commanderneyo replied to BrickBob Studpants's topic in Culture & Multimedia
In response. 1. I planned to post them once I had all of them (Look at my answer below for the reason) 2. I got them all from the Lucasarts Lego Star Wars 3 Beta (From the Achievements where you unlock videos) EDIT: Found This. http://www.theforce.net/topstory/story/LEGO_SW_III_TCW_Han_And_Leia_136573.asp -

Which is your favourite upcoming Lego minifigure in 2011?

Added. Thanks for pointing it out though -
Thanks for these awesome pics Kris Kelvin (Now we just need pics of the Geonosian Starfighter, Echo Base and Naboo Starfighter) I won't be too suprised if Cody will be in it. After all Rex was exclusive to the AT-TE until the Battle For Geonosis came out so Lego probably would have wanted to do the same with Cody instead of creating another New Clone Design (Mold) Anyway here are my opinions based on the new Pictures. Dathomir Speeder: Looks better now that i've seen it in a episode. Lots of stickers which I don't like. Savage looks great and I can finally get a Ventress figure with this set (Pity its not the old one but the old one was crap compared to a custom of the old one I saw which was much better) The new look Anakin looks great now I await sets with the new looks Obi-Wan and Ahsoka in it. (Hopefully this summer we won't end up with a clone army of the new look Anakins) Ewok Attack Love the Ewoks specially Logray. Biker Scouts are always useful (For ARF Trooper MOCs that is) other than that I don't really like this set but I will definitly pick one up. Sith Infiltrator: All the figures are great especially Panaka and Padme (Finally). Maul looks more detailed now and Qui-Gon is really useful as well. But boy those Probe Droids don't look anything of the such and i've never really liked the Infiltrator either. Podracers: Watto Sebulba and Wald all look very detailed. Obi-Wans face isn't great though and Anakin (Child) is decent as well and the Podracers look great Republic Frigate: In my opinion best set of the wave!! Commander Wolffe and the Wolfpack Trooper are great (Finally we are getting more different clone legions and not Normal Clones with no printing. Eeth Koth looks good but not particularly eye catching however i've fallen for the Quinlan Vos figure. That torso is so beatifully detailed Yoda is alright but I got the CW AAT so I don't particularly need him. Millenium Falcon: In my opinion the worst set of the wave IMO: Pretty much a remake of the 2004 version with a few changes made around which believe it or not make it look worse. The only good thing I can say about this set is the new Luke hairpiece it suits him a lot unlike his previous hair pieces, as for Leias hairpiece

That must be one the most absurd things of all time. RexBeatsAll (The owner of Mastertoons) will always continue to host the Clone Wars episodes and he is not even copying them he is just provided Megavideo Links, Zshare etc to the Clone Wars Videos. -
To be fair all the sets we have seen Pictures for are waves thar are coming June/July while Harry Potter ones come in August. Of Course we could still have some by Tuesday

Brickipedia is never true. It just waits for Sites like Eurobricks, FBTB etc to get the news and pictures before they put them up. Sometimes even when someone is right they take it down. Like when I put up that Commander Wolffe of Star Wars was going to be in the Republic Frigate set and Brickipedia says it wasn't but I was proved right in the end Anyway lets get back to discussing the sets: Forbidden Forest: I don't really see much need for this to be made. Narcissa would be great and if Voldemort is in then great as well but a Death Eater over Hagrid would be better. Plus there are so much better stuff to be made than this and there won't be much playability for this set. Knight Bus: I feel this needed a Remake because the old one wasn't great and didn't come with Ernie Prang so if he comes in this one the better plus the new one will be much more detailed. Battle For Hogwarts: Having the two towers is great and would really suit this set plus there are at least a couple of New Figures and New Figures are always welcome with me

Ahsoka will survive the next Episode as in shots in the trailer we see 1. Her on Felucia (Nothing to do with the Mortis arc.) and 2. Fighting Crab Droids with Even Piell (Nothing to do with Mortis arc). -
Star Wars: The Clone Wars: season 3 discussion

Here are the names of the two Episodes after the Mortis arc and they have something to do with the Clones and ARC's we saw in the Second Half Trailer so Even Piell might be involved. http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/The_Citadel http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Counter_Attack Why do some of you hate the Mortis arc?? Its not like they are really destroying canon they or Lucas I should say is changing it for his own benefit. Why can't you lot be happy with the "Action-Packed" Episodes we are getting now especially as they or at least the Savage arc is more action packed than most episodes except for maybe Landing At Point Rain and some of you are being really ungrateful for the action. After all who would want to see Padme just sitting in her Bedroom drinking Tea or something for a whole Episode instead of fast-paced Action? I even remember one of you said something like "I would rather watch Pursuit of Peace again over the Savage arc" That is so stupid. Who would want to watch that over brilliant action like the Savage arc. -
Thanks for an excellent review of an excellent set Masked Builder The New Luminara is way better than the old one IMO it has so much more detail including Leg Printing. Would have been slightly better if the Battle Droid in the last picture had a blaster aimed at Rex's head but with a cannon barrel aimed right at the back of his head I guess it doesn't matter

Here is a Video of the New Sets and Figures EDIT: after just watching it the only set it shows is a few seconds Cameo of the Millenium Falcon how Lame is that?

Which is your favourite upcoming Lego minifigure in 2011?
commanderneyo replied to commanderneyo's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I think its fair to say we can bring this topic back up seeing as we have non-prelim images of the Summer Figures (Most of them) Commander Wolffe and Wolfpack Trooper have been added to the poll (they should have been there all along) EDIT: I have changed "Other Ewok" to "Ewok (Green)" because that is one of its colours and "Other Ewok" seems harsh on such a great looking figure Geonosian has also been added. Its such a stunner on Detail IMO -

Yeah Lucasarts Forum had the name of the code up not days ago but weeks ago so its well known he is a playable character. -
In Rising Malevolence yes but then their Colours were changed to mark the deaths of so many Comrades in that episode.

Told you so that it was Wolffe No Hard feelings anyway here is my opinion on each sets Figures. Naboo Fighter: Not great figures but the Naboo Pilot is great. Anakin is ok but better than his previous Anakin (Kid) Version and I always like Battle Droids that have some sort of colour on them Ewok Attack: Great Figures! The Scout Trooper is the same (Boring that is) but those Ewoks are to die for... The detail on both is superb. Gotta pick this set up just for them. Dathomir Speeder: We've only seen non preliminbay Savage but he looks great as well. The detail all over him is superb and Lego have done amazing with him and that new Horn head piece. I'm already loving that head piece Geonosian Starfighter: Gotta love these Figures The Geonosian is great and so is Ki-Adi Mundi. The detail on the Geonosian is absolutely superb Millenium Falcon: No interest whatsoever. Its not even a new hairpiece for Luke its the same one Ron Weasley of the Harry Potter Theme has but in a different colour (They are at least partially similar) http://images3.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20101002120832/lego/images/5/5f/Ron_Weasley_10217.png Podracers: Watto and Sebulba both look much more realistic now which is great. Obi-Wan looks a bit weird, Wald is ok anmd Anakin is ok as well. Sith Infiltrator: Great Figures Again. Darth Maul looks amazing and much more better now. Padme is at least slightly different from her 1999 Figure. Panaka looks great and Qui-Gon is ok. Republic Frigate: Eeth Koth looks great as does Vos. Wolffe is very well detailed as is the Wolfpack Trooper. Must get Summer Set EDIT: My mistake I accidentaly gave my opinion on the Podracers Figures as if they were the Sith Infiltrator Figures. Thanks Ceroknight for pointing this out for me.
