  1. Seriously, I'm going in to Brighton tomorrow to get this!
  2. Well there have been lots of exclusives for Star Wars (I'm glad I'm not a Star Wars fan, I'd be bankrupt), and several City related ones (although Cafe Corner, Market Street, Green Grocers and Town Plan aren't strictly City, they all fit easily with this theme), and now a Castle exclusive, Pirates could well be in the running for a 2010 exclusive if the new range sells well (as I would think it will).
  3. I'm not a Castle collector, but I'm definitely buying this as it'll work well as a standalone set. I absolutely love the amount of detail that has gone into the interiors, it even beats the Green Grocer on that score.
  4. Awesome! And there was me thinking that the Green Grocer was the best Lego set I was ever likely to own.
  5. I can's see Lego doing Back To The Future, as it's not in the current media spotlight. Ghostbusters could be a possibility once they've made the new film.
  6. I found the Lego store in Brighton yesterday (thanks Mutley) and came home with the Green Grocer. I've spent a total of 6 hours today building the ground and first floor, which surely can't be bad for somebody who hasn't done any proper Lego building for years?
  7. Thanks! I've been to Churchill Square twice in the last year and never knew that!
  8. There is a Lego store in Brighton? Where abouts? There was me thinking the nearest to me was Bluewater.

  10. In Deadwood they were originally going to use profanity from the time, but it was thought they would sound too ridiculous and so put in the modern equivellent, hence the heavy use of 'f' and 'c' words. However once you get into the plot, you do tend to forget about the language.
  11. I'm a Deadwood fan, those are nice models but not that much like the real sets. A tour of the Deadwood set can be found at http://www.hbo.com/deadwood/behind/sets_an...stumes/setTour/ Click on 'Gem Saloon' and 'Star & Bullock Hardware' to see what the real sets look like.
  12. Nice fire station. It reminds of the station in 'London's Burning' and I love that show.
  13. Those models are excellent. I love the Marilyn Monroe :-)
  14. What an excellent forum this is. I've been looking at some of the amazing city models that people have built. I'm Simon, from England and although I've still got a big chest of lego, I'm currently lacking the space to do much with it.
