Product Recall of 8879 PF IR Speed Remote Control
Cyclone Titan replied to ILikePi's topic in General LEGO Discussion
[spoiled brat voice] No! Daddy promised me that I would get my remote! Pushing around by hand is stressing!!![/spoiled brat voice] In all honesty, Front, I really wanted this remote due to the speed control aspect, as I collected old remote controlled trains when I was young, but no Lionel set's seemed to have speed control. CT PS: And I wanted it because it was big and fancy. -
Product Recall of 8879 PF IR Speed Remote Control
Cyclone Titan replied to ILikePi's topic in General LEGO Discussion
You. Must. Be. Kidding. Me! I have waited for this product anxiously since May 18th (my birthday) after I ordered the Emerald Night collection! 1st it's on back-order. 2nd, they give me a complimentary remote and say I'll get my real remote at the end of this month. 3rd. THIS! I don't freaking care if SOME of these have overheated! I have waited forever for this and it gets recalled. Nice job Lego. You have successfully pissed me, and maybe some other buyers of the EN Collection off. Such excellent customer service! CT -
When I was 4, I was tooling (no pun intended) around with my Dad's power tools. I found his electric drill and started playing with it, I put it up to my eye... turned it on, and somehow... nothing bad happened other than my eye hurting a bit for an hour, future damages, maybe? When I was 7, my Dad and I went to the Dog Park to see our new dog play, I was fooling around and running on (flat) rocks that they had there. I kept running. After a few rounds of the circular rock running, a dog ran (jumped) into me and clipped me. I ended up with a fractured shoulder. CT

... is go fifty years into the future to see what disasters have happened, and be prepared montths before it happens, and get everyone the heck out of there. Why don't you just go back in time and kill Andromeda while he's sitting on the crapper? In all honesty, I've never been afraid of the world ending. Mainly because I doubt it'll happen for another 5 billion years. I mean if I saw Andromeda colliding with Earth right now, I'd be really freaked out. But seeing as I doubt it happening in my lifetime, I just live life without the paranoia or fear, it works! Try it for $9.99! CT

Scrollcase Technique
Cyclone Titan replied to Luke McAwesome's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Good idea. I think it works quite well, and it's simple. I think it's these simple, yet innovative ideas that will make the future of Minifig customizing. My only peeve is the tape at the back, but it's only a minor one because-- a. You can cut the tape anyway. b. Will anyone even see the back? Good idea! CT -
I'd love to audition. Before I join though, how much do we get? All joking aside, I'd love to join, and this sounds great, but what's .midi or .wav? Thanks, nice idea! CT

For those of you who don't know who he is, this link I found should help one to better understand who he was. CT

Sorry Computerbug, I meant Bob. I'll edit my post. CT -
Happy 10th Anniversary, SpongeBob SquarePants!
Cyclone Titan replied to Justin's topic in Culture & Multimedia
I like the show because the comedy appeals to both children and adults alike, so long live Spongebob! Here's to 10! And maybe 20! CT -
The death topics seemed to go in community, soooo.... However, Mods, if this is better suited in Culture and Multimedia, feel free to move it. CT

Walter Cronkite, one of America's favorite anchormen is dead. He died of an illness (I don't know what illness, though). I am rather sad seeing as I watched some footage of him from the early years, and he was great and unbiased. On another note- It seems this Summer isn't about joy, but rather, death. RIP Walter CT

Although I'm not part of the story, I've been following. It's nice, the development and all. Bob the Construction Man--City 17? Good choice, as you will meet a "Freeman" with a crowbar there. CT -
I like both. The jetpack is nice. Although, I think it's on the front due to the fact one cannot see the detail on the back. CT

What book are you reading right now?
Cyclone Titan replied to Norrington's topic in Culture & Multimedia
I've read a few of those, they're not too shabby. CT -
Those seem like some nice experiences, any others want to share their good experiences with EB members? CT

That's amazing! I don't know why, but I find myself laughing at it! Maybe it's the humor I find in the car, sign, or telephone line. All is superbly done, and it really gives out a deserted vibe. Hope to see more from you! CT

It's your death, not mine. CT

That's beautiful! I take it this is from the 'Bad' era? If so, you did a perfect replica of the man in Lego. I especially like the way you did the jacket and the string used as hair! Great job! CT

There appear to be a few other video game topics, so I thought I would make one for the phenomenon we know today as, "The Orange Box". Talk about Half-Life 2 along with it's other episodes, Portal, Team Fortress 2 and cake. CT

Always nice to see that kind of spirit (unless it's faux because you know since I'm a kid it'll shut me up for the day...)! Well, I might see if I can bid. Though my wallet as of yet is pretty much broke because of how much I spent on the summer sets.... Broke wallets and Chicago ON! CT

I'm aware. I was just expressing my woes that you were moving away! God, I didn't even have a eulogy ready! I'm a horrible forum member! Well, I'm happy that you're going to do what you have (hopefully) always dreamed of doing, and I hope to see some models from you when I visit the park next. CT

Actually, I'd say Imperial Shadows, after the studio realizes they don't need him. Very nice series here. The concept of 'Minifig meets real world' is nice and intriguing, I hope to see more. CT

Why California? Chicago is the Second and best city! Everybody knows that too! Well, this looks nice. I'll be keeping my eye on this auction, the sets are veery inteeresting... CT

Welcome to Eurobricks. We have an unnofficial motto that I made up, but if anyone asks, it was Natman--"Eurobricks is a drug, once you're on, you're hooked, then you go to rehab to cure your addiction and you don't come back on... EVER AGAIN..." Hope you enjoy your stay here, like Tom Bricks said, why don't you tell us a bit about yourself? CT
