  1. Thanks, that gives me some ideas. I don't think that big layout will fit in a 4x8, but I think I can modify it. It didn't occur to me to use the crossing at an angle.
  2. Hi everyone! I've had my European 12v train set in storage for a couple decades and decided to break them out. I don't have any pictures of my original layout, so I'm starting from scratch, but I do have a 4'x8' surface on which to build. The problem is that I'm not feeling very creative and I'm struggling with a track layout that doesn't look boring. So far, I've come up with this. As you can see, I'm going to have to cut some tracks in half to make it all fit, but my concern is mostly that it looks boring. So I was hoping some of you could post pictures of your 12v tracks for inspiration.
  3. I have some European 12V Lego trains that have been in storage for 30 years. While trying to reassemble them, my sleeper plates usuallt break when I try to remove them from the rails. Does anyone have any tips on how to safely detach them?
