Hey everyone, I just bought 2 X 42100 sets one is going to be built in standard form and the the other in Efferman Mod, I bought the instructuons from CustomBricks.de and ordered the parts from Bricklink I cant wait for it to arrive. I will be ordering the bucket as well to give that nice complete look. Anyone build a truck and trailer to tow the 9800

I just bought the extra parts needed to do the Pinnacle conversion and I also bought Efferman's RC conversion instructions from Rebrickable and ordered the parts from Bricklink for both, I will also be doing my own Tri-Axle conversion with lift axle.

That is beautiful ! I am going to pick up the Mack today locally here in UAE. I actually have a brand new set in Canada still along with all my other unbuilt sets and built ones and my workshop ! I moved here for work and haven't been able to move all my belonging and I will be doing so in my next trip home. Can you please guide me, I plan on buying the Efferman RC instructions and parts needed tp convert it but I also loved your tri-axle mod which I plan on doing to this one. Can you help me or anyone possibly telling which wheels were used to get the Dual rear wheels. I want to buy most of the parts today so I can start with the mods and building. I will eventually build a lowboy trailer.

this model looks great, thank you for sharing the instructions. right outside my balcony there are two BG40's and a BG 36 I am so intrigued with those machines. I have been watching them every day in detail on how they operate and how they work. I just bought this set after seeing this and will be building your model with improvements and realism. unfortunate that this wont start till I go back to canada as I shipped the set to my house there and I am currently living in Dubai till August.

Hey everyone, I don't think i have introduced myself so now since i plan on doing MOC's and MOD's i thought i should. Name is Sammi, i'm from Toronto, Canada. I've been really into LEGO since i was a kid, stopped for many years and now getting back into it again. I currently have a few models (all Technic) I have a 8258 built but i want to do the hans MOD's to it. I was in NYC over the new years and bought 2 8258 sets at half price to do some mods to them. The first one I would like to make a DUMP TRUCK (RC) saw one on Youtube, kinda Awesome. The second one I would like to make a truck with no crane, and a low-boy trailer for it, use the low boy trailer to tow the 8043 Excavator. I just bought EVERY piece needed to make the Jurgen 8043 MOds to the excavator, I had bought it in July but have been traveling so haven't had the time to build it and now i finally got all the pieces from the parts list (thanks Jurgen) and now i can build it, I also to my luck got 2 Service packs from LEGO, do not know why, so now i have extra LA's :) ! I'm looking forward to doing some contribution to this forum and actually start MOC and custom sets for myself. Does anyone have any other option to do with the 8258's that i bought, i know for sure one i want to make a dump truck but undecided what route to take with the other one to make a good tractor for the low boy trailer.

I would really love to build this, i downloaded the instructions, I have the set but have not built it waiting for my new LA's from TLG. I have ordered the XL motor, PF Lights, IR Reciever, M Mtor, IR Controller; however, I was wondering if u have a list for all other parts as i'd like to purchase them so i can build it, i really dont have tuns of spares and i looked and im sure i dont most of the pieces required. If you do have a parts list or anyone does could you please send me a link of them. Thank you in advance

Hey guys, this is my first post and I'm pretty new here but deff. not new to lego :). I bought the set but havent put it together, i live in Canada but got it from USA cause its cheaper; just got off the phone with LEGO SUPPORT and they said go ahead get started on it if you want the rep was VERY HELPFUL took my name and number and e-mail addy and said he will contact me as soon as he get the memo on the fix and the soloution to the set. LEGO clearly aware of the issue and doing an amazing job to support the end user :) !
