  1. I completely missed this thread. Thanks everybody! X-D
  2. I think the walking motion looks good. It looks quite a lot like how the actual AT-AT walks. It looks better in this video, I think.
  3. Those of you in Europe can now order the new Motorised Walking AT-AT on S@H. You can also view EB member lucajuventino's pics on Brickshelf, as well as two videos of the set in action! Discuss it here.
  4. Thanks for the pics and videos lucajuventino! This set is very cool, but I'm not sure I'll get it as I have the old AT-AT already.
  5. Did I say they weren't built by fans? They're still prototypes. http://news.lugnet.com/ambassadors/?n=70
  6. The last two aren't 2008 sets.
  7. In the excitement of posting this news I forgot to post my own opinions :-P Motorcycle Chase - Excellent set, two bikes and a Sean Connery figure. Probably won't end up getting it, but I can see why plenty will ;-) Indiana Jones and the Lost Tomb - You can't make out much in the pic, but it looks promising. Strange that this one is cheaper than the truck chase set though ($19.99 and $29.99, respectively), considering it's got more pieces. Race for the Stolen Treasure - This set is just brilliant - the best of the bunch! The two vehicles are some of the best that LEGO have produced. I can also see the gold treasure chest in the back of the truck. The back section of the truck looks interesting. It looks plastic to me, but the way it curves around on itself suggests that it's cloth. We'll see. Temple Escape - The picture's too small to make out the details, but it should be good. What can see looks good. So overall these sets are fantastic. Way to go LEGO, and lets hope the IJ4 sets are just as good!
  8. Thanks for the pic. It's a cool figure!
  9. Good review so far! I'm looking forward to part two!
  10. Yes, that is the prototype for the Volkswagen. I hope the final model is more rounded and sleek, though.
  11. Other pics?
  12. batsamd at FBTB spotted that CoolToyReview.com have the first pics up of the new Indy line. The pics are small, but give you a good idea of what the sets are like. Click here to discuss the news!

Edit by Hinckley: in the interest of heading off dupe topics, I've changed the title of this thread and posted all official pics in this first thread:
  14. Fantastic work Paul! It's amazing how much better this set looks when you add a few pieces. I'll have to try something like this myself (when get the set ;-))
  15. $50-$60? I reckon it would sell for $20-$25.
  16. Well here's what DJSaulTNutz said about it before: Trooper, Basically you get stormies, some blue, bley and black pieces with the Empire logo, and a little cockpit with windshield (tinted) ....the stormies ride on the sides of it...kinda like a mini helicopter dropship thingie.... Its just an excuse to sell minifigures.......which works for me!!! It seems to fit pretty well.
  17. TRU exclusives always show up on S@H. I wouldn't really count on it appearing anywhere else.
  18. I saw at the LEGO Store in Bluewater (they had a sign up advertising it) that it's going to be
  19. As far as I know, the only countries that have LEGO Stores are Germany, Russia, USA and the UK.
  20. But it also says that "The first of these issues will release November 2007." So no false advertising ;-)
  21. I really don't think LEGO would want to release any more exclusives this year. It's already been an expensive year, we don't want more! :-P
  22. The sets probably won't be out for quite some time, so don't go expecting pics any time soon. We haven't even got the January 2008 pics yet ;-)
  23. You can just about see the back of the box in this one: And here's a video of the timed build, which gives you an idea of how the MF comes together: http://www.1000steine.de/forum2/forum_entry.php?id=21087
