Didn't we know that already? The AT-TE comes with Rex and a regular clone, and the RGS comes with Cody and a regular clone.

Speed Racer was amazing. Speed Racer has to be one of the most unfairly criticised films in recent memory. It's a real shame it tanked at the box office. Critics hated it as well. But I'd really suggest you go see it. Not only does it have the best action sequences that you're ever likely to see, it actually has a very well told story and genuine heart. It's not an exaggeration to say that this film was groundbreaking. Obviously the thing that first draws you into this film is the visuals. If these screenshots don't appeal to you, then I suggest you don't see the film at all, because the whole film looks like this. For those of you who love the style though, this film is a visual treat. Obviously the Wachowskis weren't going for realism. This is like a live action anime, with everything from the colours to the "talking head" scene transitions. The film stays true to the spirit of the cartoon, with silly humour and campy acting. But this all adds to the fun. What immediatly strikes you about the film (other than the colours!) is the story. From the opening scene, in which the Wachowskis incorperate numerous flashbacks, we see the story of Speed's older brother Rex. This is genuinly heartwarming, and it seems the critics completed missed this amongst the bright colours and flashy editing. The action sequences are incredible. There are four races in this film, as well as two fight scenes, each as incredible as the last. VERDICT: ***** Unless you're alergic to bright colours and fast editing, see this movie. Ignore the critics. Ignore the box office. See it for yourself and make up your own mind. It's like nothing you've seen before. You won't be disappointed.

Pepa Quin from FBTB built one himself using the instructions: http://flickr.com/photos/pepa_quin/2399843781/ A few pieces are the wrong colour, but it looks pretty good.

I'm very surprised at the UK price though. It's "only" £150, the same as the US price.

The Shaak Ti fig is defnitely a custom. I think it was by an FBTB member called Tothiro.
-
The magnets are pretty much identical to normal figs, except you can't separate the torso from the legs. Everything else can be removed, I believe. You can see the magnets through the hole on the back of the figs' legs, but that shouldn't be much of a problem.

I don't get your point. The original Death Star came out in 2005 :-P The old set had the number 10143, this one is 10188. They're different sets ;-) -
I don't think the set will be $130. That was the price at the exchange rate, but we all know that the exchange rate doesn't mean much to TLG ;-) For instance, the site it came from (click here) lists the Rogue Shadow as R749.99, which is about $95, when we all know the set cost $50. The Twilight is R1099.99, or $140. So the set will probably cost around $80-$90 ;-)

Any news or photos on Toy Fair London or NYC??

TLG decided to stop making sets after the release of Order of the Phoenix. -
The smaller space set shown above is probably a mini vehicle included in one of the bigger sets.

Check out jaydubya's post here: Also, the factory site has this up in its news section:

The main reason they don't have the neck guard is so you can fit on the piece seen in tis pic:

LEGO will be releasing some fan designed Space sets in April under the Factory theme! Discuss the news here. Edit by Hinckley: There are teasers pics for the new sets and the designers are discussing the new set with us in this thread. Edited by Jipay

Count Blockula's got some great videos from Toy Fair here: http://countblockula.com/fbtb/toyfair/2008/vids.htm There's lots of great functions such as the convertible car's roof, the ferry opening, the spinning blades on the Jungle Cutter, the V-19 Torrent wing/landing gear mechanism, etc.
