Marvel Superheroes 2015 Rumors & Discussion

Wow. This deal looks like it might go through! Sony would be Idiots to let Spiderman go and Marvel wouldn't be happy if they did not have creative control over Spidey. -

Yeah. Lego is more concerned with making sets advertising Ultimate Spiderman than the Amazing Spiderman Franchise even though they have the rights to make sets for both. It is so weird how the merchandizing for Marvel works. -

Amazing Spiderman 2 was pretty bad. But the movie suit of Spidey was a comic con exclusive in 2013. I had heard about the Civil War rumour but, When Sony got hacked last week we found out that negotiations between Sony and Marvel had failed. So no Spidey in Civil War -

None of that as actually been confirmed, as Marvel is trying to keep all of the information about Vision secret. For all We know, Tony Stark could create Vision as Well as Ultron. -

We see shots of Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch teaming up with Ultron, Quicksilver punching Ultron and Them screaming in a crowd at something. So probably they get ticked off by The Avengers, Team up with Ultron to defeat the Avengers and then they betray Ultron and team up with the Avengers. The thing with Vision is all we know about him is that he'll be in the Movie. -

The movie rights for spiderman are owned by sony but the merchandizing, comic and TV rights are owned by Marvel/Disney. QS and SW have nothing to do with Spiderman rights. -

Vision will probably look like he does in the film, which will be like this. -

Oooh. That would be cool! Although it looks like a military Helicopter and Lego usually does not do stuff like that. -

It seems Marvel seems to be marketing Vision as a main Avenger in this Movie (backed by he was on a poster with the original Avengers that SW and QS were not on and he is getting 2 Bobble heads.) And not SW And QS, as they are probably going to be teaming up with Ultron in the film. What's also weird is that there is no Minimates Vision, Hulk or SW and QS, but there's a Fury. Hopefully QS and SW are like Baby Groot with GOTG in the sense they don't want to reveal too much by releasing toy listings. -

Specifically which SHIELD veichle? W e got the Truck, Small Jet and Quinhet in Avengers sets and we got The flying Car in a spiderman set. Even though that has nothing to do with Lego, thats news that Nick Fury is getting a minimate (be it Rare) as well as the Iron Legion, meaning we could see both of them in the Lego sets Sorry. We just really love gossiping about Lego! -

Iron Man has had 4 variations of the armour which is a lot for 1 figure in Superheroes range which is nice. But Lego has only put out the TV show version of Spider-Man in the 7 Sets with Spiderman in it. Also in regards to the Rouge Gallery of Spider-man, he and Batman have around the same number of Rouges, but Lego has only made Doc Ock(x2), Venom (x2), The Bettle, Electro and The Ultimate Goblin in Spider man sets but they have The Riddler, Joker, Bane, Man-Bat, Cat Woman, Mr.Freeze, Posion Ivy, Scarecrow and Killer Croc among others in the Batman Rouges category. Personal there needs to be more Comic based Marvel sets, so we can get newer figures not in TV shows or Movies like Mysterio, Fing Fang Foom, Classic Purple Green Goblin, Captain Marvel, Moon Knight, Punisher and Gambit, Which we would (probably) all prefer over another Spider-Man set. -

DC has more iconic characters like Superman, Batman, Flash and Wonder Woman but Marvel has WAY more characters that are marketable like Spider-Man, Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Hulk, Wolverine, Rocket Raccoon and Groot. The reason Lego probably makes so many Batman Sets is because he has such a large rouge gallery (Joker, Bane, Penguin, Solomon Grundy etc) and he has a lot of different variations (Greg and Blue, Black, Scuba, Dark Knight Trilogy, Zebra suit etc) that Lego can make and put in different sets, so children want to buy all the sets to have all of the variations. -

I remember seeing a commercial advertising the Mines of Moria set back on 2012 and The Lake Town Chase set last year. However, in regards to Marvel, I have not seen any advertising for Lego Marvel sets besides one TV spot for the Quinjet in 2012 -

