Does anyone know of any reference pictures to work from/Other the movie stills?, i search the net but comes up with indian soldiers of course, also prop stores for detailed photos of the POTC stuff but nout again

Hi all, I was wondering if anyone had come up with any East India Company Troops? from the POTC films?, or knew of any Template torsos to use?, On that note i also am wondering if the troops used in the films were real or not?, Is that how the real East India company dressed there troops? There just designs, please dont think they are yankee, denamark/Europe have no buisness there and of course the blue uniform of the US were taken from French handouts

What do you find is the Best type of string/rope to use? for rigging onbaord ships? Thanks Joergen

For me the current red coats with the epalettes that are blue, are Danish But replace the blue with white epalettes and they are PERFECT English line infantry. Also english/french troops of 1600-1700 would were tricone hats not shako. Lukemax

Hi all, Great site btw :) Theres talk on various uniforms/coulers but has anyone got "pictures" of there own versians of troops they have? I get a new camera soon so i will add some of my Mocs soon. The only personnal trooper i have done, was painting a crap red-coat all orrid pieces that were manky, basicly painted it gerren, looked quite good after all :) Other then that i made 95th rifles useing the pirate captains torso and brown epalettes, that basicly adding the shako and backpack + Black legs. However to buy shako's/Backpacks and muskets is tough lol, all expensive on bricklink and hardly ever on Ebay! Thx Lukemax
