Now that there's been several new official Marvel (and DC?) sets come out, anyone else getting antsy about when we're going to see copied sets from SY and others? Star Wars is great and all, but don't forget all the superheroes! And I'm not talking about more existing minifigs in mechs or transparent versions.

LOVE IT!!! The modified hall of armor slots of the big figs looks GREAT!

I'm sticking only to the cinematic Iron Man suits, so the SDCC, Avengers Assemble, and Rescue bootleg versions aren't included in this. The Decool Igor big fig is not included in this, but I have a few spare hall of armor slots that I have been planning to make a custom housing for him to be included at some point. Through IM3, there were 42 different cinematic versions, and A:AoU added another 3 (mark 43, Hulk Buster, and mark 45). (Hulk Buster obviously won't fit in here either, whether you're doing the Decool big fig video game version or the official 76031 version.) Civil War will introduce at least one more mark (46?), and I'm guessing at least one more for Infinity War. That's 47 different suits, not including War Machine / Iron Patriot versions, so I'll need at least 48 hall of armor slots. If you're including everything (non-Tony Stark suits and Elephant mash-up suits), you'll need even more.

At some point, I'll probably try and remove the printing with Brasso and print decals of each suit's name, but that won't happen until the hall of armor is close to being done, probably.

They definitely exist. Anyone know any place that still sells them? I was hoping to pick them up on eBay, but I haven't seen any place that sells them now. :(

But not always, actually. "Ant-Man Final Battle - 76039" had Hank Pym in a similar Ant-Man suit, but that never happened. "Iron Man: Extremis Sea Port Battle - 76006" had Aldrich Killian using a boat to fight Iron Man and War Machine. That didn't happen. And "Iron Man vs. The Mandarin: Ultimate Showdown - 76008" had the (cinematic) Mandarin fighting Iron Man in some vehicle. That definitely didn't happen. There are plenty of sets that are inspired by the movie, but that doesn't necessarily mean they are exactly as shown in the movie. Also, if it says "leaked" are you are wary of spoilers because you think they "always" show spoilers, don't look at the image.

Agreed. I made a custom one (based on your MOC, I think... sorry if I'm giving the wrong person credit): I'll probably use the torso and legs from the new xinh set, and try and get Finn's hair from B&P. At least until there is something more movie accurate released.

It's less than a dollar. I'm not remotely that picky for that price. If a better one comes out for a reasonable price later, I'll replace it with the better one. :)

I'm planning on buying the set just for that minifig.

I haven't played a LEGO game that isn't a lot of fun. (Although some of the flight and racing mechanics in the first Marvel game weren't great.) Even though I already have the SY/Decool Silver Centurion, I'm pre-ordering to get the official version.

The new LEGO Avengers game cover both Avengers movies, both Captain America movies, Thor: Dark World, Iron Man 3, and I have heard from a couple different places that there will be some Agents of SHIELD and Agent Carter content in there, as well.
