  1. I've been out a few days. I get the sense that I mised some updates. Can someone please fill me in on what's news we got in the last two or three days? Thanks ^_^
  2. Agreed, I can't see them going that direction either. Not uless they're more like idols or golems, but I find that highly unlikely. Though I do miss the days when we got the same part in all 6 sets because that meant that new part had more color versatility right off the bat. I doubt they'll go back to that though. Seems like we'll still be getting the CCBS style of new parts and recolors, which I'm okay with to. I'm still not a fan of printed parts though, at least when its a recolored part we haven't gotten blank yet that has a print on it. I want flat red and blue chests dang it!
  3. I had mentioned this on the TTV Bionicle discussion forum as well, these images aren't conclusive. Look how much leaked photos of previous rendered HF and bionicle sets have changed from the short time they were leaked later in the year to when they came out? That could just be some background fluff. It doesn't necessarily mean anything here. The cold sucky truth is that until we get anything else, I think we've gleamed all we're going to get out of this image. Zooming in and speculating based on grainy pixelated color blobs in the background of a photo within a photo is pretty inane I'd say.
  4. I liked series one a lot more because the armoring was more technic based than series 2's. They did offer a nice change in aesthetics. So I'm with a few others like Chro, for parts, yeah, especially if they don't use that annoying ratcheting system and use the system with ball and socket parts instead, and if they make more technic style attaching armor, weapons and helmets. I liked that some of them could be attached via an axle in the back. I got Vladek's mask specifically for a MOC, only to find out it didn't have that feature, So I was a little annoyed.
  5. I'm with Aanchir on this one. I didn't notice any lack of effort in the sets and each year has still had new moulds and recolors. We should also consider that the Chima UBs also probably cyphoned off some of the constraction budget and that has ran for both 2013 and this year. I don't think this means much, I think it just means lego has shifted around it's focus based on the markets, sales and what's going on as of late. I do think a big factor for why the Chima Ultrabulds not coming to the US could have something to do with Bionicle. Though when I sat down and chatted with Keith Severson at Bricks By The Bay, he mentioned that it probably had to do more with market reports and sales.
