Golden Mask of Time is worth more. The Orange one was given away a lot, but the Golden Vahi was only found in some Vahi sets (with a disk of time) and the 400 piece tub.

Ah, Lewa, the one set I thought was the worst myself. However, looking at it now, I must say, it isn't the worst. I think Lewa brings something new to the table, while still keeping the general old feel he had. The axes aren't the best, but they still get he point across, and I quite like the new color scheme. Sure it may not be mata green, but I think this green works out just fine. The mask, used to be my least favorite, but looking at it now, it's not that bad. Personally, I find the Akaku to be my least favorite, dunno, I just don't like it. As for the construction itself, it seems to work out alright. Not a fan of the way they did his "wings" and flying this time around though, it seems incredibly lazy. Also, the Powered Up mode seems alright. He goes well with his Protector, and that's a great thing too. Overall, Lewa isn't my favorite, but he isn't my least favorite. If I had to have a least favorite, it would be Pohatu, but that's merely because he's the least impressive and ground breaking, nothing more. I must say, I am highly jealous of that tatoo. I concur. The Original Kakama is my favorite mask as well, and I own all 10 colors of it :3

Not bad. I like how you managed to use Magenta so well, dispite it being mostly (if not exclusively) in System parts. Only complains are that the textures aren't the best, and the weapon is kind of weak looking. Otherwise, not bad.

LOSS is A LOT better than I had been expecting. From earlier photos of concept art and of the set, I wasn't a fan, but now I can say I'm generally impressed. I like how he looks, he pulls off the antagonist look pretty well. However, it's a sad shame that the articulation is so limited on him, it would of been better if it could have moved more. Overall, not as bad as I was expecting, but it could be better.

The art style is close to that of the Slizer comics. Otherwise, I don't know what else it looks like to me. Either way, I dig the new art style, it's a great look.

A VERY informative, well put review. I like how you displayed new/interesting parts, and the shot where you showed the 01 Akaku next to the 2015 Akaku. It really shows the difference in the two molds.

I concur, I wish Mask Packs were returning. Some of these masks would look smashing in other colors than those they come in. It's a matter of opinion though. My theory on why Lego isn't making them is because of budgets. They don't wanna spend too much on a pack of mask when they can keep up a solid two colors for one set (normal and gold variants of said set's mask) and in the long run, probably save money. That may not be why, but it's a theory I have thought about.

I see next up is LOSS and Lewa. I look forward to seeing the LOSS review, not for the set, but for your opinion on it, VBBN. Lewa looks pretty okay, but I still think he could be better. We'll see how things turn out.

I really dig Pohatu this time around. I'm overjoyed to see the return of Dark Orange to constraction, and the addition of the new trans neon green bones is nice. Boomerang parts look pretty nice as well, I can see several uses for those. The set itself is pretty alright. It could be a bit more organized however, not that I don't like asymmetry, but he could REALLY use more Dark Orange instead of orange. The powered-up variant is one of the better ones honestly, because it's so simple and yet so effective. I think the weapon works with him better than it did the PoS. Just a matter of opinion though. Overall, great review, pretty good set.

Solid review. I sadly can't say the same for the PoF however. The model looks incredibly awkward, especially on the front of the box (The right arm). I agree with others in saying he'd benefit with shoulders. Also, the back could really use armor. Overall though, not the worst set, could be better.

That is, indeed, quite a shame. I HAD 2 Technic Rotor parts, but they both broke somehow (I got them from Axalara T9, so I blame the bad 08 plastic). I think it might've been better using hordika necks instead of glatorian necks though.

Looks good, but is the axle on the bottom there because it has to be? Or is it there for extra CCBS shell attachment or for extra Technic to go there?

Ya know, I never saw it that way before. Good points. You may just be correct, and it may just be because of the price/cost of things.

I think that's one of the things that gets me as well, along with others. Lego could have used one of these and the arms would have most likely ended up looking better. It's a matter of opinion though, because these smallest CCBS bones can also make the arms a tad too long. But it will only bother those who are OCD about proportions.

I must concur, specifically with what Aanchir said in his reply. I've seen photos of PoF here and there, and yeah, the arms aren't good and look awful without elbows. I don't see why Lego cut off elbow joints for any of them personally, all of them could've had elbows. Oh well, that's the way the cookie crumbles, I assume.

Indeed, Gali's "Powered Up" form is the best. I think the way they used the weapon from the protector with her weapons just works better. In fact, it reminds me a tiny bit of Lesovik (I think that's his name) from 07. It reminds me of something similar to that effect. I just like the idea behind it.

I find it kind of a disappointment that the Protectors and Masters don't fuse more parts with one another. It's literally just the Masters holding the weapons of the Protectors, and nothing more. I'm sure Lego could have done more in that department, seems disappointing that they didn't. Oh well, to each their own. I must say though, Kopaka probably has the best fusion, and Tahu has the worst, of the 3 larger sets anyways.

Honestly, I adore the Protectors. I think they're just as good as the Masters/Toa, if not better in some ways. I'm surprised they've been this good. Then again, that's my opinion.

Indeed. It would be nice to see a newer version of this element however, maybe without the rubber/patterns. I'd love to see it make a comeback, I use it quite often myself. Only time will tell if Lego decides to use it again.

That's pretty much how I felt when I first noticed it. The mask will be so much more versatile and useful this time around, the possibilities are endless near about.

It really depends on if you want one or not. I'd like one myself, but it's not exactly something everyone MUST get, if you know what I mean? It's entirely up to you, but I myself think it's a swell mask.

I'm personally gonna try and go for all of them. Ones high on my list however include Gali, Kopaka, Pohatu, Protector of Earth, and Tahu. In no particular order. Although, I feel as though all these sets are pretty good.

Really looking forward to that Pohatu review. He seems like a great set. Fire Protector looks weird in my opinion, but alright overall.

This is a Protector I've been rather curious about. It meets my expectations well, and looks like a fun set. However, it wouldn't of been hard to give it back armor. Otherwise, great set.
