  1. That's exactly the kind of room I hope to build some day. Really, really well done.
  2. That looks really good already. But I'd add some more color, like one dark red or a dark green part of the model. I know that it's hard to see in the movie but the Nebulon-B isn't entirely grey.
  3. Amazing build. It just looks like the real one. There's really nothing I can think of to improve it. Excellent job.
  4. It looks so much better now. The shape is really close to the original now. Great job!
  5. Hi, I'm in the process of building a mini MOC right now. Well, actually I'm almost done building it but there is one part of the build I'm not really happy with. But I can't think of any way to do what I want to do. What I'm trying is to connect these pieces, attaching the stick to the side of the wing plate. The problem is that by design I can't put anything on top or under the wing plate. So I guess it'd only be possible to use an illegal connection. Still, I don't know if even that's possible. For now I'm using http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=63868 with a 2x2 corner next to it as a replacement, but that doesn't quite fit with the angles I'm looking for. That's why I hope someone here can help me with that problem. Thanks in advance, Kexikus
  6. Great build. The training room looks really cool. Reminds me of the one seen in TCW with a little more details that make it look more realistic. But the best part are certainly the Stormdroids. They look soooooo cool
  7. Great review. I have to agree that the two race cars look best and I especially like the Formula 1 car, it's just cute. But I'm pretty sure that those sets are available in Germany aswell. Or atleast they'll be. I saw a poster of them while driving past a Shell station.
  8. So, here it is, my first MOC. It's certainly not the first one I build but the first one I publish here and ironically it's creation was kind of an accident, but more on that later. First of all, here's a picture: As you might see (or have read in the thread title ) it's a Clone Z-95 starfighter seen in some TCW episodes. Since it's a mini model, it's obviously quite small. Or to be a little more exact, it's 10 studs long and 14 studs wide and consits of 45 pieces. And before I'll show some more pictures, I wanted to tell you about this model's creation. As I already said, it was kind of an accident. That doesn't mean that I did not want to build a Z-95 but I intended this model to be part of a project I'm working on and which I'll hopefully present here some day. Anyway, I wanted to build a clone Z-95 for this project and after some time I came up with this MOC. And that was the point when I realised that it was actually too small. The model should have been 14 studs long and so I built another one. But I also really liked this version and that's why I decided to post it here on EB. And now on to some more pictures: I hope you like it and if there's any interest (and someone who could tell me where to do that) I could also upload the .lxf file somewhere.
  9. Great model. I love the details on the lower front part. They look amazing. The back looks cool too, although I imagine it'd be quite heavy. But I guess it holds together since you already posted a picture of your concept model. One thing I'd change is the size of the very front. I think you should enlarge that one a bit, it just seems a little too small to me.
  10. I don't think I'll buy any of those sets except for maybe the Mini AT-AT. Not that I don't like the sets but I just don't buy LEGO sets anymore, simply because I have so many other things to spend my money on. I also don't really like the Microfighter series but that one looks too cute to pass up I also really like the AT-DP and the Skyhopper. They both look great and seem to have cool minifigures (has been way too long since the last Tusken). I only hope that the womp rat will be more like those in the LEGO Star Wars games and not a simple rat. The one set I don't like is the AAT. It just looks way out of proportion to me, the base seems too small for the rest of the tank, but maybe it looks better in real life. But I guess it's fine that it is so small, since it fits with the new MTT that way. Oh and I'd never thought that we'd see Anakins Azure Angel from LEGO ever, but I really like that they finally release it, gives me hope for Ventress Givinex fighter too.
  11. Thanks for the warm welcome One thing I totally forgot: I also did some brick-filming (if that's the correct term) some years ago. We didn't finish the movie but we may do that in the future.
  12. Hi everyone, my name is Kexikus. I'm a 20 years old student from Germany and LEGO fan for most of my life. I started playing with LEGO ages ago, collecting different themes as a kid and building dinosaurs, airplanes and whatever came to my mind. Later I fell in love with the Bionicle theme, resulting in an almost complete Mata Nui collection. While I lost interest in the later Bionicle releases, I started to become a big Star Wars fan and obviously started to buy Star Wars sets. I stopped doing that in the last years and while I didn't pay much attention to LEGO, I never lost all interest in those little blocks. And over the last year or so I rediscovered my love for LEGO. I still don't buy sets except for very special occasions but I started to create MOCs from what I have at home and also with LDD, hoping to buy these MOCs for real in the future :) Now I finally created my account here on Eurobricks to become part of your great community of LEGO fans :D Kexikus