It might not be the same as now but we were getting sets based on Comic Book characters originally made by Marvel. That's a problem as sincev Lego has rights to Warner Bros and Disney Movies and the Movies, Video games and TV Specials are produced by Warner Bros, Lego is more likely to favor them. Meaning we still get sets from Marvel, Star Wars and Disney Princesses but Lego might tilt towards advertising sets from DC, The Hobbit and Lord of The Rings. Also don't the Lego Yoda chronicles air on a Disney network? -

Lego had a Spider-Man license through sony to promote the Spider-Man movies from 2002-2004 back when Lego still used yellow faces for licensed sets. Lego only had the license to just the Batman character from 06-08. Then Lego got the License for all of DC and Marvel. So Marvel has had a lisence with Lego for longer than DC. For why Marvel was not in the Lego Movie it was because Disney did not want it's characters in a Movie made by a rival studio. That is also the Case with R2-D2 as he was in the early script but was cut when Disney bought Lucasfilm. -

I guess Iron Man is the MCU trump card, Spider-man is the Marvel subthemes trump and Batman is the Superhero theme trump card. Does else anyone else think that Lego favours DC more then Marvel? DC has had 2 sets priced over $100 and Marvels most expensive set is $74.99 US. DC has THREE lego video games to Marvel's one. Also Batman was one of the main characters in the Lego Movie, while Marvel had no presence in the movie. (The Lego Movie issue has a lot to do with licensing agreements) -

Except with us on the Mark 43 armour in AOU, I don't think Lego will ever go back and Make the Mark 1, 3, 4 or 5 suits to give us the "original Hall of Armour" from Iron Man 3" Also they could have done a sleeveless Thor and Purple pants Hulk from the Avengers sets. -

Lego has not been Movie or TV show accurate in a while with the small sets in a while. 2012 Avengers: Captain America rides a motorcycle (not featured in the movie) into battle against a Chitari ground cannon! (Not featured in the movie) 2013 Iron Man 3: The Heartbreaker Iron Man suit fights the Mandarin's Battle Buggy! (Not featured in the Movie! As Iron Man and Mandarin Never actually fight face to face!) 2014: Ultimate Spider-Man: Spiderman rides the Spidertrike to stop Electro! (Not only is The Spider Trike totally Obsolete, but it didn't exist before the Lego Set! It was not in the Movies, the TV Show or The Comic books!) [ -

A lone Avengers Assemble set would be weird. But it would be good for variety as we could get some new villians from the show like Nighthawk, Hyperion, The cosmic Skull, Dracula, Crossbones or Thanos! As well as Avengers Assemble Iron Man, Hawkeye, Black Widow or Ant Man. -

Oh, Sorry. Couldn't see the sarcasm sign on mobile. It seems like Iron Man is the Trump Card for Lego, as he was the only Avenger with Two variations in the first wave, only Phase 2 Solo Movie to get sets and will be featured prominently in the new AOU Sets. I guess Kids must really like Iron Man. :) -

Well considering Lego is putting Iron Man in Avengers Tower, The Hulkbuster Smash and Iron Man vs Ultron sets, that means he'll be in 3 out of the 6 sets and they have released 5 Iron Man figures in past sets, Lego is being anything but skimpy on the Iron Man figures. If Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch are SDCC exclusives I will cry. Mainly because they are so cool. -

Yes, he was included in The 3DS versions of the game. Joe Quesada was in the Deadpool level, were Howard the Duck and Vulture invade Marvel Comics HQ Sorry about that, Nebula was not included on the Video Game but she was physically released. With the exception of the Chitari, Sakarrans and Nova Officers, I believe every physically released Lego Marvel figure (to this point) was in the game. -

There were so many characters that should have been in Lego Marvel but were not: Cable, Cloak, Dagger. Nightcrawler, crossbones, Hyperion, Bishop, Rouge, Mole Man, Mockingbird, Baron Zemo, Kang the Conquerer Captain Marvel, Captain Mar-vell, Egghead, Nebula, Dracula, Apocalypse, Namor, Sun Spot, Batroc the Leaper, Agent 13, Crimson Dynamo, Warpath and all of the Age Of Ulton Characters. Yet we got a lot of regular humans like, Fury, Hill, Coulson, Pepper, Gwen Stacey, Mary Jane Watson, Damage Control guys, Howard Stark, J. Jonah Jamieson, Jane Foster and Joe Quesada.
