  1. Here's a pic of the two new trains:
  2. I've finished building them all now, here's a little review of the main models: Auto Pod - The car is quite simple, but it looks cool with the colour scheme and the 1x1 slopes (10 in total - 6 red, 2 orange and 2 trans red). The is a bit of detail on the back, including headlights and a little grill. Dino Pod - The model in this set is also quite simplistically built, but it is effective. The use of the slope on the head is great. There's a couple of black 1x1 slopes in this set. Aero PodThis is very cool. I like the coulour scheme, and there are some good details such as the guns at the side and the engines on the wings and at the back. It's also quite bulky. Robo Pod - I think this is the pod with the most pieces out of this wave. The white and trans blue coulour scheme works perfectly, and th chrome highlights are good. I tried to rate them in an order, but I can't. They're all just as good as each other, so I can't decide between them. I think this might be the best X-Pod wave yet.
  3. Yeah, I remember that. perhaps they used the prototype as a basis for this set.
  4. OK, although it might not be a photo review (I'll try to take photos though :-D )
  5. Hopefully indeed ;) Now I'll wait for the Finnish Line set review with anticipation :P *yoda* Well I'm sorry to disappoint ;) They did have the Finish Line set but I decided not to get it, and I bought the Grand Titan and the new X-Pods instead.
  6. He hasn't seen any pics, he's just assuming what we'll get from what he's seen of the TV show.
  7. Hopefully the Lego Store in Bluewater has the new Ferrari sets, sinc I'm going there tomorrow.

    Batman 2006

There were rumours that a Batcave might be released later on in the year.

    Batman 2006

That list was actually posted on page 16 of this thread, but I can hardly blame you for missing it ;) It's good to see official news about the Batman sets though :)
  10. I don't think it would have mattered anyway:
  11. Welcome to EB! But may I ask, what was this all about? This doesn't look like it was even written by you, so I was just wondering.
  12. . . . what? That sentence made no sense, plus this is a 5 month old thread. I think I'll lock this.
  13. I've just noticed that LEGO are exhibiting at the London Toy Fair on 25th January: http://www.britishtoyfair.co.uk/files/ Perhaps this could be our first glimse of the new Batman sets?
  14. Assuming there is a Vikings II ;)
  15. The new Knights have been on European S@H for a while: http://shop.lego.com/leaf.asp?cn=192&d=7&t=3 You can see them in more detail there, although you have to change your settings to a European country to see them.
  16. Do you mean that there are no NEW Vikings? Because the old Vikings are still in the catalogue: http://festum.de/1000steine/myimages/1-200...06_1_de_042_043
  17. I don't think we have to either, European's sets come from Germany, I think.
  18. I thought it was pretty good. It was funny, with some good special effects. I thought the sword fight was AWFUL, but other than that it was good.
  19. Yeah, the press release said it was for kids aged 7-11 and it mentioned minifigs, so I guess it will be System.
  20. Don't worry, the real US prices will be much lower, since us Europeans have to pay much more for LEGO. The prices are more likely to be around: Hero Tank: $30 Striking Venom: $50 Sentai Headquarters: $90 But think, the prices you wrote down will be what Europeans have to pay for the sets *wacko*
  21. OK, I've got a problem. I'm left with two 1x1 dark greay cylinders, and the instructions says that there are 8 included. I can only find six: 2 on each wing (where it connects to the ship) and 2 at the front just infront of the green curves. That makes 6, so where do the other two go? EDIT: Found them. They go on the bottom of the ship.
  22. Sets I'll definitely be getting: - A-wing (the only January 2006 SW set I don't have) - Sailbarge (great figs, and the Barge, Skiff and Sarlaac look awesome) Other sets I'm considering getting: - New X-Pods - 7893 Passengar Plane (I might not get it since it's a bit big and I don't have much room) - One of the Exo-Force mechs - Striking Venom (also unlikley because of how big it is) - Sentai Headquarters (ditto) - Hero Tank - Batman sets (most likely Batwing and the Batmobile, but I might get the others for the figs) - 6211 Imperial Star Destroyer (I've already got the UCS one) - Ferrari Finish Line (should go well with my Ferrari Truck) - Ferrari 430 Spider (should go well with my Enzo)
  23. There's some other good deals in there as well, like the Viking Fortress for
  24. I was also thinking about getting the base for that blue mech. It looks great (the best mech in the whole line IMO), but
  25. The sequel was going to be called "Son of Kong", and the second sequel was going to be called "Into the Wolf's Lair" :-D But there aren't going to be sequels ;) What is this book? Are you sure it's not Peter Jackson's Production Diaries?
