  1. The interiors look great! the design for the chimney is absolutely brilliant
  2. Thanks guys! I really appreciate the complements. It took me over five times rebuilding the waterfall and the larger cliff face until I got them to a satisfying level. I also wanted to try expanding my color palette with the water, rocks, and grass from my usual old blue, grey, and green. Overall, I am very happy with how this one turned out
  3. Dr. Zoey Xing filing in my report after several months of remote research on the water world, Lorstan II. I set up my remote research lab on the largest island I could find. My lab is safe from the changing tide high up on the cliffside. The small river that runs through to channel the island's runoff is also the perfect temporary power source for the lab. The islands are anchors for an impressive variety of plant life in a vast, dessert-like ocean. The sea life and aquatic plants are constantly washing up from the extreme tidal changes. One particular species that stands out in the mix on this planet is the "black bamboo" as previously discovered by fellow Kawashita member: Zepher. This growth is actually a variety of fungi that shoots up from deep under ground and is extremely water-absorbant. When physically connected to its water supply, these things can grow to great hights! Their cellular structure is the key to this absorption property the fungi possess. I think we can use the material that it grows to efficiently extract vast amounts of water from this planet while simultaneously filtering it. Please, feel free to check out more photos and details here!
  4. Thanks for the welcome and support everyone! I'm super excited to get involved with Andromeda's Gates and start posting MOC's
  5. Dr. Zoey Xing, scientist reporting in for Kawashita! My degree is in botany, although I can easily conduct research in a variety of areas: meteorology, mineralogy, marine biology, as well as engineering and mechanics. I had already begun conducting some personal research on the largest island I could locate on Lorstan II (as it is mostly one massive ocean). As a happily added new member, I am pleased to inform you that my current research may prove to be rather beneficial for the Kawashita Corporation! There is a variety of plant life here, including the black "bamboo" reported earlier by Jiri Synder. It appears that these extensive, black colored shoots of growth develop as more of a fungus, but they are nourished by the salty ocean breeze and can somehow withstand the harsh direct sunlight. I will report back when I have more data. - Zoey Xing

  7. Hello everyone! I'm new to eurobricks and I saw this community building game. Needless to say, I think it's absolutely awesome! 8. Hello everybody! My name is DME. I have been observing and admiring the eurobricks website for some time now, and I have to say it is really exciting to join and start posting myself! I am a 22 year old m, residing in the United States. I have been collecting and playing with LEGOs since the 90s and I almost stopped when I was 16, because I thought I was "getting too old for LEGO." But this website and similar sites showed me that there is a whole world of AFOLs, where LEGO is used worldwide: not only as a toy, but as a medium for art. The beautiful and inspiring creations of the online LEGO communities kept me from ever loosing my interest (even with my completely out-of-wack teenage ideals at the time). I cannot show enough gratitude and respect to all the awesome people who take LEGO to new heights with their creations. With that being said, I am excited to finally be using my own LEGO collection to make MOCs and use my creativity beyond displaying Star Wars sets. I am sincerely looking forward to becoming a greater part of this community and sharing my LEGO creations with everyone!
