A little info I have Just found out from a friend who works at a Coles express store... Tomorrow at their head office there will be a fullsize F1 race Car made from Lego to promote something to do with the Grand Prix here in Melbourne, apparently Coles express will have some sort of Lego Promo going... more details as I get them...

Most likely in the girls section I went to 3 K-Marts today and they were all there now.

From what I have heard the reason K-Mart no longer have fantastic Clearance prices now compared to last year, is because LEGO came down hard on them when they found out they where selling sets below cost. Hence no great deals any more I miss those nice surprises when i scan a random set...

from what i under stand The LEGO Group sell there Sets at full Retail so as not to compete with other retailers (their Main income) because if they do they would get less orders and therefore sell less, and the fact the other retailers are able sell cheaper is because they get bulk order discounts and are able to offer a percentage off sale and in return turn over more stock and in the long run make more profit.

Why would you need to supply the bricks at all, I bet the Magic the Gathering and Yu-Gi-Oh clubs didn't turn up and expect free cards to play with, they would have brought their own. Same with a Lego club, bring your own then work out a way to donate any amount into a pool and let it build from there, or just bring your own pile of bricks and do contests with and take them back home at the end of the day, or better yet when you get a few members up chip in and bid on a bulk lot on eBay or something and spit the cost fair and there is your stock to build with, say you have 5 members they chip in $20 a week or fortnight or month and go hunting for bulk lots. I'm sure you'll get a great range for $100. do that once a month and before you know it you will be swimming in Lego. If funds are hard skip lunch once or twice a week.

For Those who live in Australia!! I recently went to Bunnings and found a very nice draw storage system by a company called TacTix. for the life of me I cannot find any product information about these drawers online anywhere They are great value I feel at $29.95 each and at 485 x 358 160mm are a nice size and are stackable. with 30 small draws and 9 large draws they also have dividers that can be removed, The Small Draws fit 6 x 8 studs wide in each divide or with the divider out, hold 6 x 16 studs wide and fit 3 Bricks high The Large Draws fit 12 x 8 Studs wide in each divide or with the divider out, hold 12 x 16 Studs wide and fit 5 bricks high For those interested the code for them is #BUN-320636 when 3 are stacked on-top of each other they reach about chest height I have been looking around for a long time for some decent draws at a good price and I think this is it, we don't have the luxury of a home depot with choice. I would love to know your thoughts about these if you go pick some up

My Local Big W had the new Star Wars sets in Rancor pit $??, A-wing $38 and Z-95 headhunter for $64... in Melbourne FYI

Hey guys, i'm in the middle of opening Sets to part out for Future MOCs, and i would like everyones opinions on what they do with the minfig weapons and accessories that are with the mini Fig at the start of "building instuctions"? do you keep them with the Fig or do you sort them into types?

I can confirm that they are $19, picked up 2 but they were hidden...

At TRU today in Melb i saw the 4438 Robbers' Hideout it was going for $69.99... is it a TRU exclusive? i hope not..

I just came back from my local Aus Post Office and they have the Star Wars brick master set and Star Wars sticker book for $19.99 down from $29.99 for those who are interested...

just got back from Big W where i saw next weeks Catalogue for the 3rd to the 9th and they had POTC Lego, no % off but i did spot the QAR and the Black Pearl both for $147 each so it looks like they are restocking shelves with POTC to go along with The Black Pearl coming out... happy hunting!!
