HYPE HYPE HYPE. I actually like the sound of "Ekimu." Was expecting something bigger for these guys though, they look like the size of the Protectors... oO Okoto looks very Mata Nui-esque.

IIRC, Vakama and the other Turaga knew of its existence. The other Matoran had had their memories wiped after the whole incident with the Matoran spheres and all. So, when they woke up on Mata Nui, all they knew were the Turaga and what the Turaga told them. Once it was rediscovered by Takanuva, Vakama ended up having to spill some secrets to everybody. Enter the Metru Nui story/2 years of flashbacks.

Interesting... I assume the rest of the documents found are accurate now as well. I'm actually really looking forward to the mini animations. Hoping for stuff like the original Toa Mata CGI stuff. I remember buying Tahu as my first Bionicle set, starting up the mini CD from the can, entering his mask code and watching that... It was awe-inspiring, I'd never seen anything like it. If LEGO can recreate that feeling for new customers, they've got this down.

Hi! New here, joined to take part in the Bionicle 2015 discussion. ^^; I've been a Bio fan since 2001, when I saw Tahu on the shelves at my local Walmart... Excited to see it coming back!! It's nice to see finalized set pics... They definitely look better than what we saw previously. That said, I'm still not too keen on the overall aesthetic. I guess bright, loud color combinations are "in" more these days, compared to the much cleaner designs of the old days of Bionicle. I really am curious if LEGO will be putting out books, despite the above "leak" being false. >.<
