix, auf Flickr Here's my version of the 75153 Interior: AT-ST x2 04 1200 by misupix, auf Flickr AT-ST x2 06 1200 by misupix, auf Flickr I'm still looking for a way to add more movability to the legs of the 75153 (add two more joints, but haven't found a practical way to do it. I don't have many lego-technic-pieces to try things out. So I appreciate every hint how to do it.

Suicide Squad ....inspired by the comics (1st Try)
misupix replied to misupix's topic in LEGO Licensed
Thanks for all the Feedback, much appreciated! I've not been lazy myself, working on extending the Squad. Here's where we are now: I'm still looking for a better Body-Piece for Amanda Waller, I would like a purple-blouse-version but can't find one.... Please mind that I try to build the Comic Versions, not the Movie Versions. -
Suicide Squad ....inspired by the comics (1st Try)
misupix replied to misupix's topic in LEGO Licensed
Okay, this a new Version of King Shark: More like the Comic-Version with trousers and Hands What do you think, I'm still looking for a better Version of Amanda Waller... -
Suicide Squad ....inspired by the comics (1st Try)
misupix replied to misupix's topic in LEGO Licensed
Yes, you're right. This is supposed to be Waller........haven't found a better idea how to portrait her.... BTW: King shark has already changed a lot.......I'll post a refined version soon. -
After reading the fanstastic comics, I had to start building the Squad with Lego... This a quick and dirty 1st try:

What a great thread! thanks for all those nice pictures and inspirations. I just finished my Batpod MOC.......and did a little photostory: Batman met his "friends" and wanted to show of with his new Batpod... ...but his friends had a big laugh, when his ride got stolen by Catwomen... ...all he could do is watch her speed away... But to be honest, she looks much better riding it!

But to be honest, she looks much better riding it! The Batpod is a work in progress. I am very proud to manage to build rotating wheels while the guns don't. I plan on replacing the grey parts with black ones but have to get them first, any suggestions? Hope you like it!

Yes, I did shorten the T-piece at that side.

So many great improvement ideas! Thanks for the feedback. I've now changed a bit myself. Reattached the white bumper because you where right: the movie-car has a white band around the frontbumper. But I also noticed that is has a black Frontspoiler under the white bumper, so I built that too. I'm pretty happy with that look now:

The Walking Dead - my Minifig Creations
misupix replied to misupix's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
These are her "Pet-Walkers", she's had them in Season 3 -
Finally finsihed photographing my TWD-Minifigures. Here's the whole cast (so far): More pictures of the single Minifigures can be found here: http://www.pbase.com/mcschuster/twd__the_walking_dead Hope you like it

Thanks for the feedback! This MOC was inspired by the Gasser of the 50s and 60s: https://www.google.d... hot rod&hl=de-DE&source=univ&tbm=isch&tbo=u&sa=X&ei=CNi0VLTBMs2P7Abd6oGQDA&ved=0CCsQsAQ&biw=384&bih=567&dpr=2 I like the mean look of the raised front, but the front and rear hight is actually adjustable at this built.

...but Elvis took it for a spin! Wanted to share my latest completely Own Built. I don't own a lot of bricks, instead of building an idea, it was a lot like checking what I got and try to use that... But I like the outcome:

Thanks a lot for the Feedback!

While I really like the set 21103, I was never really happy with the look. I think the hood looks awful (for me THE Delorean trademark is the flat inclining hood) and the A-pillars are way to thick. So I made some minor "adjustments": - changed to A-Pillars to something thinner and adjusted to meet the adges of the roof. - flattened the hood to get the DeLorean Look - lowered the "seats" to allow more upright seating for the figures - modified the doors to allow two minifigs to fit in at the same time - changed the front to black (like in the movie) I think the look is much better now, so I wanted to share with you. Let me know what you think.

Hello Stefan, Nice to find another Bavarian here (I live 40km southwest of you)
