  1. I am having a hard time finding good, modular and relatively inexpensive tables for my Lego city. Building them is probably out of the question unless it is dead simple, since I am not too handy. Anyone have any recommendations?
  2. Lola will be basically the exact same build as Nick Fury's car from that spiderman set a while back
  3. Bump from the dead, found this thread via Google. Viewing Lego as a toy, this style makes so much more sense to me vs. the traditional modular style. I am always tempted by modulars but then remember that they usually just sit there collecting dust because they are a pain to take apart and my son losest interest. I actually did a modular/hinged back combo last haloween for a custom spooky house for the CMF monsters, and it really is the best of both worlds for display and playability.
  4. Has anyone ever designed or printed backgrounds to display behind or underneath your sets, in order to make them look like the box art? Many sets look great on the box due to all the extra scenery/colors in the background, but it would be a brick wasting, time consuming pain in the a$$ to replicate this. As far as i know Lego does not release box images in any downloadable form, but I would love it if they would either make the background images available, or include posters with large & USC sets to give a nice backdrop. The same can be said for the ground floor area. I know Lego has released playmats, but a poster to show ground and paths would be a welcome addition to many sets. What do you guys think?
  5. I went into this topic hoping to feel good about my lego spending, now I realize things may be a bit out of control!. Some moths i spend 50, others can be 400 or more. I'm not rich either. Can the other irresponsible Lego buyers please come out of the woodwork, I need moral support over here!
  6. My ideal solution would be a combination of the wide, stackable sterilite drawers & those tackle boxes with the removable dividers. Basically like giant tackle boxes that slide in and out just like the sterilite drawers do (but with no annoying lid to remove). I have tried putting sub-containers in the sterilite drawers but i havent found any brands that fit very well.
  7. thanks for the reply. Do you know of any online retailers carrying these sets, and shipping to the US? I couldn't find any
  8. Does anyone know if the new wave of Ninjago sets are available anywhere in the USA, Specifically the City of Stiix? I have a boy who really wanted to get some of these for his 6th birthday on June 9th, but cant find them anywhere. Thanks.
